Third Person P.O.V
There was something about you that always made Kyle smile when he thought of you. From the time he met you at the schools library he couldn't ever get you outta his mind, and now that he was no longer attending the school due to him being in 41 and rapping there was no real reason for him to be on campus besides to see you his "friend".
Kyle rarely came during the day to chill with you due to everyone bombarding/ rushing him for stuff during his time with you and although he loved his fans, he hated when anything would interrupt the time you two spent together. You would also go to visit him on the block, and chill with him, Jenn, and Tata at the studio or at concerts and things like that whenever you weren't busy with school stuff.
The situation between the two of you was kinda something that neither of you spoke about, there wasn't really a way to talk or bring it up. Between the two of you, you had more control in the sense where you were able to mask your emotions way better than Kyle, who was like an open book that was written in neon pink ink.
Today though y'all were chilling off campus at a small little library, because you had some stuff to get done before you could really sit down and enjoy your holiday break. "You still taking that class?" Kyle asked peering over at the textbook
You looked up from the laptop with the paper you were writing, and chuckled. "Well yeah Kyle, I gotta take it if I wanna graduate" You said shaking your head
He nodded his head, "You gotta point"
A smile stayed on your face as you went back to writing the paper. To be honest Kyle didn't mind being with you, while you did things like this. For him, it was the time spent together that meant a lot.
He watched as you typed away on the laptop, and would move your hair outta your face. Kyle was technically doing some homework of his own this time during your break, he was trying to figure out when was the right time to ask you to be his girlfriend.
However according to Jenn and Tata, Kyle was a very slow and articulate person who did things only after carefully planning them. Very much the opposite of what he portrays in his music.
"What paper you writing this time?" He asked leaning back closing the book he had
You sighed, "It has to be about the different art forms, and the kinds out there"
He nodded, "How much more you got to go?"
"Actually I just finished the conclusion so technically I'm all done" You smiled closing the laptop.
"You wanna grab something to eat?" He asked
You nodded, "I'll take anything right now literally, anything that makes me forget all the work I just did and makes me remember its' break time so I can have fun and let loose"
He smiled, as he helped you pack up your things before the two of you left the library. Walking down the street, the two of you headed towards the McDonald's and went inside.
Y'all ordered your food, and then took your seats at a booth one on either side. "So Ky what you been up to recently? I saw you been havin' packed shows" You said leaning on the table
Kyle smiled, "They been good, we actually got another one comin up this weekend you should pop out" He said
You smiled, "Say less y'all rollin deep or just normal?"
He shrugged, "I think Tata wanna roll deep to be honest, but ion know what he thinkin"
The two of you talked some more about the upcoming show, your classes for next semester, and other things that came to the top of your heads. Somewhere in your conversation the food was brought to the both of you, "Y/N eat your food first" Kyle said snatching your milkshake and McFlurry.
You pouted, "Kyleeeee, c'mon I worked hard can't I just eat my dairy products first" You whined
Kyle shook his head, "No, you needa eat your actual food, 'cause then you gon complain bout bein full. And you not gon eat it later either" He said
You groaned, but did as he said eating the fries and nuggets mumbling under your breath. "Good girl" He said chuckling
You glared at him, throwing a fry in his direction. "You're annoying y'know that"
"You like me bein' annoyin' though"
You shook your head, as you continued eating trying to hide a smile.
When the two you finished eating he eventually gave you, your McFlurry first and you gave him a look. "Kyle" You warned
He shrugged taking a sip of your milkshake, "Y/N" He retorted
"Why are you drinking my milkshake"
" 'Cause I can, you ain't gon want it anyways"He said still sipping the milkshake
Although you really wanted to drink the milkshake you knew he was right, you were already starting to get full off of the additional McFlurry. He slid it across the table to you, "Take a sip"He said
You smiled knowing you had gotten your way, and regardless you would've eventually gotten him to cave in to you and let you have some or all of it. After taking a sip you gave it back to him, "Thank you" You smiled
Kyle nodded smiling to himself, as he replayed the little moment. Finishing up your food, the both of you threw out your garbage and decided to head to Kyle's. When you guys got to his apartment, he opened the door for you and closed it once you and him had went through it.
You plopped down on the couch letting out a sigh, "I wanna take a nap"You whined grabbing his blanket that was on the couch
He shook his head smiling as he watched you cuddle on the couch, he went into the room changing his clothes before coming back into the living room and sitting on the other end of the couch. You swung your legs placing them on his lap, which made him instantly snap his head towards you. "Seriously bro?" He asked
You nodded, "Yeah I'm comfortable like this" You said sticking your tongue out
He chuckled, "I can see that'"
He put on the TV, and some random movie was playing but he wasn't focused it on it because he was focused on you as you got involved in the movie. He just knew it was something scary because of the way you'd jump slightly, and grab onto his arm.
Somewhere during the duration of the movie Kyle's arm ended up around your shoulder, and you were yawning. "Kyle"
He looked down at you, "Hmm?"
You bit your lip as you stared at him, and after you didn't say anything for a minute he looked down to you. "You good?"
You nodded, "What are you thinkin' bout?" You asked
He raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
You chuckled, "You look so focused so I wanna know what's goin on in your head?" You asked
Kyle stayed silent for a little bit before clearing his throat, "Can I be honest with you?"
Sitting up and crossing your legs you gave him your complete attention because of the seriousness of his voice . He let out a breath before beginning, "I like you, and I been feeling different 'bout us"
You raised an eyebrow immediately thinking this would be the last time y'all actually hung out. "What do you mean?"
He sighed, "I really like you, like I want you to be my girl typa like. Ion want you with no other mans out there, don't want no one touchin' you none of that" He said
You chuckled, "Wow"
"You don't gotta respond if you not comfortable, I ain't gon make you do nothin' you don't wanna do" He said
You didn't say anything for a moment, and the silence was killing Kyle. In all honesty he didn't want for this to be the way that he told you about his feelings for you, he wanted to do it big which is why it was taking quite some time for him to actually say it.
So in his mind the worst of the worst was going on inside, and in your mind it was quite different. You were trying to find the way to say it without sounding to excited but yet not in a way that made it sound indifferent or that you didn't care. After some time had passed you finally spoke. "Ky"
His head snapped to yours immediately, "Yeah?"
You tried to hold onto the smile that wanted to appear on your face, "I like you too"
It took a moment for Kyle to register that his confession actually worked, "Damn" He said
You made a face looking at him, "Excuse me?"
Kyle shook his head, "Nah I ain't- What I meant was- I just-"
You did't even give Kyle a chance to fix his sentence as you placed your lips on his shutting him up, Kyle was surprised at first but fell into the kiss. The both of you were so involved in the kiss and each other you didn't hear the door open, Jenn drop her bag of chips, and Tata slam the door shut.
"Damn I thought y'all was just friends!" Tata yelled
Kyle broke apart from the kiss and looked at the direction of the two of them, holding you to him as your face felt hot. "Yo bro mind ya business and come back later"
