First time drawing a Norse goddess! Tbh I've never really gotten much into Norse mythology, I'm more into Greek, Egyptian, Polynesian, and Aztec. Native American mythology is really cool too. But personally, I don't really find Norse all too interesting... don't come for me lmao
I just loved Freya's aesthetic though, so I had to draw her!
She's the goddess of love, fertility, beauty and war, and she drives a chariot pulled by two cats. She's also the owner of the mythical necklace Brisingamen. She's kinda like the Norse equivalent of Aphrodite and Athena combined. Some stories also say she's a goddess of death as well.
Wow I sound so robotic lmao, idk, I just don't know a lot of Norse Mythology besides what happened in the MCGA books lol I just really really really to draw Freya :3
