I scrutinise the person standing infront just as they do to me instead I'm mentally deep diving my brain for any type of recognition as to who they are.
They have short black hair that hangs a little over their alluring brown eyes that just scream mystery a small slit is prominent across the corner of their right eyebrow.
They stand with a confident yet dangerous attitude that practically begs people to test them paired with a smug mischievous smirk always plasterd on their lips which I note has a small scar on the right along with their alluring eyes it's hard not to feel vulnerable.
They wear black ripped Jean's paired with a red hoodie underneath a black leather jacket their sleeves rolled up revealing spaced out tattoos that climb up their arms all the way up to a simple word neck tattoo that starts behind their right ear. Adorned on their person is a small silver chain with matching silver rings to finish the look.
All I can say for now Is that their hot like melt you into a puddle hot!
enough to make me feel
intimidated.
"Hails we doing these races or what?" Questions Faye clearly getting irritated waiting this brings me out my scrutinizing.
" god arent we impatient tonight yes my beautiful second in command we are" I reply back letting my irritation be known as I give her a deadpan stare.
Faye only rolls her eyes at me letting me know shes got the message.
I look up at the mystery person standing infront of me again.
"You and I will talk later" I tell them sternly pointing at there chest before turning away to go to fayes driver side on her car.
"Hey bella keep my helmet safe will you" I say cheerful to my friend placing my helmet on the seat beside her.
I get a simple mhm from bella who doesn't look up from the screen infront of her I take a quick glance seeing shes keeping an eye on police activity around the area.
"Thanks B" I thank her grateful somone had a smart idea.

TAYLORS POV

I look down at my chest where hailee had just poked still trying to come to terms with what happend.
I then hear a stiffled laugh come from beside me.
"What's so funny" I question faye my eyebrow cocked as my irritation bubbles.
"She..haha...she didnt even recognise you....hahahahah" faye stumbles out through wheezing laughs grabbing hold of my shoulder in support as she curls down to the floor.
I roll my eyes pissed off she has to rub salt in the wound.
That's when hailee reappears a few steps in front of me her back turned to the group.
"FIRST RACERS TO THE STREET" hailee announces through a megaphone repeatedly as she confidently walks through the crowd of cars towards the staring point.
That's when crowds and cars start to move all following after hailee to the street.
"We best follow after" Brian's says nodding his head in the direction hailee just went in.
I hold my hand out infront of me signifying him to lead the way which he does Stephanie , mason,cater and I trailing after him.

I make my way through the bustling crowd losing the group in turn as I attempt to get to the front.
Which I successfully do earning me a place in the front crowd behind the racing cars.
Hailee steps out the crowd and makes her way to her starting position in between the front of the cars racing.
I watch with intrest leant up against a lamppost beside me.
" I'm sure your all familiar with this street race but I'm gonna refresh your memories anyway" hailee starts her tone serious.
"This is a no lap race just a good old fashion drag race from this line in front of me to those railway tracks alll the way down there" she point to the blue chalk line and railway tracks that signify the start and end getting a rev of agreement from the drivers in front if her.
She let's a grin come to her face before continuing her speech.
"I dont wanna see any funny business am I understood just clean speed racing that means no nitrous" she points between the 2 racers as if shes telling off 2 naughty children.
"Are you ready" she ask the driver to her left ,her hand pointing whilst holding a radio at them a look of excitement on her face.
The driver flashes their lights in response.
"Are You ready" she questions the other driver.
They rev in response.
She brings up both her arms her hip cocked to the side a look of mischief on her face.
Both drivers ready themselves for the drop of her arms.
" GO" hailee bows letting her arms go down with her.
2 cars shoot past her sides making her hair move in that direction.
She raised her head her hair flipping to reveal a huge grin on it as she straighten herself back up.
She turns around one hand on her hip as she watches the cars go down the long stretch road.
She brings the radio up to her face speaking into as the drivers get closer to the end.
She nods as she responds to the other person on the end.
She turns back towards the crowd only to detor over to me.
" you race" she questions her eyes burning with passion as she Stares right into mine.
"Meh "i reply nonchalantly shrugging my shoulders.
She rolls her eyes at this letting out a sigh as she drags her hand through her mousey hair.
"Why what's it to you" I fire back my own question.
She looks back at me clear amusement on her face.
"Nothing just thought id ask" she hums out walking past me into the crowd.
I grab out to catch her arm.
She turns to me defence written in her body language.
"Let go of me" she growls in warning.
I immediately let go holding my hands up in surrender.
"Was only gonna ask to race but its cool" I breath out shifting my body to lean away from her.
She regards me with thoughtful eyes letting out a sigh.
"Follow me" she waves her hand to me signifying I follow.
I follow a few paces behind her.
We make our way back over to the group both Stephanie and brian are missing but mason and carter are back.

HAILEE POV

"FAYEEE" i call out as we get closer to the group.
"WHHAATT" faye replies as she walks towards me and the mystery person.
"You know you love me" I start puppy dog adorned on my face as I look at Faye who now stands infront of me.
"Do i though" faye mocks back laughing.
"I'm hurt" i laugh back in shock my hand on my chest.
I glance behind me to see the mystery person watching this interaction amusement written on their face.
"Anyway what do you want" faye ask me clear disinterest in her voice.
"Can I race your car" i plead my hands out in begging.
"Whyyy?" Faye questions looking quizzical between me and the person behind me.
I turn to the mystery person behind me and wrap my hands onto the side of their crossed ones their face morphing from amusement to questioning in a matter of seconds.
"I'm going to race them" I shake their arm rocking them slightly as I reply to my freind excitedly the brown eyed person looks down on me clear bewilderment as to what I am doing to them on their face.
"Annd why do you need my car to do it" faye once again questions her arms crossed over her chest and eyebrows knitted into confusion.
"Cus you have a muscle car and so do they sooo it make sense and anyway you know the rules I cant race my bike unless it's against another bike" I list out arguably.
"I suppooossse but I warn you break or damage my car and you will be paying ,replacing and installing those parts are we clear" faye laughs out but I know shes serious.
"Yay your the best" I let go of the arm I clutch onto hug my freind stepping away from the hug to retrive the keys she dangles infront of me.
I turn back to the person and look up at their brown eyes.
"You ready to lose" I say smugly my head cocked to the side.
The person lets out a small chuckle before stepping further into the small gap between us.
" you tell yourself that amour" they purr out close to my ear before walking away toward their car.
"In getting my ass kicked"i conclude swallowing the last of my pride.
