" And he was like, that's fucking crazy why would you drain a sunny side up egg? And I was like well, sorry I aint no chef I thought the holes were designs!" Sheila ranted on the phone as I prepared breakfast.
I don't know why, but humans... specifically woman tend to have very strange mood swings.
"Well...I would've had the exact same reaction, like..who on earth doesn't know what a drain looks like" I deadpanded causing her to groan on the other side of the phone.

"See?? This is why I hate men, they're so inconsiderate" She huffed on the other line making me roll my eyes.
She drained a fried egg...and now it's our fault?
"Whatever floats your boat" I said as I placed the bacons and rice on the table.
My pup has apparently grew fond of rice, I don't know why neither but he just did. His taste in food is exactly like Damon's.
"Uhm dad.." A familiar tiny voice said causing me to smile warmly as I turned around only to be greeted by a..guilty looking Keith.
Jamie: What on earth did this kid do this time? My wolf said all too knowingly causing me to roll my eyes.

"Uhm..I-I did something bad today" He said causing me to smile as I gestured for him to come near me.

"Uhm otay but promise don't be mad" He said seriously causing me to start panicking.
What if he burned something again?

" Uhm..it's fine okay? Stop crying honey, where's the cat?" I asked causing him to sniffle.
"I burried it in the backyard" he said causing me to smile as I kissed his forehead.
My poor child has been robbed off his childhood, hunting, is suppose to be something that pups do at his age, but..he can't do that here and has to constantly repress his animal urges.
"Good, always remember that if you accidentally killed something again, bury it okay?" I can't look after him 24/7 seeing as I also need to go to my job to provide for him.
Life is quite hard here in the human realm.
He can't repress his animal instincs for too long, so all I can do is teach him how to clean up after his mess.
"So Keith did a good job?" He asked hopefully causing me to laugh as I patted his head gently.
"Yes, Keith did a very good job" I replied causing him to grin as he ran towards the kitchen.
I sighed long and hard as I opened my wallet, I only have a few dollars left, my boss probably won't be kind again to give me an advance salary.
Will this even last us a week?
" Dad let's eat!" My kid yelled causing me to smile brightly at him.
"Go ahead and eat it all honey, dad already ate" I said causing him to cheer happily seeing that he's able to eat so many food again for the first time this month.
Jamie: Theo, you haven't eaten for two days now just go eat with him .My wolf said in concern causing me to chuckle internally.
I'm fine, he's a growing pup, a..growing werewolf at that, the food that I've set on that table isn't even enough to be called a meal for kids like him- I said causing Jamie to look at me in concern.
Jamie: still..you're a growing were wolf too. I can hunt for you He said causing me to chuckle.
Jamie I really am fine, you haunted last month as well and look where that got you- I replied, I couldn't transform for two weeks after that incident.
We didn't have enough money that time too so we resorted to haunting, but Jamie isn't as strong as before after..the bond broke.
He needs at least two weeks of regeneration seeing as the human world isn't our natural habitat.
As long as Keith gets to eat I'm more than satisfied - I replied causing Jamie to sigh in defeat.

"Thank you, do please come again!" I said cheerfully as the kind costumers left leaving me sighing tiredly at the cashier counter.

" W-what if we never find him Damon?" Ethan cried causing me to sigh as I comforted my wailing mate.
" We will don't worry-"
"Alpha sorry for the interruption but I have news on where he might be" My beta, Francis said.
"W-where is he?! Where's my son?!" Ethan yelled in desperation causing me to grab him by the wrist engulfing him in a comforting hug.
We found out a few years ago that Ethan could not bare a child because..he was a dominant omega, it was quite a shock for the pack seeing how rare it is for his kind to exist.
And the fucking elders suggested that we should have a surrogate child, so that the pack could have it's own heir.
Tristan, our surrogate child ran away after we fought last week. It was during his training and I admit it was my fault for hiring a mentor instead of teaching him myself.
I was just so busy with pack matters after I, the new Cresent Pack's alpha had desposed of the elders.
That's right, modern problems needs modern solutions, I can't have old hags making decisions of what's good and not for my pack.
I'll never forgive them for what they did to me 7 years ago.
During that night when we broke our bond with Theo, his wolf took full control of his body and didn't spare any of us a glance as he ran away.
