Chapter 7 (Wei Ying captured bandits)
Xing hesitated and then back half a step..
"T-This, this....." Xing was a little afraid to speak
Wei Ying got impatience and asks
"Don't this and that, tell me!" straight instructions and Xing had to obey
Xing bows his head and speaks only to Wei Ying
"I heard they are discussing your marriage..." Xing told Wei Ying
Wei Ying froze......
Wei Ying pulsed his lips and looks at Xing with a cold look, it is so murderous that it is full of a deadly aura, and the red shadow guards are very quick to sense the direction of the wind in the mood swing of the crown prince, this is especially so for Xing who has been with Wei Ying for many years. The atmosphere of the joy of capturing those prey to benefit these orphanages seems to lose its joy. All the shadow guards have their heads down, those that are doing and loading the prey continue to work really hard as they were worried that they might entangle the crown prince. Xing sense the temperature change, he even felt that the sky becomes gloomy and the birds that are chirping happily seem to stop.
The crown prince did not speak and everyone seems to freeze in time, Wei Ying is definitely angry as he doesn't believe in the feudal system of so-called alliance marriage to strengthen the country. It is not like he didn't have any proposal, in fact, it has been so many that he officially declared that he will not get married until he is twenty-one. However, he was just past twenty-one and he felt regretful about his declaration, he should have said that he will not get married until he is forty........
Wei Ying make the declaration when he was only seventeen and was quite happy that it gave him a few years of hassle-free life, but now that he had reached the age, he knew how many people from the office had approached his father, who doesn't want to marry the future Emperor and becomes the next powerful person such as the Empress. Wei Ying is not reconciled that he has a high status and yet he was being pressurized.
However, Wei Ying knew how much his parent loves him and usually will not do anything to make him unhappy but why this topic of his marriage popped up......
Wei Ying cooled off and asks Xing
"Where did you hear this matter?" the tone is not pleasant and it carries some anger.
Xing is really in a difficult position, he felt himself walking on eggshells as 'marriage' to his young crown prince is a very sensitive topic.
"I-I um... from the servants and might not even be true....." Xing tried to minimize the topic so that his crown prince will not be angry but instead.....
"What!"
"How long have you been in the palace you know that those servants' words usually carry at least 70 percent true because they all have dog ears, which they will extend and listen" Wei Ying snorted at Xing
Xing is now slightly trembling and in his heart
"I am trying to comfort you ma..."
Wei Ying didn't take the face value Xing and he jumped onto the horse "White Snow" and pats "White Snow"
"Run so that they cannot catch up....." the prince glared at Xing
Xing is now sweating a lot and he knew his prince's temper, when he is angry, he will ride his horse as if horse and man are in one and they will fly with the wind
"How can he catch up?"
Wei Ying gives a hard pat on his horse and shouted
"GO!" the four hooves of the horse steps a few times and make a "Hewwwww......" sound while Xing is running towards his horse and shouted at the remaining red palace guards
"Get onto you horse..."
"Don't stand around stupid....." the lead palace guard trembles and before anyone can do anything, the beautiful white horse with the handsome owner has already cut through the wind, leaving the team of bodyguards following in pursuit with all they can.
Xing and the palace guard tried to squint their eyes to look out for the crown prince and they all knew his temper, with such a hot temperament, White Snow and the prince will disappear in no time.
The crown prince was riding the horse wildly and his mind is full of those feudal marriages that he hated most. He has cousins and others, He understands marriage alliance and he will never submit to one. Somehow, although, this is ancient times, he saw the loving relationship between his father and mother, and he always envied it in his heart. His emperor father official fight for his mother whose beauty spread throughout half the world. His emperor father has been devoted till this day even though he is a great emperor, Wei Ying can see the respect and love for each other. Even when Wei Ying was as young as ten years old, due to his many marital arts teachers, he had profound hearings and he could hear those greedy officials and other nations' Emperors and Lords, trying all ways to send in their daughters and relatives to the then young emperor which is his father. His father even was drugged accidentally once, and the clever twelve years old Wei Ying, hurriedly told the red shadow guards and guard his father towards his mother and saved this loving marriage.
Wei Ying is clever and intelligent to the bones, he has sharp eyes and deep thoughts, and he seems to be able to sense the facial expression when others lied and tell false information, this is why he is so valuable in the heart of his parents.
Riding in the cool wind always helps him to think and it is the sanity time that he needed but that doesn't mean that he is not alert, he had passed by a thick and dense forestry area. Wei Ying notices some movement in the far shrubs and trees that were not the natural or normal kind of nature, His blood boils instantly and he knew that this could be some bandits hoping to catch some fat lamb for money.
"You come at the wrong time...."
"Too bad for your guys..." Wei Ying welcome some people for him to vent his anger and thus he secretly had s smirk on his handsome face.
The crown prince and his horse gallops faster and faster until they reach an area where it is an open field full of bamboo, the bamboos are all tall and slim, the sun penetrated through and it is quite bright. The people that follow him seem to be in the team, with his fast horse, they should not be able to follow him but Wei Ying senses some movements on the tall branches of the bamboo.
The crown prince begins to pat his horse and whisper
"Walk slowly, like you are tired and weak....." Wei Ying told his horse, their bonding is impeccable, they have been together for many years and their understanding of each other is amazing.
Thus, Wei Ying pretends to sway his body looking weak and tired, the horse moves slowly and suddenly there are some bodies wearing green flies down the bamboo.
Their movements were swift and fast like they are skilled and prepared, very coordinated, and has a pattern of attack, they were all wearing green suits so that they can blend in the forest but the head of the lead has a band over his head that is red in color.
Wei Ying stops and pretends to be fearful.
"W-Why are you all here for......I am a poor man...." the prince is someone who can learn to adjust his emotions.
The leader came forward and thinking that they caught a weakling and were laughing high and low
"Ha ha ha..... must be some useless wealthy man, run away from home...." the leader laughs as he walks slowly towards Wei Ying.
Of course, they knew he must be somehow rich, although he wore a dark suit the fabric is like fine silk with gold thread and even his belt carries a jade that would last lifetime earnings for a man.
After the leader comes nearer Wei Ying suddenly lifts up his head with his indifferent and cold look, he doesn't want to take advantage of people, after all, he is a "Jianghu" man as well, and he will never do anything despicable such as lying to the man and so with a strong voice, he told them
"I give you a chance to run or don't blame me......" Wei Ying warns them with a voice of a murderous aura.
The leader was actually a little shocked but still, he couldn't lose face in front of his men as he already laughed at Wei Ying, however, he is indeed a coward,
Immediately, the leader back up two steps when he saw Wei Ying's angry aura, he knew that this man is not normal as his "qi" is very high but still he ordered his men
"Attack!" the followers have to follow the command of the leader, they are bandits and swear by a blood oath, either they die here or they die when they go against the leader now and got punished.
So, the men were actually a little frightened, they have seen many battles before, but this young man's eyes were like sharp shining knives and before they could fight, they feel like their feet has been stabbed. However as they stand together as a team, it seems to give them little courage and so they look at each other and nod, and then they are shouted together
"Attack!, Go!," everyone holds their knives and moves forward except the leader who stays behind and watched.
Wei Ying immediately spins onto his horse and took out his flute and begins to make a sound, but the song is so sad and then excited, it stirs their emotions very much and they all felt a bit confused.
Wei Ying knew that they were just bandits with low skills and so he took out a slim knife from his flute and then he flies up high and starts to attack those nearly twenty men.
The men just couldn't see where Wei Ying is coming from because he was too fast, once the knife leaves his flute, Wei Ying knew that it will return with the blood but today, is just not their day plus he is really angry and so his speed is faster than normal, he spins himself so fast that he is faster than an electric spinning and he just spins in between those men that all their shoulders and legs were cut by his knife, and because he was angry, the cut was deepening than usual ad all the men were just screaming for their lives
"Ahhhhh......"
"My hands...."
"My shoulder....."
"My legs........"
The bandits couldn't even find or sense the direction that Wei Ying came from but they were all injured and all groaning and crying, sitting on the floor, it is quite a scene to see twenty grown men sitting on the ground, hugging their legs and arms crying and begging for mercy.
The leader immediately drops his weapon and kowtows Wei Ying
"My blind eyes didn't see Taisun (Tarzan), please accept my apology" the leader begged on the floor and making Wei Ying more disgusted
The speed was too fast and a hand was chopped off from the bandit leader's body and then the scream was excruciating, and Wei Ying warn him.
"You have good hands and feet and you choose to rob in Wei Country" Wei Ying points his slim sword at him
Wei Ying then looks at him and told him with his gesture of putting his finger on his thin lips
"Don't make a sound anymore or I will chop off the other hand" immediately no one dares to make a sound, even those that were injured were all quiet.
The leader can only suffer his pain in silence but Wei Ying already used his qi to point to his body points to stop the bleeding, he doesn't want this man to bleed to death, he is not at the point to deserve death yet.
The leader suddenly looks back thinking that Wei Ying is not looking and then he did a little gesture of nodding his head.
At this moment, profound ears of Wei Ying had already heard the movement of another 10 men in the forest but that didn't scare him at all, thus, he took it leisurely the bandit's head thought that his skill isn't that high to know that another second attack is coming.
Suddenly, another group of ten men jumps out from the brush and attack Wei Ying in the formation of two, three, and then five when they came out of the brush.
Wei Ying just stands there calmly, as suddenly arrows fly through the bamboo trees and shoot the other bandits all on both legs, and these bandits all cry in tears and in fact roll around like little children crying non-stopped.
The red shadow guards with Xing in front had arrived, they are all great trackers and when they noticed the footsteps of men, they knew that there were bandits around all of them leave their horses not far away and using their light kungfu, they all flew around the trees and using their cape inside out into green color and try to attack them before the prince even raise his precious hand.
However, their horses were indeed no match for "White Snow" and they arrived a step behind when they were flying high up, they saw figures of men hiding in the brush to attack their prince and so with a hand signal from Xing, all of them kept their swords and use an arrow for the attack.
Xing also knew that the crown prince is not in good mood, so he instructed them to give those unlucky bandits one arrow each on the bandit's legs, usually, they will only attack one leg which will be enough for them to scream.
Immediately after the arrow attack, all the red shadow guards and Xing came forward and kneel down for their lateness
"Wang, we were sorry for being late" Xing kneeled on one leg and form his hand into an arch and a fist in front, he didn't dare to raise his head, he knew this crown prince through and through, he is indeed kind in his heart but he also has his nobility and temperament. Today's matter about his rumored marriage can trigger his anger and Xing knew that he is not in good mood today and so humbling forgiveness will be the best action for now.
Wei Ying pats his "White Snow" and looks at these men who have been following and protecting him, the rank of a crown prince is just below his Emperor father and his Empress mother, and thus the higher the status the more punishment these men will get if there are any injuries on the person they are protecting.
However, Wei Ying knew that this is not their fault, he is too fast for them, and he is not even injured if this case reaches his Empress mother, it will not only panic her but also punishment will impose of not being capable of protecting the crown prince well, however to Wei Ying, this kind of punishment is foolish and stupid. Wei Ying knew that with his own skill, his men is truly finding it hard to protect him, and looking at all of them kneeling, Wei Ying felt sorry for them and so he told them
"Today's matter cannot reach my mother's ears, understand!" Wei Ying gives them a roar but all the cold sweat on the bodyguards and Xing were suddenly warm, as they all knew the intention of the crown prince, he is hard on his mouth but had a kind heart, he doesn't want his own men to be punished.
All of them suddenly go on four and kowtow to the prince and said a word in unison
"YES WANG!" then hurriedly they all get up and gives those bandits medication to stop the bleeding and tie them up.
Wei Ying's eyes suddenly anger fury, pointing to those bandits whose ages are around the twenties to forties
"You are men with legs and arms and using bullying as a way of life is not acceptable in Wei Country" Wei Ying looks at them with disgust.
Then he told his bodyguards
"Take them all to the jail and using my name and told officers there to send them to the remote north where they will do hard labor for at least 5 years to reform....." Wei Ying told Xing as well as his red shadow guards.
All of them bow and answered the prince in unison,
"Yes, Wang" Wei Ying then climb onto his horse and looks at Xing
"Come with me and leave these to them...." Xing breathed relief air and hurriedly climbed onto his horse and follow the crown prince.
Wei Ying is heading back to the forest and he knew that if he comes back along with any bodyguard, his mother will fly into an outrage quite dramatic at times.
The tall and handsome crown prince rode not too fast with Xing and finally arrived at the gate of the palace, once the security saw that it is their crown prince, they all lift the gate door and bow in respect
"Welcome home Da Wang Ye" the security guards welcome the crown prince.
The tall and majestic prince with his long hair flying swiftly with the wind, sitting on his beautiful horse is a sight that looks like a painting never failed to amaze anyone, at the same time, at a distance, the daughter of his distant uncle looks at him maliciously and her nail almost bleed her other hands and in her mind, there is only one purpose in her life
"MUST MARRY THE CROWN PRINCE", even now closing her eyes, all she can think of is picturesque of the handsome crown prince riding his tall horse.
She was so stunned until her maid calls her
"Princess Lian, your Empress Dowager grandmother is this way...." the maid smiles as she can see how smitten her lady is by the crown prince.
Princess Lian shoot an angry eye at her maid and then flicked her head and told her
"Let's go...." although she is a princess her status is no match for the crown prince and would not dare to jump in front of him without an announcement.
The crown prince had sharp eyes and saw Princess Lian but he turns a blind eye to her, he has no interest in her at all. The servants took their horses and the crown prince is now walking with Xing toward his parent's palace.
Suddenly, thunder balls headed toward him like a rocket,
"Ge"
A girl around twelve jumps onto him and Wei Ying quickly catch her so that she doesn't fall
Wei Ying loves this girl very much, this is his little sister Princess Wei Hua and the girl buries her head onto his chest and suddenly starts drumming at him lightly
"Where have you been? huh," the little princess is definitely not happy with her brother leaving her.
Wei Ying looks at her adoringly but at the same time, he senses someone at the end of it
"Come out....." a boy of fourteen came out from the other building and called him
"Da Ge..." this little boy is his brother Wei Teng and he is fourteen years old.
The handsome boy who has some similar features to Wei Ying, as well as his sister Wei Hua, came out with pouted lips.
Wei Ying raised a brow and looks at his beloved brother
"Why such an ugly face?" Wei Ying asks his little brother
The little prince looks at his big brother whom he had such admiration and mumbles
"You didn't take me to the wood to hunt..." the pouty lips came back again
Wei Ying flicked his head and laughs
"Fifteen, I will take you....but only mother allows...." Wei Ying told the little boy
The boy lowers his head and signs
"Then, that will never happen..." the boy knew his Empress mother, she loves them too much...
Wei Ying encourages the boy
"Practice and strengthen your qi more, then maybe ....only maybe..." however, these words "maybe" is like magic to Wei Teng and he immediately nods his head hard and seems to have a strong flow of energy and told his tall and handsome brother
"I will work hard..." and he came forward to side hug his brother and then teases his little sister
"Come down, you are not a baby anymore..." Wei Teng snorts at his sister.
The little princess hugs tighter and refused to budge
"Ge, likes me the most, right Ge...." the little princess looks at his brother with the hope
Wei Ying truly loves this pair of Baobei and he rubs her head
"Yup, loves that you give me a headache, my little ancestor," he told his baby sister but princess Wei Hua just stick his tongue out to his brother and giggled with no intention to come down.
Prince Wei Teng got a little mad and he sticks his tongue out to his sister and now they starts a "Tongue Out" war, which makes Wei Ying shakes his head but he really enjoys these two live baobei and carried his sister and then with his little brother follows behind him all the way to their father's palace.

I had my jab and was having a fever and chill for the last two days.
Today is a public holiday and hope to get back to work tomorrow.
