MahiMC22 demanded arshi romance last week and luckily I had this half written in drafts. So, here we go -
--*--
If someone asked Arnav and Khushi 11 years ago who biggest interrupters were in their romance, they would promptly say Aman with his ill-timed phone-calls, Anjali's or Nani's demands to come down for puja, Buaji or khushi's Amma's knocks on the door when they were visiting Guptas, or heck even pet goat Lakshmi ji!
But they never thought one day their own baby would be the one to be a spoilsport in their 'Rabba Ve'! And to think, their kids owed their lives to these "much intense moments", it was just unfair!
But that was the truth of Arnav and Khushi's romance since last 6-7 years!
.
.
Sometime in early 2016- Khushi was 6 months pregnant with Kavish:
Arnav had found her irresistible ever since she got pregnant. Not she was any less desirable before, but pregnancy had added to her natural glow and the feeling that she was carrying their baby used to make him adore her even more.
So, that evening, when he came home and found her luckily alone in kitchen, he went to her on as light feet as he could. She was busy fiddling in fridge, probably looking for something to either make or eat! He chuckled but bit his tongue so as to not alert her. Thankfully, she was too busy rummaging through the fridge!
Tiptoeing slightly, he pecked her cheek from behind, making her startled. And then, just as he wrapped his arms around her belly, he felt a kick!!!
They both froze for a moment! To decipher what happened! And then both broke out laughing, understanding how their little one who was very active in kicking these days had made his/her presence felt!
Arnav sighed and turned her around to see her face, then pecked her forehead and bent down to kiss baby!
That was one of the first interruptions and they both had only rejoiced in it then.

March 2021:
Aru and Pari were just a little over 1 years old and had kept their parents totally busy with their antics. And seeing their darling daughters grow up hour-by-hour, day-by-day had filled arnav-khushi's hearts with immeasurable joy.
But they still missed each other.
So, that day Arnav had planned a dinner 'date' with Khushi. There was a new celebrity chef restaurant opened very near to Shantivan. So, it would not take too much of traveling time. Now, next task was to find out some time when the twins would not need them, or at least Khushi. Kavish had by then learnt to stay without having his parents around for some time, but twins still needed them a lot. Their mealtimes, nap times, and even to keep an eye on them as they were prone to hurting themselves much like their chiku bhaiyya and ultimately their 'fall-pro' mamma!
Long story short, Arnav managed to find out a window of 2 hours when twins would be well fed and would be having their evening nap and he could whisk Khushi away for a short-but-countable evening!
Khushi too, had felt elated at the prospect of spending some time with her Arnavji. Having 3 kids and especially 2 of them so small and completely dependent on her for their every need used to drain her out. Sure, she had entire family and Arnav to help, but a mother is still a mother!
But today, she spent extra time in choosing her saree for the evening, did her hair curling them lightly as he had once said he liked, and put on her favorite pearls which she didn't otherwise wear as twins would try to pull it or nibble on it...
Arnav was mesmerized when he saw her, she looked breathtaking as she descended the stairs and came to stand beside him. Nani and others were giving them teasing glances and thankfully, her jiji kept Kavish occupied with some game with Piya.
So far so good.
They reached the restaurant amidst a fuzzy feeling in their stomachs. As if this was their first date and not as a couple who had been married for 9 years! Once they reached the restaurant, Arnav parked the car, opened her side of door and she gave her hand to his extended hand. They entered the restaurant hand in hand, looking forward to this 'date'.
But when had their love story been smooth? :P
Just as they had ordered their appetizers, Khushi's phone rang. It was from Mamiji who was in their room keeping an eye on sleeping twins.
Khushi answered the call, and immediately asked,"Mamiji kya hua, bachhe thik hai(are kids ok)?"
"Woh- Khushi- Pari bitiya uth gayi hai (Pari woke up) and she is crying continuously." Mamiji said, she herself was feeling bad to disturb Arnav and Khushi but their baby just won't stop crying!
Khushi immediately got up from her chair, "Ji, hum aa rahe hain (we are coming back)"
Arnav too had gotten up by then, "What is it?"
"Pari. She is crying."
He nodded and called the manager cancelling their order and apologizing for it. The manager who had only heard praises about ASR and Khushi Singh Raizada till then, saw a new avatar of this power couple, as parents and assured them they had nothing to apologize for. And it would be an honor to serve them again if they ever plan to visit.
Arnav and Khushi gave a small smile to this gentleman and left for home.
.
.
Much later, as Pari had calmed down as soon as Khushi took her in her arms, Arnav was also lying beside them on the bed, with Pari between him and Khushi. He was caressing pari's downy head when he heard Khushi say,
"I am sorry Arnavji. For- for the dinner...which got spoilt..." Khushi said in apologetic tone. She knew how much this 'date' meant to him.
"Sweetheart, you do realize you are talking about our baby here, right? Nothing is important than ensuring my baby's tears stopped. We can always plan the date again; restaurants are not going anywhere neither you and I!" he said cupping her cheeks and she turned her face slightly to kiss his palms.

A few months ago:
Kids had gone asleep earlier that night much to their parents' relief. Now that their much-active babies were fast asleep, they could spend some time doing some 'grown up' activities!
and just as Arnav had removed the strap of Khushi's nightie, they heard a soft but clear knock on the door which connected kids' room adjoining their bedroom!
Of course, an interruption! Arnav sighed as he rested his forehead on Khushi's. Their moments of romance were too good to be true anyways.
.
.
Arohi had woken up apparently as she saw a 'very very bad dream' where she was left alone in a jungle. And now she couldn't sleep!
Arnav and Khushi shared helpless glances seeing their baby was in a playful mood now with no traces of sleep in her hazel eyes matching her mamma's!
Khushi tried to reason with her daughter, "Aapko neend kaise nahi aa rahi hai, beta (How do you not feel sleepy Aru)? See, everyone is asleep, Pari, your chiku bhaiyya, Piya-"
"But you are also awake and Dada too." their smart daughter pointed out making Khushi flustered and Arnav smirk. It was hard to convince his baby that easily!
"Mamma, let's play hide n seek" Aru suddenly suggested,
"We were kind of doing that princess when you interrupted us." Arnav said in a low whisper earning a slap from Khushi on his chest "ouch!" he scowled.
Khushi still glared at him.
It finally took Arnav to takes Aru to poolside while Khushi decided it was too cold for her liking to go outside. Giving them shawl to wrap around them, Khushi let the father of her daughter make her sleep.
And by the time Arnav returned with a sleeping Aru in his arms, Khushi was fast asleep.

Present:
Arnav had gotten free early today, his 2 meetings got cancelled so he suddenly had free afternoon and his feet automatically took him to Gupta foods, Khushi's office!
Surely there wouldn't be any interruptions there. Right?
.
.
Khushi was pleasantly surprised when she saw Arnav knock on the door of her cabin.
"Are you busy, madam?" he asked with a teasing glint, and she got up from her chair
"Maybe. Depends on what do you need my time for." she replied with a similar tease, and meeting him halfway.
He grinned at her attempt of flirting and tugged at her arms to pull her in his own.
And just as they were reveling in each other's warmth, there was a knock on the door. They immediately left each other and stood at some distance.
"Come in." Khushi said and saw her secretory Neha was there
"Ma'm, we are ready for the facility tour, if you are ready then we can start." Neha said and then noticed Arnav sir aka her boss's husband aka ASR there, "Sorry ma'm, I didn't know sir was visiting. Do you want me to reschedule?" she asked.
But both she and Khushi knew this was an important activity and they had already postponed it many times...
Meanwhile, Arnav stood admiring Khushi's bossy demeanor. She had her own empire-maybe small-but her own nevertheless and he felt proud of her!
"Give me 5 minutes Neha" Khushi said and Neha nodded, closing the door behind her back.
Khushi smiled at Arnav sheepishly. "Arnavji, sorry. I didn't know you were coming. We had planned this facility tour for some time." she said, and he shook his head. If anyone, he was the first person to value professional commitments
"You don't have to, Khushi. I came here unplanned, honestly, I took a lucky guess of meeting you. You go ahead and do your magic here; I will wait for my turn at home." he said with a wink.
Hearing his assurance, an elated Khushi kissed his cheek, "See you soon." She said and left for her 'boss duty'!
.
.
Meanwhile, Arnav kept thinking, were they making any record of sorts of having their 'moments' always interrupted?

A/N - Told you, needed some lighthearted fluff after that high tension drama in last 2 chapters :). Maybe doesn't technically include *ahem* romance but still. Besides, kids ARE biggest interrupters in parents romance #fact :P.
I know I am supposed to work on a couple of requests about Pari's chapter (requested by a lot of you), Piya's(Snow and happy's requests) and chiku's interview(mahima's and happy's request), but I think I will only be able to work on them next year now, as I'll be on year end break, soon. Also, pls let me know if I missed any more parked requests, I tend to forget sometimes. Thank you.
