Throwing my phone on the floor I couldn't believe I saw that. I paced my room, and was so consumed in the thoughts of wanting to strangle this man that I didn't even hear the door open and close. "Y/N? Are you alright?"
I snapped my head in the direction of the voice, and saw Lena standing there staring at me. "What?" I asked
Lena motioned towards me, and the shattered screen of my phone that lay on the floor. "Babe you're pacing, and the screens cracked" She said slowly coming over and making me sit on the bed
I sighed, "It's Lovee" I said
Lena's eyes widened, "What'd he do " She asked concerned
"Lemme see your phone"
Clutching her phone to her she shook her head vigorously, "Absolutely not, ain't you seen how yours lookin' right now?"
I smacked my lips, "Girl just gimme the damn phone" I said
She let out a breath before unwillingly handing me the phone, I pulled up IG and typed in #BLovee in the search bar, I scrolled down to the photo and handed it back to her. Confused she accepted the phone back before looking down, the moment her eyes made contact with it they widened and shot back up to me.
"Girl ain't no fucking way" She said
"Apparently there is a fucking way" I told her pointing towards the photo of Lovee and some random smoochie booed up on the club chairs with one of her hands on his chains and another in messing with his dreads.
"What the fuck is he thinkin? The boys didn't stop him?" She asked
I shrugged, "Ion know but I know what I'm thinking" I told her
Lena's eyes widened shaking her head, "Oh! no, no, no, no we are not going to jail today baby we are way to pretty for that shit" She said, "Has he called you to explain anything"
I shook my head, "Nope not a text, not a call nothing" I said
"Oh lord this man wants to die" She muttered
I nodded, "Hell yes he does"
"Y/N! Someone's here to see you" My cousin yelled from the other side of my door, Lena and I looked at each other before quickly getting up to go and see who it was. When I got into the living room my cousin was gone and the door slightly ajar.
Going over and opening the door I saw Lovee leaning on the rail, his head turned and there was no emotion on his face. I crossed my arms, "What do you want?" I asked
"Baby-"
"Don't Baby me Qway, who the hell is that girl? And what the hell were you thinking?"
He sighed, "Can we talk in private"
I raised an eyebrow, "Whatever you gotta tell Y/N you could say in front of me" Lena said
Lovee looked over to me, and I closed my eyes for a second. "I won't kill him Lena" I told her turning to her
She gave me a warning look, and I nodded my head, "Alright but imma be in the room if we gotta hide the body" She said whispering the last part
I chuckled as she squeezed my shoulder, and sized up Lovee going away into the room. Once we heard the door close, I turned around leaving the door open for him to come into the house. He followed behind me, and closed the door as I sat down on the couch.
Coming over he sat in the chair directly across from me rubbing his hands together, "You wanted to talk, so talk Qway" I said
He sighed, "Can you stop calling me that?"
"Niggah ain't that your name?" I asked
"Yeah, but not to you"He retorted
I rolled my eyes, "Qway, whatever you've gotta say hurry up and say the shit already. Attempt to save yourself" I told him emphasizing his name
Lovee closed his eyes for a second before opening them and scooting up in the chair more, "Aight listen the photo ain't what really happened, I mean it happened but nothing happened" He said
"You expect me to believe that? Her whole hand was in your hair my guy"
He smacked his lips, "You expected it to be half ha hand?" He said attempting a joke
"Qwayshawn" I warned
Lovee rubbed the back of his neck, "Aight, aight poor timing but anyways the broad kept pushin' up on everyone last night. We was all pushin' her away, tellin' her to go back to her section with her girls" He started looking at me to make sure I was following, "Okay?" I said
"She wouldn't give, then she sat in between Dougz and I. I pushed her over to him, but she wouldn't move and then started touchin' my hair and shit, one of her bum ass friends came over and said some shit then right after that I pushed her away forreal and got the hell up outta there. I promise you" He said
I stared at him for a moment, "Do you think I'm dumb Qwayshawn? That smoochie literally had her hands in your dreads, AND she was playin with your chains!" I said
Lovee didn't say anything and stuck his hand in his pocket pulling out his phone, I scoffed. "So your phone is important right now? You do realize we havin' a conversation" I said
"Bro if you ain't gon believe me I'm gon call Dougie, he was wit me the whole time and so was Bluu , and Jo" Lovee said typing away on his phone
The silence fell between us as I crossed my leg shaking it to contain my anger, a few seconds later I heard the dialing tone. "Yo My Heart what's goin on?" Dougie beamed through the phone
Lovee sighed, "Yo Mud tell Y/N bout the smoochie from last night" He said turning the phone to me
When I looked at the phone Dougie's smiling face scrunched up when he saw mine, "Damn sis what got yo face like that?" He asked
I rolled my eyes, "This conversation" I answered
Dougie chuckled, "Aight so BOOM! The smoochie from last night ion know what ya mans has told you but the hoe wouldn't leave young niggahs alone. She kept pushin up on us and shit, My Heart kept say ' I gotta girl, leave me alone' the entire night and she just wouldn't move" He said
My eyes shifted to Lovee who was looking down at his hands, "So then how the photo was taken like that?" I asked
Dougie shrugged, "Ion know sissy some bum niggahs probably took that shit, but Imma keep it 1000 witchu this man love you and wouldn't do that to you. Trust we'd beat his ass" He said
I looked at him one more time, "Thank you Dougie" I said handing him back the phone
Lovee took the phone, and said his 'thanks' and 'goodbyes' to Dougie before ending the call and looking at me. "Do you believe me now"He asked
I sighed, "Why didn't you call me and tell me last night?" I asked
"Cause I was lit , and I knew it was gon sound like an excuse or like I did somethin when I didn't" He said
I nodded my head. Lovee reached across the space between us taking my hand in his, "I would never do that to you, Y/N you mines forever. You literally my heart even though you wanna kill me half the time" He said making me chuckle
Lovee stood up making me stand with him, as he pulled me into a hug. "I don't wanna kill you all the time" I grumbled
He laughed, "You say it all the time" He said looking down at me
"No I don't"
Lovee nodded his head, while holding my hand I felt him slip something on my finger and when I looked down a ring stared back up at me. My head snapped back up to his that held a smile, "Qway"I said
Lovee smacked his teeth, "What I told you bout that"
I chuckled, "It's beautiful seriously"
"Now you really mines forever"
