CHAPTER SIX
As Sae walked back to the suite, she hoped it would be empty and expected to see the girls fast asleep. But when she walked inside, she saw Musa sitting on the couch, a blanked draped over her legs. She quietly greeted her and walked towards the bathroom door.
"Why are you embarrassed?", Musa asked lowering her headphones, her eyes glowing purple. Sae looked over at her, desperation written all over her face. Musa instantly tapped the place next to her, and Sae walked over, plopping down beside her.
"I am, officially, a dumbass.", Sae muttered. She didn't get it really, why she felt like this suddenly. She felt stupid for feeling embarrassed over such a stupid thing, when Riven probably didn't even care. She nintey-nine percent sure he wasn't even listening to her.
"Wanna talk about it?", Sae thought about, if she wanted to tell her. But the guilt seared in her stomach. It's been only a few days and the girls were nothing but nice to her, yet she always managed to avoid them whenever she could, without it being noticeable. She doesn't want them to get too close.
She shakes her head no and Musa nods as she puts her hand around her shoulders, easing her off. Sae almost instantly felt the tension leaving her body, her mind relaxing. It's like she wasn't worried, scared or anxious anymore.
Her nostrils flared when she noticed, Musa tensing up beside her. "Get out of my head.", she said, her voice quiet but steady. She knew she didnt have to voice it out for Musa to feel her anger.
Musa opens her mouth but Sae cuts her off just by one look in her direction. With still purple glowing eyes, Musa stands up after Sae and follows her closely.
"Wait, Sae. I just - I felt how you feel and - and I couldn't just sit here knowing I can help and do nothing. "
"I never asked for your help."
"But, your emotions were so strong. I never felt something.like that. And the fact I can enter easily sense what you're feeling. I just thought -" she cuts her off "You thought nothing. That's the problem. You don't think.", Sae muttered, pointing an accusing finger at her.
Musa shut her mouth and Sae turns around and left to go to the bathroom. She doesn't know what came over her, to get so angry with Musa.
She just couldn't let her in, and the fact Musa could get inside her mind that easily, scared her. She doesn't want someone to feel what she feels. She doesn't want them to know.
She didn't bother to apologise as much as she wanted to, but she knew Musa could feel the guilt.

It's been a a bit more than a week since the whole lost ring fiasco, and Sae managed to keep away from everyone. She would talk with Stella and Sky here and there but she mostly kept to herself.
So she was nervous as she sat with Stella on the bench as she typed away on her phone. Her eyes were trained on the boys in front of her on the podium training.
She could see Silva come up and say something, it didn't take long for Riven to win. Sae couldn't say she was surprised, she knew he was good, but just the same she knew Sky was better last year.
They talked with each other as they made their way over to us. "What do you think Stel?", Sky asks as he reaches for his bottle, she keeps her eyes trained on him. But she still kept up with every step he made.
He took the water bottle that was next to her, he sat down beside her and took a big gulp out of it.
Stella looked up from her phone, finally. "About what?", Sae elbowed her and rolled her eyes at her friend. She doesn't remember Stella being such a bitch last year. Or maybe she just didn't care.
"Silva. How does he look to you?", Stella ignored her friend. "Fine." Hse looks back at her phone. "Dr. Stella coming through with zero-effort diagnosis.", as Riven said that he looked at Sae with the corner of his eye, waiting for her reaction. When he saw her stiffen a laugh, he couldn't help but smile as he took another gulp of water.
"He's gonna be okay, Sky.", Sae said touching Sky's shoulder behind Stella, and he looked at her gratefully. But Stella didn't get the memo. "Are you training later, or are we hanging out before the party?" This time Sae rolls her eyes, not caring if her friend saw or not.
"Sky?" - "Hmm?" - "He's fine. Professor Harvey's still has him on Zanbaq, right?", The question itself wasn't bad, but the way she said it was. Even Sae felt annoyance bubbling inside her, so she says "That manages his symptoms."
Sky ergo ti Sae, was visibly annoyed. "He won't get better until they kill the burned one that attacked him." - "And there are people looking for it. It's not gonna get away from mevery fairy or specialist in the Otherworld.", she looks to her left where both Sae and Ricen gave her the same look, that clearly said What the fuck?
"We have class. Stop worrying.", Stella kissed Sky's cheek, git up and left without waiting for her friend to go with her.
Ricen sighs as Sae scoots away a little from him now that there's more space on the bench. "I know she's our friend, but why are you doing this to yourself?", Sae couldn't help herself, but ask.
Both boys ignored her as Riven concludes "She must be mond-blowing, right?", Sae looked at him incredulously. "Or does she do weird shit with her tongue?" Sae just kept looking at him as of he grew two heads. "Why are you looking at me like that? Do you do weird shit with your tongue?", at that she raised her eyebrows. "Oh, you wish you knew."
That's when Sky decided to but in. "Waht are you saying?", Riven smirks at Sae but still gives Sky an answer. "I'm trying to understand why the fuck did you start thing sup with her again.", Sae threw her hands, that's literally what she asked and they both ignored her.
"Like, she's crazy hot, yeah, but the emphasis on the crazy.", Sae felt weird, hearing Riven talking about a girl like that, but she brushed it off by it being her friend. "I thought you like dthem crazy?", she gave him a look, her smirk plastered on her face. Riven pushed her shoulder a little, as she leaned away.
Then suddenly, it's like Riven had a revealtion. His whole face lifted up as he said. "It's butt stuff."', a teasing smile grew on his face and Sae couldn't help but laugh at this. "She let's you do butt stuff!", he exclaimed again. Sae leaned back, holding herself by the bench as she laughed even harder.
"Shut up, Riven!", Sky huffed, clearly annoyed as he pushed his friend with his free hand. Riven instinctively reached to grab the nearest thing, which was, unfortunately, Sae's hand. Sae didn't expect it, so he pulled her down with him.
Riven fell on the floor, but Sae stayed in an awkward position, almost like laying on the bench, her hand outstretched to Riven as he still held on to her. They both chuckled as they got up, Sae pulling Riven up. They both sat back down. But this time closer. Their shoulders and hands touching.
"Look, I would blame her for your shit sparring last week, but... I know you and Silva are close. I'm.. We're about if you ever wanna like.. ", he looked at his friend for support as he struggled to finish his sentence. But he didn't need to, Sky got up from his seat. "Um...I've gotta run, ok?"
They both watched their friend walk away, neither said anything. Sae was confused as to what the hell just happened. It wasn't like Sky at all.
But Riven, Riven felt guilty, he didn't even know why. But he just couldn't look at his best friend like this anymore. He tried to be himself, get his mood up with his jokes, when it didn't work he offered to talk - which he hates and never does. And Sky flat out ignored him.
"So, I take it you're into butt stuff?", Sae comments after a while, Riven couldn't hide his shock as he looked at her, she just kept looking straight ahead. "Maybe. I never tried. Are you offering?", he was quick to come up with a comeback. And Sae liked that about him.
"Only in your dreams.", she scoffs, even without seeing his face she knew he was smirking right now. "Every night.", he answered her. She rolls her eyes, for maybe the millionth time today. She rolls her eyes a lot when she's around him.
"Hmm, am I at least good? In your dreams I mean.", she asks. "I know I'm good.", she adds now smirking herself. "Confident, are we?", Rivnes eyes glowed with playfulness, but he wouldn't mind proving that theory.
"Mhmm", she humms, chuckling slightly. He lowers his head a bit, as he's a little taller than her, and leans to her ear. "Wouldn't know about thay. But I can show you what I do to you in my dreams.", his voice came out raspy, his hot breath faning her ear as he whispered the words.
"Do you have insomnia?", she asks, acting curious, not really waiting for an answer. "Your dreams must be short.", she giggles at her own joke and he watches her amused. "Don't you have a class to be at?", that got her attention, she hit him with the back of her hand on his chest as she got up.
"I'll see you at the party, yeah?", Riven called after her as she walked away, she made a 369° holding her thumbs up as an answer.

Sae hated feeling like this. Not just because she didn't understand it, but because she didn't want to feel these things.
She felt the bad kind of butterflies in her stomach as her eyes followed, Riven who had his hand over Beatrix' shoulders. She couldn't see much, as their backs were turned to her, but she was certain they shared an apple.
"Why are you jelaous?", Musa also, amused by her green eyed friend. She tried looking at whatever she was looking at but whatever it was it was gone. Sae glared at the mind fairy. "Thought I told you to get ou of my head.", her words came out soft, she wasn't mad at her. Not really.
Did it bother her that she could know whatever she was feeling at the moment - yes. But she wasn't mad. "Who'd I be jelaous of?", she gave her a rethoricall question but Musa still responded. "I don't know, you tell me." Sae ignored her and kept eating her food.
Terra walked up to them, placing her tray of food on the table. "They're sharing an apple. That's so weird." The feeling came back, she could only describe it as jelaousy, now that Musa felt it too. But she didn't want to admit it to herself. Musa just looked at her curiously and Sae looked at her then at the boy that just walked into the room, which Sae knew was Terra's brother, than back at her.
Musa's eyes almost fell out of their sockets at that, and Sae stufelled a laugh. It was clear what she meant. You start asking me, I'll start asking you. So they left it at this.
