Scrolling through TikTok, my entire FYP had been converted over to videos about makeup, Letitia, and Jenn. And in no way was I complaining, the only problem was that she was 41 and knew Kyle.

"Y/N!"

Quickly closing outta TikTok before that gets me in trouble, I walked outta my room meeting Kyle in the kitchen. "What's up?" I asked

Giving me a hug, he opened up the fridge and began speaking, "You busy later?" He asked his head in the fridge

Hopping up on the counter I shrugged, "I don't know why, what's up?"

Pulling out the juice and an apple he set them on the counter, "I gotta friend who needs their hair done, and I know you do hair" He said looking at me

I bit my lip, "Um who's the friend?" I asked leaning towards him

He mugged me, shaking his head, "It ain't like that and will never be like that Y/N" He said pouring the juice

"Ky I'm just jokin'"

"Anyways, Jenn need her hair done so I told her my little sister do hair and shit"

I had to contain myself because, the way I knew something good was gon happen to me because the signs were there is crazy. "Oh, so when she comin?" I asked trying not to sound different

Kyle shrugged his shoulders , "I don't know she said she was gon hit you up on IG"

Nodding my head I jumped off of the counter, and put the juice away as Kyle had walked to another part of the kitchen getting something else and going to sit at the table.

Kyle and I are cousins, but we were raised like siblings since we were young due to our mothers being close in age and having us 4 years apart from each other. Kyle being the oldest almost always referred to me as his little sister or baby sister, was and is still very protective.

There wasn't a day where we weren't at each others houses, and the fact that our Moms both moved to the same building just made it even more. "Yo you have a charger? My phones bout to die" He spoked taking his attention off of the food he was eating

I scrunched up my face as some rice fell out his mouth, "Next time lets just wait till we finish chewing before speakin" I told him handing him the charger from the kitchen

He waved me off plugging it in the wall, and going back to his food and phone. Picking up my phone, a small smile made it's way onto my face as I saw the IG notification. Unlocking my phone, I opened up the message.
