1 year time skip
"Hailee hailee get up now I've been poking you for 5 minutes now and u have not even acknowledged me get up or I wont drop you to school" my mum said in a hushed tone.
"Okay estúpido u asked for this" said my mum in a warning tone thats when I knew I was in for it.
(Translation: stupid)
"Corinne bring the water were going for the exorcist approach again" my mum sighed as she proceeds to yank my duvet off my head.
A few seconds later I'm soaked through laying in a water patch in my bed.
"Uggghhh" I roll over and open my eyes in order to glare at my smiling mother who held a jug in her hand.
"Oops" she laughed as she walked away from me.
"U have 10 minutes to be up dressed packed and have some type of food" she shouted as she descended the stairs.
I smile to myself and shouted back "yes mum I'll be there soon mantener tu pantalón en"
(Translation : keep your pants on )
"Dont sass me girl"my mother chided.
With one last sigh I fell out of my bed and made my way to my closet.
I decided to throw on a black long sleeve tshirt with a long grey shirt with my black ripped skinny Jean's and with my red converse.
Hair was pretty simple I just french braided it then added a quick swipe of mascara.
"Right where my did I end up dumping my bag"i mutterd to myself as I spun in a circle searching for said bag.
That's when I remember I flung my bag in the corner on the other side of my bed so being the lazy person I am I quickly stepped on my bed and over just to get to my bag.
I then rushed towards my desk and threw in my bags contents that littered the sides from my late night homework panic.
"Come on haille I have work"my mum called from the stairs once again.
"Mum I'm coming technically I still have 3 minutes left" I shouted out in annoyance.
"Right well hurry up still"my mum stated.
"And do your teeth"
I huffed out and made my way to the bathroom to clean my teeth and well do bathroom stuff.
I then ran down the stairs into the kitchen were u saw my aunt corinne making a pot of coffee.
"Morning la miel sleep well?"
(Translation: honey )
"Yeah great until I got water dumped on me have we got anymore cereal bars?"I questioned my aunt as I hung on the pantry door.
"Yeah top shelf to the right dont forget I'm on a work trip for this week so I wont be here when you get home your mothers also taken on a late night shift at the hospital so you have to make dinner for yourself tonight or I can get your mum to see if the torreto's will feed you?"my aunt listed as I grabbed a cereal bar.
"Yeah aunt rin ummm I dont mind, I gotta go mums getting impatient shes just text me to hurry up"i walked over to my aunt and gave her a hug.
"Bye aunt rin have good work trip and dont lose your laptop again love you" I called out as I left the kitchen towards the door.
"I will sweetheart you try and have good day at school dont forget your keys!" My aunt shouts out the kitchen to me.
I stop before the front door and retrieve my keys.
I open the door to be greeted with the blinding Los Angeles sun I groaned inwardly and got my sunglasses out my bag.
I then ran over to the drive where my mum waited in her white Nissan Silvia S13 with a BN Sports body kit I loved her car it suited her really well .
"U ready?"my mum questioned as I climbed into the passenger seat.
"Yeah all good aunt rin said u took on a late night tonight what time do u think you will be back?" I said to my mum as she started the ignition and pulled out our drive.
"Mhm I did umm I probably be back for 2 mabey 1 in the morning your probably going to have to find your own way to school tommorow" my mum said as she glanced at me with a smile.
"All good" I said as I opened my cereal bar
"Aunt rin suggested going over to the torreto's for tea to save me cooking but only if they say it's okay no doubt brian will pick me up like usual when I go to theirs for tea" I muffled out.
"That's fine I talk to letty at lunch and see if that's alright for you I'm sure it's fine they love you"my mum laughed as she stopped at the red light.
I took this time to take in the scenery and admire my mother she was the most prettiest woman I know with her light brown hair chucked up in a claw clip with minimal makeup on her tan skin she wore her simple green work scrubs and some crocs how she drives in crocs I will never know hahaha.
"What's wrong?"my mother questioned after she noticed me staring.
"Nothing just admiring how pretty my mother is"i said as I poked her cheek.
My mother let out a small laugh and continued to drive to my school.
"Here we are have a good day sweetheart dont be a little shit do your work and I'll see u after school tommorow or mabey in the morning love you" my mum then placed a small kiss on my cheek .
"I'll try could be worse it could be a monday love you mum gave a good shift" I said as I slide out the car and shut the door.
"Bye cariño" my mum shouted as she speed away.
