Som's POV
"Som why do I always have to run after you?" P' Time asked
"And you are tired now?" I asked. And rolled my eyes.
"I am not." He said.
"Let's go na" I said
"Where are we going?" He asked
"Aw are you not gonna take me home?" I asked.
He combed his hair.
"P' you can stop doing this if it is uncomfortable for you." I said.
He sighed.
"Som. I am sorry if sometimes I can't read what you imply na. But I am really trying.
I am clueless. But help me na." He said softly
At least he is being honest
I wanna ask him if it is his first time to date? But that would be awkward for me.
"Well... This is my first time to chase a girl.... It is always them asking me." He said.
I rolled my eyes.
"I stopped fooling around na last year when I saw you." He added quickly.
P' Nuea and P' Sky also said those. How do I know we'll Toh and Jao told us.
But did thay talk to each other and they will tell those things so he they can fool us?
And my friends why are they having this hard time to trust these ps. Well I understand Toh. Because of Van Gough but Jao and Daisy.
"Som" p' Time called out.
"Are you still with me?" He asked.
We are now in the road that I did not noticed.
"Sorry I am just thinking." I said
"Of your friends?" He asked.
I nod my head and looked outside the window.
"That is why I liked you more. You are like a mother to them. I wanna be taken care of the way do to them." P' Time said.
"P' since first year. Toh have a crush on his p' Red. And I promised myself I will never have someone unless Toh have his." I said.
"What Toh have his p' Red?" He asked sand stepped on the break.
"P' Time!" I wanna scold him. But it will not help his driving.
He then slowly get back on tract. Good thing the car that follows us are still far.
"What shocked you?" I asked.
"P' Nuea have his Van Gough." I said loud.
"You don't have to worry about Van Gough na." p' Time smirked
"Som. But really I ma serious of hitting on you" he said it again.
"Toh is not my only child." I said smiling.
"Aw Jao and Daisy." He said sadly.
"Specially Daisy." I said.
He sighed.
"Are you still willing?" I asked.
He sighed.
"I can be your nong friend na." I said.
"Will you help me set their dates?" I asked.
"At least I have time with you and we can eat while planning their dates and set ups." He said a bit cheers up.
"That would be like I am dating you also." He added.
The truth is yeah that would be fun.
"But you are really clever stealing Jao's keys." He said proudly.
"And I am not giving it back till the right time come." I said and locked his motorbike keys on my keychain inside my school bag.
"What p'Sky score with Jao?" He asked.
"Why you wanna know?" I asked suspiciously.
"Well look at it this way. So I know how to help na. But promise I won't tell Sky " he said.
"Simple. P' Sky must be consistent. Jao is not hard to please. But it's hard to gain his trust." I said it. Sorry Jao. But you'll never know unless you try.
Sometimes Jao is over thinker. Thinks of things that are not yet done. Or thinks to come. And what makes it worse is he thinks exaggeratedly.
That his result sometimes is the opposite of the yet to come. His is always negative
Jao have this insecurity that if P' Sky can fill it up. Then he might have.. no.. not might... He will have a big chance.
P'Time sighed.
We stopped we are in front of my dorm. The ladies dorm.
"Thank you so much p' Time na." I said.
I hugged my bag and get down from the car.
I leaned a bit and looked at p' Time
"I don't have ride tomorrow p' my class is 8:00." I said.
I can see his happy smile. Now.
"Then I will be here 7:30" he said.
I smiled and closed the door and walked to my dorm without looking back.
P'Time is not bad actually I just have this promise to myself.
Can he wait?
Wait I'd not invite him for dinner?.
I don't have his number?
Why would I invite him for dinner?
Well he send me back safe.
But I do not have budget for it.
I am hungry.
"Mung I'm hungry!" I sent it.
"Aw... But your dorm is too far from me." Jao said
"If you have not stolen my keys I can give you food" he added.
"Sorry na Jao I have to" I send it.
"Som are you in your dorm?" Toh asked.
"Yup where would I be?" I asked
"Okay can you hold your hunger na. P' Nuea Andi will send you food na." Toh replied.
"Ohow!" Daisy teased Toh
But Toh is now off line.
"You teased him too much na Daisy" Jao texted.
"Where are you by the way?" I asked.
"I'm cooking Ramen."Daisy replied.
"Ramen?" Jao asked he send us picture of P'Touch eating and him selfie cooking at the street foods corner.
"That makes me hungry." O said.
Then all of the. Offline.
Yeah soon p' Time.
When these three got Thier man.
I still wonder why he said not to worry about Van Gough.
Is p' Nuea ding for Toh only?
But I am really hungry.
Then Toh texted my private number.
"Come down quickly at the lobby."
With my house clothes.
Long loose shirt and shorts and my fluffy slippers
Hair tied up on a messy bun.
I stopped.
When i saw Toh and who he is with.
Toh waved at me and get on the car. But the person he is with walks towards me.
"P'Touch" I just said.
"You should have told me you where hungry we should had our dinner first." He said.
"Som the visitors dinning is empty na." One of the dorm mates said.
We are not allowed to bring food on the dorm that is why we have dinner tables and visitors dinner and a huge canteen across.
I waiid at the senior.
And I lead p' Time to the place
We chose the table for three.
"Why so many foods?" I asked.
"I met Toh and Nuea on a restaurant on my way back. And Toh asked me if I already send you back and I said yes. He gave me this." Pointed at a bowl of bibimbap. Toh is really knows my taste.
"So I choose these" p' placed Kimchi. Rice. Stirred fried chicken meat. Meatballs on sauce in a bowl
Chicken soup and vegetables.
"Som don't be shy to tell me when you get hungry na. I'll feed you." He said.
"I am a bulk eater" I said.
"I know. But I can feed you" he said and winked.
We eat.
Feast for me.
