His Basketball Crush - Dee Play4keeps

Stepping off of the bus I pulled my hoodie further down as we walked over to the hotel doors, all I wanted to do right now was sleep. Going from that long ass flight from Oregon to New York drained the hell outta me, and then the drive from the airport to the hotel felt like it was longer than that damn flight, but at least I was back home in New York. 

After getting out of the elevators Chance, Te-Hina and I made our way to our room and the moment we opened the door and peeped those beds we flopped right on them dropping our bags to the ground. "Bro I don't wanna have to move from here for another day" Chance said groaning

I nodded in agreement, "Word to if they make us get out for team bonding shit Imma fake sleep" I said sitting up

Te-Hina chuckled, and just then there was a knock at the door. The three of us looked at each other, and I sighed getting up to open the door. Once I opened it Coach Sadie stood there with a smile on her face, "Heyyyy" She said dragging it out and walking into the room 

The girls and I watched her as she stood in the center of our room, "Coach we love you but whatever you're about to say we ain't doin" Chance said raising her hands in defense

I nodded my head agreeing with her, and Coach Sadie chuckled, "Listen ladies I'm actually here for you, Y/N" She said turning towards me and pointing with a smile

"Oh! C'mon we just got here" I said

She chuckled, "You're not in trouble, but someone's down in the lobby for you" She said 

I raised an eyebrow, "Who's downstairs?" 

Coach Sadie shrugged her shoulders, "You just gotta go and find out" She said 

I sighed waving to the girls as I took my room key with me ,and went downstairs. When I arrived downstairs I saw some backs turned towards me and Coach Graves smiled at me. "She's here" He said

I was confused until they turned around and I couldn't hide my excitement, "Ma!" I said running towards her and hugging her tightly

She laughed, "I couldn't wait till tonight, I needed to see my baby today" She said hugging me back 

Pulling back from her the smile on my face literally couldn't be erased, she held my hands in hers giving them a squeeze. "Oh! Look who I brought with me" She said

I turned my head to see my brothers, and their friends. "JJ, Shawn" I said hugging them 

"Ayo shawty!" JJ said as him and Shawn hugged me

As we entered the court for warm-ups my family sat two rows behind our bench, and I walked over to them dribbling the ball. "Damn Y/N you done grew up" 

I looked over and smiled, "Well Mista Play4keeps I could say the same thing" I said chuckling as I gave him a hug

Dee smiled down at me, "So how much yous knockin' down tonight?" He asked crossing his arms and sizing me 

I shrugged laughing at him, "Ion know might have to show these Colombia broads how we get down in Harlem and leave'em in the dirt" 

Dee laughed, "Well go do ya thing lil one, the boys gon slide later" He said hugging me once last time before Coach evidently called me back over to the rest of them 

I waved at them, and gave my Mom one more hug before jogging over and beginning our warm ups. 

We warmed up for another 20 minutes before the start of the game, and by the end of the first-half I'd already had 15pts, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists. As we went into the tunnel and into the locker room, we were hyped as we were up by 20pts in general. 

Before we knew it the rest of the game went by in a breeze, and we'd won I ended the night with 28pts, 9 rebounds, and 12 assists. And due to the fact that we'd won we were granted free time once we got back to the hotel so I called up my brothers and they came and got me for the night. 

The moment we drove through the streets of Harlem a big smile made its way onto my face,  I haven't been back in almost 2 years due to college. I was gonna take advantage of this lil mini break. "Aight we back" Shawn said as we stopped in front of the apartments

I smiled, "Yo I missed this place" I said as we hopped out the car.

"Ayo! Is that lil Y/N" Someone called out

When I turned I smiled, "Is that the Jiggyman?" I asked hugging Sha

He laughed, "You wildin' for that, yo! Saw you go crazy tonight" He said 

I pretended to dust my shoulders, "Aye a young niggah gotta do what she gotta do now" I said 

"Yeah, yeah, yeah young niggah but she shorter than the real young niggah!" 

I turned just in time to see DD walking over with Ddot next to him, "Yo! My Hearts are all grown up" I said giving them hugs

"We can't even the same for you My Heart you still the same height since two years ago" Ddot said laughing 

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever y'all just mad cause a Young Niggah on Tv now" I said sticking my tongue out at them 

I felt an arm go around my shoulder, and when I turned I met the smiling face of Dee. "Shorty came to the Hill why it take forever to get you inside?" He asked looking down at me 

"What do you mean, we just got here" I said pointing to the still hot car 

He smacked his lips, "Sure you did, I watched-"

"You was watchin' her bro? She your girlfriendddddd" Ddot asked poking Dee

"Yo bro you ain't even let me finish" He tried to argue

And to be honest it didn't even matter what Dee was trying to explain to them because the both of them along with Sha and Dudey just began laughing like crazy. I shook my head at them, "Childish" I said 

"Anyways forget these clowns, what you doin' here this late?" Dee asked

I looked up at him with a hand on my hip, "You don't want me here? I'll leave" 

He smacked his lips as we began walking away from the group of laughing hyenas, "Of course I want you here, lemme change my question" He said clearing his throat 

I chuckled, "Aight lemme hear your changed question then" I told him this time crossing my arms 

Dee nodded, "How come you here but ain't come and see me specifically?" He asked as we stopped and he leaned against one of the railings

I stood in front of him, "How come you ain't come see specifically at the hotel?" I retorted

Dee chuckled, placing his hands on my waist and bringing me closer to him, "And how I'm 'posed to come see you at that hotel with maddd Niggah's behind me?" He asked

I shrugged, "Maybe you just don't like me anymore" I said 

He smacked his lips, "Girl stop playin' you know I been on you since we was kids" 

I laughed, "Well you gotta funny way of showing it" I said

Dee smiled, "But forreal though how long you gon be on the hill?" He asked

"Probably just for the night, gotta head back tomorrow morning so we could leave"I told him looking down at the bright green and yellow dunks I had on

Dee placed a finger under my chin making me look up at him, "Then let's go see ya Moms and stuff before I gotta let you go"
