Duke and Duchess of Norfolk
Lord John Howard becomes Duke of Norfolk in 1483 beside him is Lady Margaret, his second wife, as when he married Lady Catharine De Moleyns he wasn't yet Duke of Norfolk, but when he became Duke, his son, Lord Thomas received the Earl of Surrey.
When his son became Duke of Norfolk, his first wife, Lady Elizabeth was only Countess of Surrey, but when she died he remarried her cousin, Lady Agnes in 1479 and when he becomes Duke of Norfolk on February 1, 1514 he is created Duke of Norfolk and his second wife, Lady Agnes become Duchess of Norfolk with her cousin, but his son, Lord Thomas becomes Earl of Surrey.
It was a great honor for Lord John Howard to become Duke of Norfolk in the third creation as the first creation died off when his grandfather lack male heirs, the second was invalid as it was given to his nephew, Prince Richard, Duke of York when he married Lady Anne de Mowbray, Duchess of Norfolk and she died when she was ten years old.
Lord John Howard was the grandson of Lord Thomas de Mowbray through his second daughter, Lady Margaret as his eldest daughter, Lady Elizabeth de Mowbray only had three daughters by her husband, Lord Michael de la Pole, 3rd Earl of Suffolk and they had only three daughters,Catherine de la Pole (born 6 May 1410), nun at Bruisyard

Sir Maurice de Berkeley VI, Lord Berkeley (c. 1435 - 1 September 1506), who was married to Isabel Meade, daughter of merchant Phillip Meade and his wife Isabel, in 1465 and had issue.
Thomas de Berkeley, Esquire (b. 1435 - d. 1484), who married Margaret Guy, and had issue.
Isabel de Berkeley (b. 1438 - d. 1482) but Lady Margaret was older than Lady Isabel, and he was loyal to King Edward IV and King Richard III and he was the oldest grandson of Lord Thomas de Mowbray and in 1483, King Richard conferred the Dukedom of Norfolk on Lord John Howard.
Lord John Howard became Duke of Norfolk at the age of 58 and he wouldn't be Duke but for two year before he would die in single hand combat with Sir John Savage on the Battle of Bosworth field, and then his family would lose Norfolk until King Henry VIII when his son, Lord Thomas would be created Duke of Norfolk on February 1, 1516.
Lord John Howard with his wife, Lady Margaret stand proudly in the Court of Hampton Palace with King Richard III and Queen Anne and by their side is Lady Elizabeth, Lady Cecily, Lady Mary, Lady Catherine and Lady Bridget, his nieces, and in the background Lady Margaret Beaufort and her her third husband, Lord Thomas Stanley, who would be like Judas Iscariot in the Bible, who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.
Lord Thomas Stanley's nephew,Sir John Savage would be responsible for killing Lord John Howard and Lord Walter Devereux, and Lord Thomas Stanley was married to Lady Margaret Beaufort as her third husband would be the one who places the crown of St. Edward on top of Henry Tudor head.
Henry Tudor didn't think so as he only left one son behind, and through him Lord John Howard's only son, Lord Thomas would become Duke of Norfolk in 1516 for being loyal to King Henry VIII.
The Howards, The Carey's and The Devereux would be connected through their marriages between their children, Henry VIII would marry two of Lord John Howard's great-granddaughters, Lady Anne Boleyn and Lady Katheryn Howard but both he would execute, but Queen Anne would leave behind her daughter, Princess Elizabeth.
Lord John Howard's great-granddaughter, Lady Mary Boleyn would marry Lord William Carey and through their children, Lady Catherine Carey she would marry Lord Francis Knolly and they would have a daughter Lady Lettice Knolly who would marry Lord Walter Devereux and they would have a son, Lord Robert Devereux 2nd Earl of Essex.
Lord Henry Carey, Baron Hudson would marry Lady Anne Morgan and their daughter, Lady Catherine Carey would marry Lord Charles Howard and Lord Robert Devereux, Earl of Essex would marry Lady Frances Walsingham who had their son, Robert Devereux who married Lady Frances Howard, who was the granddaughter of Thomas Howard, 4th Duke of Norfolk and his second wife, Margaret Audley, Duchess of Norfolk and they had no children, but she had one daughter name Lady Anne Carr.
Lady Matilda was only concerned about the fate of Lord John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk and she had traveled back in time to try to stop him from entering into the War of Roses, but in 1483, Lord John Howard even before he became Duke of Norfolk was loyal to The House of York.
How could Lady Matilda stop Lord John Howard fighting for the sovereign who created him Duke of Norfolk and whose family had always been loyal to the House of York.
Lady Matilda Carey looks at Lord John and Lady Margaret and she asks to be excused and she returns to the garden in Hampton Court Palace and she sings the song "Ode To A Lost Love."
"To never make you look at me the way you use to do
To never be allowed to look at you the way I do
I would do anything for just one more night with you
When there was a slight of hope that you could love me too, and
To never touch your face again as if your skin was mine
As if there was no shame or fear in any spoken line
To never feel your laughter flashing through those shattered bones
For just one second it made me feel as if they were my home
To never taste those lips again that felt so sweet and pure
A childishness, à flooding wave, water on the shore
The long-awaited cure, every mine is yours
Every mine was yours, but all of that no more
And you said you wished to fall in love because of how I sing
Because of how I smell, because of how I dream
Now what's left of me? Who the hell I am to be."
Lady Margaret is a jealous woman and she is jealous of every woman that looks at her husband and Lady Matilda knows it.
Lady Matilda knows that they live in the past and she lives in the future and her sole purpose is to try to change history if she can convince Lord John Howard not to enter into the Battle of Bosworth field.
Lady Matilda Carey keeps her distance and she serves Queen Anne, King Richard Queen and she is a favorite of Queen Anne's until she dies in 1485 of Tuberculosis.
Lady Matilda Carey remained in the Household of Lady Cecily Neville, the mother of King Edward IV and King Richard III until the coronation of King Henry VII of England on October 30, 1485.
Despite the desire of Queen Elizabeth of York asking Lady Matilda Carey to join her household as a lady-in-waiting she has to decline the offer as she has failed to accomplish her mission in preventing Lord John Howard, Duke of Norfolk from entering the Battle of Bosworth and on August 22,1485, Lord John Howard, Duke of Norfolk is killed by Sir John Savage along with Lord Walter Devereux and King Richard III.
Let's take note on What the Late Gene Roddenberry states "
From a distance
The world looks blue and green
And the snow capped mountains white
From a distance
The ocean meets the stream
And the eagle takes to flight
From a distance
There is harmony
And it echoes through the land
It's the voice of hope
It's the voice of peace
It's the voice of every man
From a distance
We all have enough
And no one is in need
And there are no guns
No bombs, and no disease
No hungry mouths to feed
From a distance
We are instruments
Marching in a common band
Playing songs of hope
Playing songs of peace
They are the songs of every man
God is watching us
God is watching us
God is watching us
From a distance
From a distance
You look like my friend
Even though we are at war
From a distance
I just cannot comprehend
What all this fighting's for
From a distance
There is harmony
And it echoes through the land
And it's the hope of hopes
It's the love of loves
It's the heart of every man
It's the hope of hopes
It's the love of loves
This is the song for every man
God is watching us
God is watching us
God is watching us
From a distance
Oh, God is watching us
God is watching
God is watching us
From a distance
