The room was completely silent and the only sound came from behind the door. Both girls stared at each other's eyes with labored breaths. Shorts were scattered on the floor and shirts were thrown across the bathroom counter. The atmosphere was blazing hot like a volcano and not even cold water could extinguish the flames.
It had been 20 minutes already and none of them said a word until Lauren finally broke the silence.
"I'm sorry" she says not breaking eye contact
"No I'm sorry. I-I got carried away" the younger girl responds with her beautiful brown eyes.
"No, I got scared and freaked out. I-I shouldn't have started" Lauren says taking Camila's hand in hers.
"I never stopped you. So please don't blame yourself" Camila replies caressing Lauren's face with her other hand.
"We-we should check on Sofi" Lauren says not really wanting to move from that spot on the bathroom floor
"Yeah we should but Lauren, I was serious about what I said" The brunette says drawing circles along Lauren's exposed collar bone with her finger.
"You said a lot of serious things today Camz. So can you be more specific" Lauren says playing with Camila's fingers
"I love you. I'm in love with YOU, and I think I always have been" Camila states in between kisses to Lauren's lips.
"I love you too Camzi" Lauren says smiling then gives the younger girl a tender kiss.
Lauren's POV
If this is heaven then never let me out of this room. If this is my safe haven then never let it collapse, and if Camila telling me she is in love with me too is a dream then please NEVER WAKE ME UP.
I can't believe Camila actually admitted that she loves me. I thought this would never happen. When she did say it though, my eyes went wide and my mouth went dry. The girl I've been in love with for over a year love me back, and is in my arms at this very moment.
I don't want to leave this bathroom at all but then again we do have to check up on Sofi and also probably talk about certain things, including my brother. As got up, I pulled Camila up with me and grabbed or clothes.
"I'm still sorry Lauren" Camila says looking at me with sad eyes
"Camz don't be. It's ok. You did nothing wrong. I'm the one who had the mini flip out" I say holding her face in my hands
"But what I did made you remember what happened with Paul" she says and I shake my head
"Baby you did nothing wrong. It's just going to take some time for me to remember that it's you touching and kissing me not him" I say kissing her forehead
"I still feel bad though" she says and I sigh
"Camz do you trust me?" I ask her
"With my life" she answers back immediately
"Then trust me when I say you did nothing wrong. Now let's go see what Sofa Monster is doing" I say giving her a smile
When we walked out of the bathroom I looked at the bed where I had left Sofi and saw that she was sound asleep hugging a pillow with her thumb in her mouth. Seriously she is the cutest little girl ever. Well aside from Camila
"Should we wake her up?" Camila asks while she looks at her baby sister
"Nawh, let her sleep. You know she was really worried about you when you went into shock mode down at the beach" I tell her as I pull her into a hug
"Ugh I can only imagine" she says placing her forehead on my left shoulder and hugging me back.
"You know I think we should take a nap. So far today had been way too stress full. Come on" I say rubbing her back.
"Laur, Sofi is sleeping on our bed" she says looking over at the bed that had a sleeping 5 year old.
"Babe there are two beds. We can just take the other one" I say and I know she smiled because she kissed my neck right after I told her about the other bed.
As we walked to the other bed we both grabbed different clothes to quickly change so that we would be conferrable. When we go into the bed I laid down and once Camila was next to me I cuddled into her and closed my eyes. I really need this nap like that I can forget about Paul popping into my life again.
Camila's POV
What happened in the bathroom earlier was unbelievable. One second I was hovering over Lauren kissing her and caressing her slowly, but when I grind down on her without even thinking; She instantly pushes me off of her and starts to have a mini panic attack. Paul has seriously done damage to Lauren and I was going to make sure he paid for ever doing that to her.
Before I do anything though, I have to do one very important thing first. As I heard Lauren's steady breathing as she slept cuddled into me, I grabbed my phone and opened my contacts. I clicked on the name I was looking for, then sent a quick text.
Step one complete. Now to work on the other important situation, Lauren. I need to think of something to make up for not being there for her. Something big but what? I was brought out of my thinking when my phone rang and I picked up quickly as I looked down at Lauren to make sure it didn't wake her up.
"Hello"
"Seriously a text?" I hear him shout but I could care less
"Yes a text do you want me to elaborate more or what?" I say irritated with him and other things.
"Maybe a reason why. That would be nice." He says and I feel Lauren cuddle into me more.
"You want a reason ok I'll give you a reason. Chris you're suffocating me and it's getting annoying. On top of that, you seem to think that just because you buy me chocolates, teddy bears and flowers that I will forget about what you were about to do to me at Keaton's party and I'm never going to forget" I say as calm as possible
"Camila I love you though" he argues and I held in a scruff
"If you love me, you would have never thought of doing what you where about to do to me" I respond coldly
"I was drunk. I had no idea what I was doing" he states and this time I do scruff and start to play with Lauren's hair to try and calm me down.
"A drunk person, Christopher, is one of the most honest people. Don't you know that a drunk mind does what a sober mind wants. So you doing that proved to me that you are not who I thought you were" I say in all honesty
"But you love me. You've said it to me a thousand times" he says but I nod my head
"I was in love with the image of you, but in reality I'm not. I'm sorry Chris but our relationship is over" I tell him and hang up.
As I put my phone down, I feel Lauren move again and when I look down at her I see a smile on her face
"I know you're awake" I say staring at her
"mm, no I'm not let me sleep" she whines trying to act like she's sleeping
"Really? wow then I guess my ring tone really isn't so annoying" I state with a smile
"Oh it's annoying that thing woke me up" She admits and I hold in a laugh
"I knew it" I say teasing her but she just sticks her tongue out at me. "stop being a baby" I tell her and she sits up
"Can I be a baby just for today?" she asks in a cute little voice and I melt
"Lo you're too cute sometimes you know that?" I say taking her hand in mine
"Well I'm only like this with you and Sofi so don't tell anybody" she says as a warning but kisses my check
"I won't but what are we doing for dinner tonight? It's already 5" I tell her and her eyes go wide
"Did I sleep that long?" she asks and I smile
"You only slept for 2 hours. I think Sofi's been out for 3" I tell her
"Your parents aren't back yet?" she asks and I nod. "Well then how about we go out for dinner?" she asks
"Are you sure you're up for going out after earlier?" I ask her worried
"Yeah I'm fine. Now how about you go get ready and I'll wake up princess Sofi" she says smiling and I give in.
"Ok. I'll be in the shower" I say giving her a kiss and getting out of bed
Lauren's POV
Camila's ring tone did wake me up, but I kept my eyes closed so that she wouldn't avoid the person calling. As I heard her conversation I wondered who she was talking to until she said my brother's name. I was surprised when she said she was breaking up with him because I thought she was going to wait but then a smile came to my face and I thought of the perfect way to end my surprise I had planned.
When I heard the shower start I got out of the bed and made my way to a sleeping Sofi.
"Sofi wake up little princess" I say rubbing her back gently
"mm, ish Mila ok?" she asks in a sleepy voice.
"Yeah she's perfectly fine. She's taking a shower. But are you still helping me with her surprise?" I asked her and she nods with a smile "awesome well what I need you to do is when my phone rings later you pick it up" I tell her
"Ok but where will I go?" she asks and I smile
"You little princess are going to take Camila to her surprise and you will stay with us" I say tickling her stomach and making her laugh.
If thing go the way I'm hoping they will then Camila will love it and I'll have a girlfriend by the end of the night.
