Camila's POV
As Lauren and I were in a very heated moment my stupid phone had to go off again. Seriously why now, when I was actually about to get some. As Lauren pulled away I knew she wasn't happy, shit I wasn't either but when I saw who it was I immediately ignored it and decided to text the person later when Lauren was asleep.
"Can we forget that just happened and get back to what we were doing?" I ask straddling her and giving her kisses all over her face.
"Who keeps calling you?" she asks a bit mad
"Wrong number" I answer right away
"Bull shit, it's been going on for 4 nights straight Camila. Who the fuck keeps calling you at this time?" She asks again and getting me off of her meaning she is really upset.
"Baby it's no one okay. You saw that I even ignored it please don't be mad over this stupidity please" I say giving her my puppy eyes knowing she can't resist
"If it were important you would tell me right?" she asks and I know that she is concerned because she doesn't sound angry anymore.
"Of course I'd tell you; now can we please get back to what we were doing before that stupid call" I say kissing her lips softly
"I would love to but I am really tired can we just cuddle tonight please. I promise tomorrow we can spend the entire day in our hide out" she says breaking the kiss and just holding me close
"Whatever you want" I answer kissing her cheek and watching her eyes close as she goes to sleep.
When I was sure that she was completely knocked out I loosen her hold on me and slip out of her arms to grab my phone and get out of the room. When I quietly got out of my room I made my way to the bathroom and turned the lights on to check my phone.
"1 missed Call"
"Great well I'm not going to call back. I'll just send a text"
Me: you almost got me caught
Xxx: Is she there with you again?
Me: Of course she is. Where else would she be?
Xxx: I don't know maybe at a party or something not at your house again.
"I've told you already she's changed. Now why were you calling me again so late at night?
Xxx: Well I just wanted to tell you that we are good for tomorrow night
Me: Are you serious?
Xxx: Completely. SO you owe me
Me: No I don't. You've owed me this favor for a while now.
Xxx: Whatever you say Mila but remember who just helped you out without freaking out
Me: I know but I got to go before Lauren wakes up
Xxx: Fine. Remember though 9 p.m. you can't be late
Me: I got it see you tomorrow night.
After I sent my last text I closed the conversation and put my phone on vibrate. I made got out of the bathroom then made my way back to my room quietly and closed my door with the lock, then got into bed and hugged Lauren tight. Tomorrow was sure to be a very interesting day, I thought to myself.
Lauren's POV
I woke up the next morning with Camila hugging me and I smiled. I was still curious about who the hell was calling her so late at night, but I didn't want to make her feel like I don't trust her so I let it slide once again. I reached for my phone to look at the time and my eyes widened when I saw it was 10 a.m. "Shit Papa C" I said out loud in a whisper. I was about to get out of bed when all of a sudden I feel Camila hold on to me tighter.
"Camz I got to go its 10 a.m. and your dad is going to kill me if he finds me here" I say in a low voice
"No you are staying here with me" she says with her eyes still closed
"Baby but your dad" I say worried
"If he hasn't knocked down my door yet, you are fine now go back to sleep. I want my Lolo cuddle time" she says cuddling into me and I just smile
Seriously there are times where I wonder how the hell Camila loves me so much. I mean not even a month ago she was completely confused between Chris and I, and now she is here in my arms holding on to me so that I won't go. It is unbelievable and also the best thing in the world. I was about to close my eyes again to sleep when my phone lights up.
"Daddy"
"Hey dad" I answer
"Happy birthday sweet heart" He says and my eyes pop open again. Shit it's my 17th birthday today. Wait but how come Camila hasn't realized this yet.
"Um thanks daddy" I reply with a shy smile
"So what is the birthday girl doing today?" he asks me and I seriously have no clue.
"I don't know dad. I actually even forgot today was my birthday" I say truthfully
"Well whatever you decide to do let me know okay. Also tell Camila I say hello" he says before hanging up.
Yep that's my dad for you. At least he called me though. I was looking at my phone after his call when I feel Camila's hand move under my shirt.
"I knew I forgot to do something last night" she says and I look at her like she's gone crazy
"Happy Birthday Gorgeous" she says sitting up then giving me the best kiss ever
"Mm, I wish it was my birthday every day if I get kisses like that" I say pulling away and placing my forehead against hers.
"Well if your birthday was everyday you'd be really old" she replies hugging my close and playing with my hair.
"That's true but I'd still look hot" I say smiling at my sassiness
"Extremely hot" she says laughing and giving me another kiss that had more passion.
As we continued to kiss I pulled her closer and sat her on my legs making her straddle me. When we broke for the kiss for air, I licked my lips and looked into her now dark eyes. When I was about to kiss her again there was a knock on her door that broke our intense stare.
"Camila I am praying to God right now that you and Lauren are not having sex in there or have had sex last night or any other night this past week because if you have I swear there will be no more sleep overs and I will personally place a lock with a key on your window" I hear her mother say and we both look at each other stunned.
"Now Abre la puerta" She says and Camila gets off of me to open the door for her mother who comes in holding a tray full of food.
"Mor-morning Mami" Camila says worried
"Morning Mija, Lauren" she says looking at me with a raised eye brow
"He-Hi Mama Cabello" I say a bit scared
"Don't worry Camila's dad left for work a while ago and didn't even see your car parked at the corner. Now me diran how long this sleeping arrangement has been going on. Porque every night this week I've been hearing windows open then close and Mila's phone going off at 12:30. SO is there anything I should know about?" Mama C asks and I stay silent.
"Mami I-I can explain. You see Chris has been acting really weird and strange with Lauren ever since I broke up with him. Y como Lauren's Parents are always working or out of town for work I-I really don't want her being home alone with him. So I she has kind of been sleeping her. I-I know that it's breaking one of your big rules pero Chris has gone completely crazy" Camila explains and her explanation is correct my brother has gone a bit insane.
"How long has Lauren been sneaking in through your window Camila?" Her mother asks
"About 3 weeks not counting the nights you let her sleep over" Camila says looking at the floor.
"Ay Camila you know the rules Mija, but I won't tell your father about this. Just please be careful that he doesn't find out because I will not get involved. Lauren be careful climbing that old tree so late at night and maybe instead of calling Mila so late text her so she can leave the front door open for you. Other than that I have not seen, heard, or even spoken to you about this. Also Lauren Happy Birthday, there is your breakfast." Mama C says then leaves the room closing the door behind her.
"Okay I completely love your mom right now" I say shocked that she didn't freak out on us.
"Yeah well it helps when she is on my side and understands. But what does the birthday girl want to do today?" she asks me turning to look at me
"Um I don't know" I answer with a small smile
"Well we will have to fix that" she says kissing my cheek and smiling.
