Finding My Feet:

Put one foot in front of the other they say

And take a deep breath

It's all about finding my feet

I stumble I fall as I often do

Even now I fall..

Even when I think I am stable

I lose my feet and I fall

Find your feet

You will be okay

I hear being said in my head

You are stronger then you give yourself credit for

If I am so strong then why am I unable to put my foot in front of the other

Without the fear of falling

Will I ever see the day when I can go through it

Without falling to the ground

I don't know but at the moment

I am finding my feet in hope that

One day I will be alright

I will be able to walk freely

With the strength I once had

And not to fall to the ground

But until that day

All I can do is put one foot in front of the other

And try in hope that I won't fall

Or if I do there will be someone to catch me

Help me up

And make me get back to finding my feet

I can always dream.....
