I closed my eyes but opened them again when I heard people celebrating

She walked away from everyone and sat down on the grass
I hugged and talked to my other teammates
Leah was still sitting on the grass, Georgia was talking to her
I walked over to them and kneeled down
Leah was crying
"You played amazing this tournament- Leah don't blame yours-"
"No I didn't" She said
"Yes you did"

"Leah I'm not lying" I said
"We were up by one and I decided to tackle that fucking bitch"
"We're still young we will get it next time" I said
She shook her head no
"I'm gonna quit"
"No you're not"
"Yes I am" Leah said
"Get up, we need to get our medal" I said
"No"
"Yes Leah"
She shook her head no
"I just want to go home, I don't want to be here and I don't want to be around anyone right now"
I wiped away her tears
"I'll leave you alone but stop blaming yourself" I said and walked away
After getting our medals we thanked our fans
I was talking to my family when someone tapped my shoulder
It was Lucy
"Hey can you come with me?" She said
"Uhm yes, why?"
"Leah is not doing well, she's asking for you"
"Where is she?"
"In the bathroom"
"I'll be there in a second" I said
She nodded and walked away
"I'll talk to you later mom" I said
I said bye to my family and ran inside
I walked inside the bathroom
Leah was sitting on the ground, she was crying
I hugged her
"I- Y/n I don't want- I- I-"
"Calm down Leah. You need to catch your breath- you're hyperventilating"
"Y/n I-"
"Try to match my breathing. Breath in-"

"I can't wait until we're in Spain" I said trying to distract her
"We can visit Lucy and Kiera in Barcelona"
"That would be nice" She said
We sat on the ground for 10 more minutes when Leah was doing better
"I need to do these stupid interviews right now and I don't want to do it"
"You don't need to do them" I said
"Yes I do"
"No you don't, I'll talk to them"
"I want to go home" She said
"We will be home soon. Let's go change our clothes" I said and helped her up
We walked out of the bathroom
"Leah are you ready for the interview"
"No she isn't ready, she's not doing any interviews today" I said
"She's the captain so-"
"So what? She's also a normal person with emotions and feelings. She's not doing an interview right now" I said
"Leah just 3 minutes"
"Y/n I have to-"
"No you don't Leah"
"But-"
"Leah if you're not feeling okay then don't do it" I said
"I'm not doing any interviews today" Leah said and walked away
It's been hours later
I was sitting next to Leah on the plane
"Are we almost home?" She said
"No bab- Leah"
"I'm tired"
"Get some sleep" I said
She placed her head on my shoulder
"Is this okay?" She said
"What?"
"Me sleeping on your shoulder"
"Of course"
"Thank you"
It's been a week later
"Y/n are you ready?"
"Mom I don't get it, why are we going on a vacation with Leah's family?" I said
"Tell me Y/n, what's weird about going on a vacation with friends"
"Leah is my ex girlfriend"
"So?"
"Mom you don't get it"
"You can be friends with your ex-"
"Yes but that doesn't mean that I want to spend my free time with her"
"Then stay here"
"I was all alone in Germany, I don't want to be alone here in England. I don't want to spend my holiday alone"
"You're getting on my nerves Y/n. Grab you suitcase and hurry"
The next day
We just arrived at our hotel
It was around 2:45
I was really tired and annoyed
"Name please?"
"Y/n Y/l/n" I said
"Here's your keycard, room 507" She said
"Thank you" I said
I wanted to grab my phone but it was gone
"Where's my phone?" I said
"What?" My dad said
"My phone, I'm not stupid Lucas give me my phone back"
"I don't have your phone" My brother said
"Lucas I'm fucking tired give me my fucking phone back or I will-"
"Can you two stop fighting we're literally 2 hours in Spain and all you two do is fight" My mom said
"It's the middle of the night, I'm tired, I'm annoyed so stop playing and give me my fucking phone back" I said
He handed me my phone
"Hi Leah" My mom said
I turned around, my eyes landed on Leah
She embraced me in a hug
"How was the flight?" She said
"Good, why are you awake?" I said
"Just to say hi"
"Its not like I'll see you in the morning" I said
"Y/n don't be rude" My mom said
"Its okay" Leah laughed
"Do you need help with your suitcase?" She asked
"No thank you" I said and walked away
I was really annoyed and wanted to get some sleep

"What now Leah?" I said
"Nevermind" She said and walked away
The next morning
I decided to text Leah
Me: sorry about yesterday
Me: I was really tired
Leah: it's fine
Leah: Want to go to the beach?
