I open my eyes slowly as I feel something gently shaking me awake. "Good morning" Derek smiles. I smile small, still really tired and achey from last night. He's knelt beside the bed infront of me.
"Morning" I say. "I have to go to work meredith, I'm running late.. I put my phone number on here, okay? You can call me whenever you want" he says. "Okay" I smile wider.
"I really hope you do soon" he says. "Trust me, I will" I smirk. He chuckles. "I had fun last night" he says. "So did i" I sit up, holding the covers around myself.
"I'll see you soon hopefully" he says. "Bye" I say. He kisses me before leaving. I sigh, smiling hugely as I lay back on my bed.
"Baby? Are you awake?" I rub my stomach. "I had the best night last night.. mommy got laid" I whisper. I giggle. I love talking to it but I must seem crazy. I can't wait until its born.
I look at the time. I can not be late to my first day of work. I'm already pregnant, I can't seem incompetent too. There's a knock at my door. I get out of bed quickly and put my pyjamas on. I hear someone walking upstairs. It must be cristina.
"Hey" She walks in. "Hi" I smile. "Why do you look so happy?" She asks. "No reason" I say. "Get ready.. you are not making me late today" she says. "Fine" I grab my clothes and get ready.

I'm halfway through my first day at work. I've had such a good day. I already love my job so much, but god it is tiring. Being an intern is exhausting. I couldn't imagine being an attending.
"No, the new attending.. doctor shepherd.. he's just over there" Bailey points at someone. I look over. We make eye contact. Oh my god.
I walk out of the room quickly. "Mer-meredith" he grabs my arm gently, pulling me into the stairwell. "You work here? You're- you're an attending?" I whisper harshly.
"Calm down" he whispers. "Don't tell me to-" I say. "I'm sorry, that's not what I meant.. I just don't want you to stress out because of the baby" he says. "Oh, well.. thanks" I say.
"We can't do this anymore then.. I can't be your 'friend' now!" I say. "Yes you can" he smirks, stepping closer. "Stop looking at me like that" I say. "Like what?" He asks. "Like you've seen me naked!" I yell.
"Shh!" He chuckles. "The one time I found someone who can give me good sex with no strings attached and he's my fucking boss'' I say. "So.. it was good, huh? How good?" He smirks. "Shut up" I say. He chuckles.
His pager goes off. "Don't you need to be somewhere?" I roll my eyes. "Nope" he steps closer. I step away, my back against the wall. I look into his eyes.
"Will you still call me?" He asks. "No" I look down. "Meredith" he says. "Probably.. but not because I want to but because I have no self control" I say. He laughs. I smile.
"If you were a good guy then you wouldn't come over when I call you" I say. "You want me to be a good guy?" He asks. I shake my head slowly. He chuckles.
"Why do you have to be my boss?" I sigh. "I'm your bosses boss" he says. "And you're my boss" I say. "That doesn't mean that we can't be friends" he smiles, stepping even closer.
"Are you really that desperate for sex? Can't you just find someone else?" I ask. "I want you" he says. "A pregnant woman?" I giggle. He shakes his head.
"You" he puts his hands on my waist. I stare into his eyes as our lips brush together. He kisses me. I close my eyes, putting my hands on his cheeks.
He chuckles, looking down as my baby literally kicks his stomach through mine. We both laugh. "See? Even my baby thinks that this is a bad idea" I say. "Its strong" he says. "Yeah, it is" I smile.
"Do you not mind.. calling it it?" He asks. "No, I don't know what else to call it" I chuckle, shrugging. We hear the door open at the floor above. We pull apart quickly.
"Meredith" he whispers as I'm about to leave. "I'll see you at mine tonight" I whisper, hooking my fingers in the waistband of his scrub pants, pulling him close. He steps forward, going in to kiss me.
I move away and leave. I try to hide my grin as I walk away to find cristina so I can tell her to not come over after work.
