Hailee pov
"Promise me T " the girl whispered to her childhood bestfreind pinky extended as a act of sealment.
"I promise" the other girl whispered back as she hooked her pinky into the girls.
That was the last promise I made with my best friend before she left.
You may be wondering where did she leave to? What did I make her promise?
Well let me set the scene and give a little backstory how we ended up making that promise .
We go back to when I was 16 sat on the stairway of the torreto household watching as my bestfreind loaded up all her belongings into her fathers 1968 Dodge Charger R/T.
I remember the feelings of anger,disappointment and sadness all battling inside me.
The one person I ever fully connected with was being shipped off to a millatry ran boarding school half way across the country and I had no power to stop it happening.
Why didnt she just listen? why did she have to keep pushing and pushing? What point was she trying to prove?.
Whatever point she was trying to prove had been loudly received as she was now reaping what she sowed.
"Hey dont look so glum I'll be back before u know it hails"
I looked up from my lap to see my bestfreind looming in front of me a stupid smirk plastered across her face.
"Yeah I know T but still who else is gonna help me change my bike wheel or listen to me bitch about mrs cringle" I huffed out .
My friend then rolled her eyes and started to walk away from me looping around the house to go to her fathers garage.
I quickly followed after her curious to see what she had planned.
and to give her a piece of my mind for ignoring me.
T slowly made her way up the Long drive momentarily stopping to open up the wooden doors.
" Teeee why have u come all the way in here could u not have told me on the stairs" I whined
"Nope" T said bluntly as she walked over to a garage corner littered with tools and parts
"Here" T said to me as she handed me a cone wrench and a couple of allen keys.
"What's this for?"
"That is so u can learn to fix that your bike wheel of yours " T said as she pointed at the tools then back at me.
"And this" she then strides over to a work bench and shuffles a few things around in a box.
She then finds a small note pad and pen and hands it to me.
"That is so u can bitch about miss cringle in a letter and send it to" T stated
"But it's not the same" I then fake sniffle
"Oh stop being stupid it's still the Same to be honest though calling would be better but hey I dont even know if I'll have that privilege anymore at this hell whole I'm going to"
T trailed off into silence staring off onto the drive clearly showing she was deep in thought.
"I suppose it's okay and will have to do but just know you will probably be receiving 10 pages of bitching and general moaning about how bad my lifes going without u and all the stuff you miss" I spoke trying to bring T out of whatever thought she was having.
T then turned back to me and smiled.
"I'll look forward to it" she said in a soft voice.
"Taylor let's get the last of this stuff packed say our goodbyes and hit the road" shouted dominic from the bottom of the drive.
"Well then that's my que" Taylor said as she moved towards the doors.
"Wait T" I scrambled after my bestfriend and gently grabbed her wrist to stop her.
"Come on hails I gotta go before my dad gets mad" Taylor sighed as she tried to prise my hand off her wrist.
"Promise me" I stated at her as I jutted my pinky out.
"Promise u what hails" Taylor huffed as she waited for me to reply.
"Promise me u will always reply to every letter I send and that you will call me whenever u can ... and that you wont forget about me .... and and that u wont make a more better and awsome freind then I am" I rambled at her waving my hands around in order to get a point across.
"I...I" Taylor stuttered back at me.
"Promise me T " I whispered once again offering my pinky to her.
After a few seconds Taylor replied
"I promise" she whispered as she hooked her pinky into mine.

Soooooo I hope it's okay and make a bit of sense hahah.
Just to clarify this has been set in the future after all the F&F movie events.
Hailee and taylor are inserts well most the charcters will be 😂.
Taylor is dominic and letty's
Daughter.
Hailee is another inserts daughter but u will find more out about them later.
