Alright, I'm getting the hang of shooting and know how to activate an active skill, I simply have to think about using it and it automatically initialize.
I wait for the smoke around the muzzle to clear up before checking the results. Standing 20 feet away, 2 of the 6 shots managed to hit the wood albeit one chipping the corner.
Nice. This skill will be incredibly useful at close range. If possible, I want to acquire "Full Focus" as well but time constraint is my largest obstacle.
"What did you just..." Jerry says.

Jerry goes up to me and I hand him the musket.
He empties the cartridge and places the mana stone into the bag.
"I heard that young master will be leaving for Chael tomorrow. So is today your last day practising here?" Jerry.
"Yes," I reply bluntly.
"Put your hand out."

I did as instructed. My hands are wrapped in bandages, Jerry undoes the bandage and checks the abrasion on my palm.
"How is your arm still intact? The continuous recoil from the six shots should have blown your hand off."
I shrug. Despite the realism critics, there are still fantasy elements that don't make sense, completely contradicting the laws of my original world.
I look at the musket.
I don't think it's possible for a musket to be as destructive as a cannon and in contrast, the recoil isn't very strong when taken into consideration.
"Is it a blessing?" Jerry mumbles.
Regardless, he takes the mana stone and gestures for me to follow.
The sky is already dark.
I wait outside his cabin until Jerry comes out with a brown polished musket laced with silver curly designs. Near the muzzle, a rose is engraved into the gun.
Jerry hands the musket and a bag of mana stones to me.
"Take it. I no longer need it, you should use it rather than it collecting dust in my house," says Jerry.

Jerry widens his eye and a slight grin shows.
"Heh...Brat." He mumbles.

My stomach rumbles.
"Do you want to stay for dinner?" Jerry asks.
"Ah, it's fine. I have to prepare for the trip tomorrow." I say and quickly left.
Jerry sighs and goes back into his cabin. Around the dining table is a middle-aged man with red hair and a beard. Behind the mysterious man is a giant sword.
When Jerry glances at the sword, the man apologizes and places the weapon in the corner.
"Anyways, is it fine to give away your prized possession, especially to...that person?" the man asks.
Jerry sits opposite the man and nods. "Although he was only practising for two days, he only stop to sleep, eat, and for nature's calling. Else, he would continuously press the trigger to the point of bruising his shoulder and arms."
The man raises his brow. "What? But-"
"People change, Radz. The young master seems to be determined to join the front line. Albeit having little fragments of the past Samuel, I can say that he matured. You should give him another chance and see him for yourself." says Jerry.
Radz, the red-haired man, scratches his beard. "Well...we will see."
Suddenly, Jerry's wife comes out of the kitchen with a large turkey and several more pieces of meat.

Jerry starts to sweat. "Honey...we are low on money...why did you-"
"The young master left a whole bag of coins. About 200 I would say." Jerry's wife says, the same old woman that opened the door for Samuel.
Jerry bounces out of his seat.
"What?!"
The wife shows Jerry the bag and he takes it.
"What the..." Jerry mumbles when he sees the gold.
Radz stands up and takes a look.
"How did the young master acquire such a sum?! The Turner household barely sends him an allowance. Did he steal it?" He exclaims.
...
Radz sighs.
"I am the captain of the guards that will follow the young master to Chael tomorrow. Then, I will see the new young master with my own eyes..." He says.
