I don't own. This belongs to their respective owners. I make no money of this.
"This should be fun," Tony said.
"Um, what is that," Tony asked.
"That," Doctor Strange answered. "Is a Celestial. They judge world. If they judge them worthy, they allow it to live and continue existing. If not well, even I would be unable to stop them."
"Lovely, and they are holding Thor hostage," Tony sarcastically responded.
"I am so confused, what just happened," Steve asked.
"Just watch," Uatu responded.
"THOR!"
"I am confused," Thor said. "I am far more durable for a spear to kill me, even if not my armor is made of uru metal."
"That is what you are worried about," Loki asked his brother. "You have been stabbed and you are dying and you wonder about your durability and armor."
"Dude," Rocket said. "You allowed them to carry you for possibly several miles just to punch him when he went for your ring. You have a theme for dramatics I'll give you that."
Thor did not respond.
"Okay," Rocket said. "Maybe not."
"I am Groot," Groot said.
"So what if it is insensitive to say."
"So, the eye was showing Thor flashbacks and now is showing him what Odin is doing," Loki guessed.
"Yes," Uatu answered.
No one commented, too curious to say anything. If they did, it would delay getting answers.
"What is he doing," Drax the Destroyer asked.
"He has impaled himself on his spear, Gungnir. He then hung himself on Yggdrasil. He plans to prevent Ragnarok by sacrificing himself."
"Will it work," Drax questioned again.
"I do not know," Thor admitted. "In our universe, Ragnarok already happened. Albeit, very different to how it was foretold. He may succeed, he may not."
"I have a felling that she is not my mother, Frigga," Thor said.
"Yes and no," Uatu responded.
"What does that mean?"
"Just watch."
Thor did not like it, but he had no other choice but to follow the order.
"Dude," Tony said. "Your father is a unique guy."
"Yes," Thor agreed. "He was far from perfect, but he loved me and Loki. He was not a good father, but he was a great king and would do anything for those he ruled."
"Wait," Tony said. "There are other gods? I mean, besides you guys, obviously."
"Yes," Thor answered. "There are some, such as Zeus, the oldest and wisest of the gods. He rules over all gods on Omnipotence City. There is Osiris, god of the Egyptian dead. And god of the dead. He and his son Horus, rule over the Egyptian gods. Another notable member would be Khonshu, god of the moon."
"Wait," Bruce interrupted. "What about gods that share a thing they are god of. Such as Hades and Hela?"
"Simple," Thor began to answer. "We only deal with those who follow on our faction. Such as when a Norse warrior die honorably in battle he would go to Valhalla. Should a Greek live a good life he would go to the judges of the Greek afterlife and they see where he goes. Basically whatever religion you believe, that is the one you get, they are all real."
"So all the wars over the years," Tony began. "The ones about what religion was real or not. Both sides were right? You know what, never mind."
"Anyway," Uatu said. "Moving on."
"Just how many gods exist," Scot asked.
"Trillions."
"What, how?"
"Simple. Earth isn't the only planet to worship gods."
"Welp," Rocket said. "Y'all doomed."
"What makes you say that, Build-A-Bear?"
"We fought a Celestial once. Nearly destroyed the universe."
"Wait," Steve said. "They created the Earth."
"In this universe, yes. In yours, no," Uatu partially lied.
"No." Nobody knew who said it. They didn't care It appeared what Rocket had said was true. They had no way to defend Earth. If a blast capable of moving planets was nothing more than a fly landing on them, what could they possibly do?
"So, that is how the Destroyer was made in this universe?"
"Yes," Uatu answered the god of thunder.
Many members of the audience had to hold back a compensating for something joke.
Thor and Loki now had fear for Heimdall he was a good friend and always loyal to the throne. Although Loki hid it slightly better.
"Beloved, huh," Loki teased.
"Not one word. Not a damn word," Thor threatened.
For the second time, no one commented, two curious to say anything and delay getting answers.
An) Done. Sorry for the delay. I will explain in the next chapter why.
