"Wigo whel ale Ridhhii",Aadhu tried to speak and melt her mama's heart so that she could go out and meet her bestie Ridhi
(If you don't remember Ridhi, Ridhi and Vishal are couple and Ridhi is Devi's best friend)
"Oh baby, your bestie is so busy that she forgets that she has two people waiting for her",Sri says and Aadhu pouts.
"Cawwl Ridhhiii",Aadhu yells.
"Haww, calm down baby",Ram came with a coffee for himself, milkshake for Devi and a feeding milk bottle for Aadhira.
"Dadaaa, cawwl Ridhiiiii",she yells again.
"We will baby, we will. You complete your milky first and then we will call Ridhi and scold her for forgetting her bestie",Ram coo her with sweet words and she starts drinking her milk while the couple laugh at their drama queen daughter.
Aadhira's mind voice : My bestie forgot me, shouldn't she responsible enough to call me and check on me every day? Wait! Did my bestie get a new bestie? Should I find a new bestie? But I don't know anyone to make them my bestie. Why don't I make dada my bestie? But he is my pyara dada, not bestie. Hmph, I am gonna call her and confront her.
"Ram garu, do you think we were too harsh on Ishu?",she asked Ram while taking a sip of her milkshake.
"I don't think so Sri, see it's not our fault. We were just stopping her from dreaming more and more about unwanted and things which are never gonna happen",he said and she nodded.
"I'll try talking to uncle once again about her stay",he says.
"Ayo, don't! He would be tensed unnecessarily. We'll handle it after all it's only three months. I'll try to be friends with her though we started on a bad note, maybe this could end in a different way?",Sri says.
"Sri, if you try to walk in a dirty puddle you'll make yourself dirty nothing would happen to the puddle. You concentrate on work and us, Aadhu and me and our parents. That's more than enough",he said.
"But",she tried to talk but he closed Aadhu's eyes with one hand and pecked her lips softly and moved away.
"Peek a boo baby",he said and Aadhu looked at him suspiciously.
Aadhira's mind voice : Dada is suspicious, he never says peek a boo to me. It's always amma who says peek a boo. What did they do?
"I'll prepare dinner",Sri says.
"You got an off from kitchen and daily duties for the next five days, ma'am. I would be glad if you would use the free time productively like romancing with your husband etc",he said and she hit on his shoulders gently.
"What are you talking in front of Aadhira? First of all she is learning to speak everything that you speak",Sri says and hits her head with her hand.
"Fine fine, I won't! But listen, What do you want to eat?",he asked.
"Why don't we ask Ishu? I think she did not like the lunch also, she ordered and ate. We should treat our guest well right?",she said and Ram let out a sigh.
"Fine, if you insist. But I am sure she would do something which will make you feel uncomfortable",he said.
"Let her be Ram garu, she came away from her family. She must be missing them",she tried to convince him.
In the meantime our dad's little princess spilled all the milk on her dress and started making weird sounds.
"Oh my gosh! Look at your dear daughter. Aadhuuuuu",Sri was annoyed and considering her mood swings Aadhu made a puppy face ready.
"Ayo, let it be Sri! I'll clean it up and change her dress. Why don't you take a nap?",he said and she nodded no.
"I'll do, you're already doing the dinner part. Moreover I don't feel sleepy, I'll talk to Ridhi",she said and he nodded.
"Ridhhiiuiii cwalll",she squealed once again.
"Yes, yes my dear mother. We'll disturb your bestie come",she scooped Aadhu in her arms and went to the room.
"Also evandi, call me if you need any help. Okay?",she said and he nodded trying not to blush.
Both the mother daughter duo sat on the bed and Aadhira was impatiently waiting to hear her bestie's voice. It was around six thirty in the evening and by then Ridhi's office would get over.
Ridhi and Vishal work in the same company. Ridhi is the HR and Vishal is the senior manager.
Aadhira's mind voice : Dada, I want Dada to be here. Amma is here and bestie will call too but what if that woman tries to boo boo Dada and take him away? No way! Aadhu put your brain to work.
Aadhira started crying and she was trying to jump out of the bed. No matter how much Sri tried to handle her it was becoming hard. She scooped her back into her arms and went to the kitchen to see her handsome husband in his kitchen wear and looking even more breath taking.
"Hayee, how did I get so lucky to get you as my husband?",Sri thought internally.
She took her phone and sat on the dining table. Aadhira saw her Dada in the kitchen and became calm.
"Cawlll Ridhhiiii",she yelled again gaining attention of Ram.
"Oh my, look at her. Just when I was about to call Ridhi she threw a tantrum and now when I came here she is shouting at me",Sri gasped while Ram chuckled at the mother and daughter duo.
They were matching now, a baby pink night wear that they bought last time for the three of them it says mamma bear and baby bear and dadda bear on it.
"I am calling ouh, don't poke me with your nails. Oh gosh, I need to trim your nails. No wonder if I leave you like this you'll kill me with those nails",she said and Ram broke out into fits of laughter.
"Why are you laughing Ram garu? Just look at her nails my gosh. Today is Monday only I can trim your nails you baby Aadhu",she said.
"Sri, you're like the typical indian mothers sometimes",he says and laughs while Aadhira giggles too.
"You both always corner me. Nobody is in my party. I should get my athaya garu and mavayya garu ( mother in law and father in law) back home",she says.
Aadhira's mind voice : Does my amma has short term memory loss? I've been yelling for hours to call my bestie and still she isn't calling her. Oh god what am I going to do with my amma?
Sri calls Ridhi and Ridhi answers it after four rings.
"Hello bestiesss",she shouts from the other side but doesn't hear any response from the other side of the call.
"Aadhu baby? Sri?",she tries her luck once again.
"Ridhi, I am sorry for that day. I'll make it up to you and Vishal soon and yeah your besties are angry with you",Ram said placing the cerlac on the dining table.
"Oh c'mon Ram annaya! We totally understand you and neither Vishal nor I minded about it. Oh my freaking goodness why are they angry on me?",she asked.
"Ridhiiiiiiii youl no talku I amma angly youl folgol me amma",Aadhu shouts.
"Omg omg, I'm sorry besties. Tell me how do I make it up to you?",she asks.
"Choooo mannyy loys fol me and choo mannyy hugs fol amma",Aadhu said.
"That's absolutely right, keep that aside. How are you Ridhi? How's Vishal? How's office? Are you too busy? Did we disturb you?",Sri bombarded her with questions.
"I am good, Vishal is good. Kind of busy not too much. No you didn't. Is that all the questions you asked or did I miss something? Oh gosh so many questions you ask",Ridhi hit her head and that's when Vishal came to her.
"How's my bangaram doing?",he asked addressing Aadhu.
After Ridhi, Vishal is Aadhu's favorite. She squeals whenever she hears him call her bangaram.
"Eeeeee, Visu mayyaa(uncle)",she was excited.
Hearing all this, Ishu comes out of her room.
"Won't you all let me talk to my friend in peace? Why do you have to shout for everything?",Ishu said in a harsh tone.
"We're talking to our friends too Ishu",Sri said.
"Yeah, what else do I expect from such people, bloody low class you and bloody low class friends",she said.
Aadhu was seriously watching everything that was going on. Ram came from the kitchen to see them standing loggerhead with each other, just then the door bell rings..
