Lily's POV:
I stare at the friend request button waiting for me to press in Ashley account. I finally found her account after 3 hours of searching.
Her account was private, and the profile pic was a image of her two sibling I saw after the encounter I had with her father.It must be hard having a family like here's and I can I tell that she really loves them.
My dad had to do a quick run to the grocery store because he forgot his watch and I'm just laying on my bed. I received messages from people from school giving me a happy birthday.
It's all fake. When I was down, they barely cared and they don't even know me. Just want publicity. I try to erase my mind from it until I hear knocking coming from the door.
I head downstairs and walk past deflated balloons on the ground. I open the door and my eyes are no longer tired as I quickly go and hug her. "Annia" I grip onto her back as I never saw her in over a year.
I lean back giving her time to breathe as she starts to smile to me."You know I couldn't miss your birthday girl" She said and I just go at it and hug her again. She and I were friends back in preschool and she was the only girl that really cared for me as a friend.
She looked different from last time I saw her. Her brown eyes were lighter then before. Her style changed more cuter then before. She always dressed artistic because she wanted her clothing to express more words then her voice.
She had black hair long weave but this time it had bangs. A nose piercing and to more on her ear lobe. Her make up has gotten better. Her brown skin shined from the sun because she was just so magnificent. "You gonna stop drooling and invite me over or what?" She chuckled and I move and signal her and invite to come in.
She rolled her eyes and went in as I close the door from behind. I watch as she looks at the mess all around the house. "Looks like I missed a party" she exclaimed picking up a deflated ballon. "Actually your quite early. My dad wants my 18 birthday party to be memorable" I head to the kitchen to grab myself a drink.
"You still drinking?" She asked leaning against the counter checking what drink I'm about to pick. I should get offended by that statement but she didn't mean no harm from it. She missed a lot and the new person I am.
I pick out a Fanta and point it at her. She looks a bit shocked as she shrugged her shoulder amused. "I'm sober now"
Her eye slowly turned wide. "Oh my god congrats, Lilly" she claps her hands and I can't help but laugh. She receives a text message and her smile quickly fades. She sighs and she begins to type. "What's going on?"
" I was planning on a surprise birthday party for you but with your sobriety I don't want anything to snap at you to make you drink- so I'm just gonna cancel it" she begins to type more as she spoke.
I hate being the party crasher. "You know what, I would go I mean you did this party for me so I should at least show up"
Her face brightens and she walks over to me and gives me a hug. I press my hands on her back and we begin to shake dramatically as we began to laugh.
After our hug we just began to talk about everything well almost everything. "So your room smells fresh" she walks around my room looking at my counter. I laugh as she looks back at me. "I guess Lucia isn't around here much" she said with a bit of sarcasm. She never really liked Lucia from the beginning but we were always able to remain a good friend group. Fake but chill.
"Yeah um it's complicated" i fiddle with my phone and i see that it's already 4:00 pm. Jeez we been talking for 4 hours.
"Okay you need to get ready and I'm going to get this party started because I have like so many invites to do" She walks over to me and gives me a hug again. "I will see you later. Okay?" She whispers.
"Yeah" she leans back and gives me a smile. She walks away flawlessly like usual. "Stop looking at my ass" she laughs and I start to laugh even more knowing that my mind was somewhere else. Or someone else.
I watch my window and see Annia drive away. I listen to what she said and wore my best outfit.

I headed downstairs and wrote my dad a quick note:
Sorry, I will be back tonight
I felt sad as I wrote the note but I will be back tonight. I headed out and went inside my car and drove. Before I go to this so called party, I need to make a quick stop.
I click on the gps and drive for half an hour before i made it to my destination. I made sure to park halfway from the house in case.
I get off my car and lock it as I slowly made my way across the house seeing that her dad again is outside the front yard drinking.
Luckily he didn't see me make my way to the back yard. I look at the windows from in front of me and I see a particular window clear as I see her. She seemed to be writing and she never looked so beautiful.
I need to grab her attention. I see that in movies people throw rocks at windows to get their lovers attention.
I look for a rock and I see a mini rock but it's a rock. I grab onto it from the dirt and aim at the window before I throw.
