"You know what's ironic? I named this club the Rukajigoku. That's your mother's name and 'hell' put together."

"I don't give a damn, you stupid father! You're not worthy to have Mom's name on your club after you killed her!" Kashi was taken aback by this.

"How did you know-"

"SO IT'S TRUE?!" Zoro screamed louder than he ever had before. Kashi gulped. He had to reveal the truth.

"I thought it was just a hunch that I had, but it now appears that the hunch is actually conf-"

"I did it. She didn't agree with me putting the older two siblings of yours into the wars I fought, so I slipped so hard - body sedatives into her drinks. She died a few days after that." Kashi admitted.

Zoro started breathing heavier. His eyes were watering with the amount of gaze that he was giving his father. He loathed him more than ever now. He was gripping his swords so hard, the Haki that he had leaked into them was like an overdose of Morphine.

A black aura appeared Zoro's swords and started to make them turn into a black radiation of colour. Zoro's eye started to flash black at 2 second periods. Kashi realised what this was.

This was the awakening of a Black Blade.

-

Kashi stared in awe at Zoro's three swords.

The Wado Ichimonji. Now fully black with it's blade shining off the radiating sun.

The Sandai Kitetsu. Its Dragon - Like pattern now going from purple to dark and remorseful.

The Maito Enma. Fully Black, including its handle.

Zoro didn't even notice the blades turning black. He was so preoccupied with saving Luffy and Kashi confessing that he had actually killed his mother. He rushed towards his father, who was marvelled at the speed at which Zoro was running at. He shoulder charged his father off Luffy and freed him from his father's foot grip. His father went flying back to the precipice, just on the edge of the cliff. Zoro lifted him up by his cuffs and started to brutally punch his face over and over again as payback for what Kashi had done to his mother.

"She never wanted me to go to...war. SO I had to.. st-stop her. She...got physi...physical about it. But I...had to pr...protect my country." Kashi stifled between Zoro's rage - filled punches.

"Shut UP! I'm done with you! I'm cutting you out of my life forever, so I won't need to deal with you and I won't hear your name ever again!" Zoro screamed out loud into Kashi face.

"Zoro-"

"WHAT THE HELL WOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT LOVING ANY PERSON AT ALL? YOU TRIED TO DROWN YOUR OWN SON! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING MORE FROM YOU ANYMORE, AND I'M GOING TO KEEP IT THAT WAY!" Zoro was reaching his limit now. He couldn't express his feelings anymore than he could right now. Zoro kept on punching his father with all of his energy. Kashi then slumped to the ground, his face and eyes bleeding profusely. Zoro unsheathed his Wado Ichimonji, one of the reasons that he had ventured down the path that he was in currently. He was going to end things once and for all.

He was finally going to rid his father and rid the feelings of torture and hate out of his brain.

He was about to bring the blade down, before his father then stopped it with his bare hands. Kashi started to breathe heavily as he then ripped the Wado Ichimonji from Zoro's grip. He started to cough up blood with the amount of damage done on his face. He threw the Wado Ichimonji down the throat of the precipice. It was so damn close to dropping down a sheer 1000 feet. Zoro gasped. That sword was practically his lifeline. He kept that sword as a memento for his friend. He wasn't going to let those 15 years of his life go down the drain. He rushed over to the sword that was dangling on the edge of the cliff overlooking the ocean.

However, Kashi swiftly kicked him back a few meters. He got up, still heavily breathing as a purple aura radiated off of him.

"It seems like you do not know how to use a black blade yet. That's unfortunate. You could have stood a chance against me then. But now, I have awakened my Devil Fruit. You cannot stop me." Kashi growled.

It was true. Zoro felt the aura of Kashi radiating off him. Everybody from Shimotsuki ISLAND could feel it. It was that heavy. Zoro stared at his father. He was shocked at the level of his father's power. His father then charged at him. Zoro was so shocked that he couldn't move. He finally mustered up the courage to attack him, but Kashi simply dodged the attack with a smirk and retaliated by pushing Zoro's liver and guts back into his spine. It was kinda like Luffy's Ryou. Zoro felt so much pain in that moment, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

"You see, the secret of the Rakku - Rakku No Mi is that I can touch anything and anyone and that gives them or the object good luck. I can't give it to myself though. However, with an awakening, this rule changes. I can give luck to however I want. I can wish for bad luck on other people if I touch them. Just then, when you tried to attack me, I touched myself and inserted luck into me, which enabled me to dodge your attack. Practical, right?" Kashi raised his hand up to his face. Kashi still continued in with his attack, resuming some punches and kicks to Zoro's stomach. In a way, this was almost payback.

"Come on, Zoro. Fight Back! You were not this silent when you had a Black Blade! But your Wado Ichimonji is now at my mercy. If you do what I say, I promise on your mother that I will give your sword back." Kashi walked over to the sword, the Wado Ichimonji.

Zoro's eyes widened at the mention of his mother's name. He grit his teeth and nodded slowly.

"Good, I want you to kill the friend in the orange suit. Right now. He's supposed to be a Yonko, isn't he? If you kill him, your bounty will go up BIG TIME." Kashi explained, as he chucked a small pocket knife at Zoro. He caught it, with his eyes even wider than before.

"What kind of choice is this? Kill Luffy or lose the Ichimonji? Luffy probably wouldn't want this in the first place, and neither would mother! Mother, what should I do?"

Zoro looked towards the sky as he kneeled down next to Luffy as he then raised the pocket knife, poised to strike Luffy in the heart. Then his senses got knocked back into him.

"Wait, what am I doing? I'm going to risk my best friend's life for a sword? What was I thinking? What's going on with me, Mother?" Zoro simplicity thought.

"Well? What are you waiting for? Do it!" Kashi yelled from behind him. Zoro turned around and noticed that his father had the Wado Ichimonji in his hands. Zoro knew what his father was about to do. Kashi was about to inject Zoro's Ichimonji with his luck and when Zoro had made his choice about killing Luffy or not, Kashi was going to stab him with the Ichimonji.
Something seemed wrong. He couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from, though.

Damn it, Kashi!

Zoro looked around his father, and then he found what was wrong in his head. The precipice where his father was standing; that's what was wrong! It was about to fall off! He saw that his father had taken notice of this, and was about to step off it, when Zoro's brain acted on instinct and threw the pocket knife onto the point of the precipice where it was breaking off the most. As it landed, it caused a chain reaction and then cut off the whole precipice. Everything went in slow - motion. Kashi realised what happened a few seconds before he was falling down the cliff.

Suddenly, an elastic hand stretched down and reached Kashi, who was losing consciousness from the height of the fall. Kashi excitedly took the hand and was super grateful who it was...until he saw who had reached for him.

Monkey D. Luffy had rescued Kashi from his immense doom that was the cliff and the drop.

"Thank you, Monkey D. Luffy! I am forever indebted to you!" Kashi thankfully shaked Luffy's hand, then saw Zoro approaching him.

"Don't thank me...thank your son." Luffy corrected, as Zoro looked expectantly at Kashi.

"...Why did you do that? Why didn't you let me die?" Kashi questioned. Zoro had a killing look in his eye.

"It's what Mom would've wanted." Kashi looked embarrassed.

Then Zoro stabbed Kashi in the stomach, and Kashi spat out blood. He was shocked by the ending of his story. Then he remembered.

-

He saw Luffy and Zoro, standing over the top of him. They were on the precipice of Shimotsuki Palace, overlooking the ocean, as Zoro was holding him by the waist on his shoulder and as he muttered a few words before he threw him into the ocean sea below.

-

"No, NO, NO! This can't be it! I need to...survive for my...family..." Kashi's thoughts trailed away as he was thrown over the cliff by Zoro.

"Thank god, he's finally gone! Fly away, Father Shimotsuki!" Zoro wiped some sweat from his brow.

"Shishishishishi!" Luffy sheepishly smirked.

And the Sun set on the day that the Straw Hat's lives were changed forever.

-

"Tell me EXACTLY what happened. No holes in the story. Everything that happened while you were with them while reporting for the World Government." The uncanny voice of Admiral Akainu sounded out. Or rather, Fleet Admiral, as of now.

"The Shimotsuki are all gone, now Joben Shimotsuki is the ruler of them. There's only him and Roronoa Zoro." Kuina's voice came out.

"I have made my decision. I will move the date for the destruction of the Shimotsuki up to tomorrow. Relay that to everyone except for the Ruler of Shimotsuki and those confounded Straw Hats." The dendenmushi then clicked and Akainu's voice was gone.

Kuina widened her eyes.

This was not good at all.
