Note before we start everything that happened up until the first fight at the valley of the end happened when they were ten instead of twelve. Also Naruto's ADHD comes from my own version of it, so if anyone is offended sorry the best example of ADHD is my own.
/Naruto's POV/
A sound of birds chirping pierced through the air, but that was no lightning... no it was a Jutsu, a Jutsu sent in the intent to kill. The target?........me.
The sound of piercing flesh echoed, I let out a gasp of shock as blood shot out of my mouth.
Shock flowing through me as I looked at the person who did this, my best friend and brother in all but blood, Sasuke Uchiha.
Sasuke's face showed a neutral expression but his emotions gave him away he was also shocked.
We both looked down to see his left hand coated in lightning going through my heart.
Numbness took over my body as I fell limp the water surrounding me as my darkness took me over.
The last thing I saw was a regretful Uchiha, a single tear dropping on my face as I went under.
Sorry.... Sakura.... Granny Tsunade..... Pervy sage.... Kakashi sensei..... everyone.
I felt this weird feeling, it told me I was..... dead.

I wake up my eyes still closed but my other senses slowly working.
I was... laying? on something soft and warm, the air was warm, a smell of trees and honey was heavy in the air. I could feel the light casting on me.
Slowly I forced my eyes open, instantly shutting them as pain filled my eyes. I blinked the pain and blurriness fading after a few minutes.
The room was well lit, the orange curtains. The room itself was well in size, by no means small but wasn't to large it is about the same size as the classroom back at the academy. A dark wood ran from corner to corner on the top, bottom and up and down. The walls were painted a light tan colors with a giant swirl that is usually on Jonin jackets and my outfit. The floor was the same colored wood that was on the walls except in a plank form. Straight across the room from me was a door made up of the same wood with vine like patterns on it. The right side of the room there was a closet door.
The bed I was in was big, bigger than mine and far comfier, Oh my god! It's so comfy! I wonder how bouncy it is? NO NARUTO!!! Stay focused. The bed I think is a kings? Sasuke has one this size, it has orange sheets and a black and orange squared pattern comforter. There are six? Pillows three orange and three black, there is also one small blue throw pillow. The bed frame was the same colored wood. Next to it was a wooden bed table with a big lantern? It was a black metal circle at the bottom a black rod with bumps and the top was weird with this weird glass thing in the center, it was pulled towards me but pointing slightly down so it wasn't directly at me. The was a black and orange circle carpet that swirled laid out in the center of my room. The left wall had a huge window that was covered by two huge curtains, right in front of it is a strange table with another strange lantern, except it has these notebook things in a pile in the top right corner opposite of the strange lantern, and a cup full of pencils.
I looked around quickly, freaking out. That was until I found a small envelope by the strange lantern on the nightstand.
I picked it up with a shaky hand.
Naruto.
I looked shocked as this was written in a strange language that I've never seen before, yet I was reading it.... I'M READING IT!!!!
Surprise and excitement shot through me as I've always had trouble reading, it was always really hard for me! Not that I never tried, but I just couldn't make sense of the words as they flew off the pages and mixed together or twisted.
I was never able to fully read, it was because of that pretty much everyone including Sakura-Chan called me stupid, but I'm not!!
Iruka-Sensei, Kakashi-Sensei, Granny-Tsunade, gramps, and pervy Sage all said I was smart! And they weren't lying!!!! Which means that I am smart, oh I kinda have this strange ability where I can always tell when someone is lying to me.
Someone will lie to me and I go 'stop lying' they then say 'I'm not' which is another lie and I say 'yes you are my lie brain thing says so!!!!'

I shake my head to bring myself back together, that is another thing I'm naturally really energetic and it's hard to stay fully still, also I get sidetracked very easily!
I sigh as I open the letter.

If you are reading this then it means you have woken up. You don't know how happy I am that you are alive and well. That life in the village was never one I wanted you to have, I told them to treat you as the hero you are, but fear and anger will always over power common sense. I am sorry for sealing the nine tails within you... you were the only one who could handle the beast's major portion. You see the Kyuubi originally had a different name, it was a beast so powerful and fearsome the gods split it into nine different beings for information find the Greek myths mastery book on the bookshelf in the living room it's the dark blue one and you'll be able to read it.
Secondly, the world as you know it has gotten more dangerous and you don't have others to help you. There are monsters in this world that will do there best to kill you, your weapons as you'll notice are made out of a different material; a material called celestial bronze. Celestial bronze will kill monsters but are completely harmless to mortals which are normal humans. Humans are unable to see the monsters due to a force called the mist, it alters the perception of mortals so when they see something supernatural it becomes something natural that they can understand. This will also hide your abilities from mortals, there are however a few mortals capable of seeing past the mist. Trust your senses and abilities my son, and please be careful. And finally, you probably remember being killed by that Uchiha brat well you did die, you've been dead for three-hundred and eighty-two years.
My breath picks up and goes out of control, I felt tears pill up into my eyes and spill. My head playing memories of my life as it starts becoming light and fuzzy.
Memories start to rapidly flash before my eyes the bell test.

Yeah that's it, this has to be a stupid complex genjutsu! Yeah, me and Sasuke were probably in the finale of the chunin exam. He caught me in a genjutsu there was never an Orochimaru, we never got attacked in the second match, no cursed mark, Sasuke never left, I never died.
That's it!!!! Any moment know Sasuke will end the genjutsu and gloat about his victory with his stupid smug face. Sakura-Chan will cheer.
It has to be the truth... right? There is no way this is true?
Granny, Ero-Sannin, Kakashi-Sensei, Iruka-Sensei, anyone please help me.
Don't leave me here! I swear Ero-Sannin I'll start calling you Jiriya-Sensei! I'll be a better ninja and try harder but please don't leave me here!
My sobs shake through my body my voice, hoarse as if I hadn't used it in a while, hurt my throat.
My vision blurry as tears streamed down my face, my head getting lighter and lighter from the lack of oxygen.
Naruto please calm down and breath, this isn't good for you. I know this is difficult but it is the truth. I'm sorry, cry but please breath.
A kind voice said within my head.
I calmed down a little to get air back in my body but not enough to decrease the amount of tears falling down.
For the rest of the day and that night I cried and cried begging for help....... but it never came as this wasn't genjutsu.
