Rain:
I hear the rain beating on my window
And I know what I must do
Taking flight I run to my door
I open it up
I stand as the rain pours
I spin
I don't even have shoes on I notice
I am a little girl once more
Being spun round and round
Like I used to
I feel the water hit my skin
Washing away all the fears, the worries
Then I see you standing at my doorway
With that smile on your face
As you hand me a towel
Shaking with laughter
You know this will happen again
It is not the first time
It will happen again
When the Rain comes a calling again
