He started driving.
Y/N: Where are we going?
He just glanced at me with a smile and looked at the front before answering.
Luke: You will know soon.
I hummed and looked outside.
Soon, we reached the place.
We got down.
Its a beach.
I looked around and admired the view in front of me.
Luke: Come with me.
Y/N: I thought we are already here.
Luke: Ya, but not this.
He asked me to follow him and I did.
Soon, we reached there.
He turned around.
Luke: Come let's go to the other side.
I nodded and followed him.
We reached the other end.
Luke: You really like to take risks. Whenever I bring my friends here, they would be afraid of walking on these steps.
I just smiled and looked at my front.
It's so pleasent to be here.
Luke: Can I ask something?
Y/N: Carry on.
Luke: Have you ever been in relationships?
I looked at him and shook my head.
Y/N: No.
Luke: Ok. Have you ever loved someone before?
As soon as he asked me that question, my mind automatically displayed him.
His eyes.
His boxy smile.
His words.
His actions.
Atlast him.
Luke: Y/N?
I came out of my thoughts and looked at him.
Luke: You have been zoning out.
Y/N: Uh.. sorry.
Luke: From your reaction, I guess that you loved someone.
I looked at him silently.
Luke: Even I did. I loved someone deeply.
He said while looking down.
Luke: She is no more now.
Y/N: Why are you saying this to me?
Luke: I always come to this place with her. So, when I came here with you now, I just thought of telling about her to you.
A moment of silence took place.
Y/N: What happened then?
I asked him out of nowhere.
He chuckled and said
Luke: Then, what? I am just living with her memories.
Y/N: Haven't you tried moving on from her.
Luke: I did but it's of no use. Even now, I thought I would forget about her when I am with you. But see I am talking to you about her. I think living with her memories will be easy compared to moving on.
He looked at me.
He is correct though. I am also thinking about him while talking to Luke.
Luke: Y/N..
I looked at him.
Luke: Let's be friends. What do you say?
Y/N: Ok.
I said with a smile and looked at my front still thinking about him.
Moving on from you will be tough but living with your memories would be easy.
We left the place and he dropped me at my house.
I went inside my room and sat on my bed thinking his words again and again.
But my thoughts cut off when I heard my phone ringing.
It's from my mom.
Y/N: Mom..
Mom: Y/N? How is your day with him?
Y/N: Good.
Mom: What do you think about him?
Y/N: He is a good person. He is punctual. He is genuine. Atlast he is my friend.
Mom: Friend?
Y/N: Ya.
Mom: But-
Y/N: Mom, please. I am to tired to argue with you now.
She sighed.
Mom: Ok, let's talk about this later. Take care.
I hummed and hung up the call.
Taehyung, I fell for you in a short span of time.
I don't know how but I did.
At that time, I didn't think about my other life being a mafia.
But now, I am deeply thinking about it.
You have done the right thing by rejecting me.
I don't want you to get into the trouble because of me.
I want you to be happy, even if it's not with me, you should be happy with someone else.
I will just live with your memories till I forget about you.
Thank god, I came to US. Otherwise I don't know how will I manage to talk to you in this condition of mine.
I chuckled.
I got a call again but this time it's from Irene.
Y/N: Irene?
Irene: Y/N? We have reached US.
Y/N: What? Why haven't you told me that you are coming today?
Irene: We thought of surprising you. Leave it. Just send me the address of your house.
I hummed and hung up the call.
Then I sent her the address.
I changed into casuals and went downstairs to cook for them.
Then I wore an apron and I started cooking their favorite foods.
Soon, I heard the door bell ring.
I went to open the door but this time I moved away from the entrance as I know what is about to happen.
Lisa and Jennie thought of jumping on me but they fell down on the floor as I moved away before.
The others started to laugh while I chuckled.
Y/N: I knew you guys would do this.
Lisa: Is this is your new way of welcoming us, Y/N?
She asked while getting up along with Jennie.
Y/N: Might be? First come in.
They came inside and looked around.
Jisso: The interior is so pretty.
Y/N: Hmm. By the way, where is Jackson and Chaneyol?
Rose: They will be coming in two to three days. They have some work on tightening the security for your mansion.
I nodded.
Irene: Looks like you are cooking now.
She said while looking at me.
Others: Really? Is it for us?
Y/N: Ya, but it's not ready yet.
Jisso: It's ok. We will first freshen up and come.
I nodded
Jennie: Where are our rooms?
Y/N: There are five rooms in this floor and three in first floor. The middle room in the first floor is mine and other than that, you guys can take any room.
They nodded and left to find their room while I went to cook.
