Anika waited for the whole day for his call. She was getting tensed thinking about him, she reminded herself that it takes 6-7 hours to reach. In the evening she got irritated thinking about his careless behaviour and asked Om if he reached or not. Om noticed the time and told her he reached. Anika nodded and came into their room. She is not sure if he called Om or not but if he did then it was a very wrong decision as even she was getting tense.
After sleeping for 2-3 hours he checked the time and realised after leaving home he didn't call anyone
"Ohh, God. How can I forget it", Shivaay thought and called Anika. Anika noticed the time 6 pm when she noticed his call
"I will not pick up your call ", Anika said to him and let her phone ring. When her phone started ringing once again she picked up the call and answered hello in a low voice because she can't ignore him for long. He is her love
"How are you? I called to tell you I reached a few hours ago", Shivaay informed
"You informed me too early", Anika said sarcastically which he felt .
"Don't taunt Anika. I was very exhausted and didn't realise when I slept. I am not careless, I thought maybe because of restlessness I slept", Shivaay said
"I am sorry. Now please don't end the call for some time I want to talk with you", Anika said, Shivaay smiled as even he wanted to talk with her.
"Ok but without any taunt and fight ", Shivaay said
"Who wants to fight? I hate when we don't talk to each other normally. I don't like it, talk to me like before and come back ", Anika said, her voice breaking due to her tears. Shivaay guessed that she started crying and got tensed.
"Don't cry, Anika. I just reached and I am resting. The meeting is held tomorrow evening and its midnight here", Shivaay said
"Why do you leave early then?", Anika asked
"Don't you think a person need rest before going on a meeting after long travelling? You know right I never sleep while travelling ", Shivaay said stating the fact
"Ok but I also want to see you ", Anika said. Shivaay nodded and thought about the video call
"Ok pick my video call then", Shivaay said and called her but Anika declined it after noticing his face.
"Why did you decline the call in middle ", Shivaay asked, Anika, kept quiet as right now she doesn't have an answer, she is missing his presence a lot. She wants to cuddle him and sleep in his arms. Teardrops fall from her eyes thinking about their fight and his meeting which is held out of India
"Tell me. Don't cry Anika otherwise I will end the call ", Shivaay warned Anika when he realised that she is crying, he heard her slow whimpering sounds.
"Why do you leave like this then? Don't you know from the time I got to know about pregnancy I am tensed ", Anika questioned after gaining little confidence
"I know my dear wife and I will be there soon. Do you want me to bring something for you or our baby?", Shivaay asked
"Yes picture of babies", Anika said, they talked for some more time and then declined a call when Shivaay said he is going to sleep again.

After 2 days, Shivaay came back and Anika came to meet him at the airport with Omru. Omru meet him and told him they have important work and left there. They were here just because of Anika otherwise they would have left a long time ago.
"Take care bhabhi", Omru said and left from there. They never want to come between them so every time they escape leaving them alone.
"I'm back my love ", Shivaay said and sat inside the car after hugging her, they drove towards the mansion both entered together.
"What should I do of them? I will not let him give property to his son it will go to Omkara's wife. I don't know how his wife is pregnant. A person like Shivaay can never accept marriage", they heard Tej's voice which angered Shivaay, his blood boiled hearing his words
"Don't you dare bade papa. I have heard everything silently as that was for me but I will never hear anything for my wife and child. If you don't want to divide the property I am fine with it. I will give my property to my baby but don't you dare to think cheap", Shivaay shouted angrily
"Shivaay don't get angry", Anika said and rubbed her hand on his back and then rubbed his shoulder to calm him
"Why can't you see me happy? At least mind your business if you can't do anything good", Shivaay said, Anika, intertwined their fingers together and gestured for him to stay calm
"Who knows with whom you were roaming there", Tej said taunting Shivaay as he does not believe that Shivaay can become a good person when his father was not.
"He was roaming with his second wife tell me what will you do? It should matter to me, right? Not you then keep quiet. I am saying this again Shivaay is far better than you at least he knows how to keep his wife happy unlike you who is a business-minded person. At least my husband knows how to manage time with me and work unlike you who forgets he has a wife and stays out of India for days. Who knows with whom", Anika shouted angrily shocking Tej and Shivaay both. Janvi kept quiet as she don't know how to handle the situation.
"Anika", Tej shouted her name and moved toward her but Shivaay came in between.
"This girl is crossing limits", Tej said angrily
"Then why are you saying this to him? You have an affair with someone and are pointing a finger at his character", Anika said, this time Shivaay turned and glared at her because he does not want anybody to fight here and his wife is all ready to fight.
"Nobody is innocent in business. Everyone wants profit", Tej said
"Let it be. Deal with your marriage, not ours", Anika said and dragged Shivaay from there, when they reached the room Anika hugged Shivaay tightly
"I am sorry for my misbehaviour Shivaay but nobody has the right to point fingers at you. Only I have because you married me. I know he must be having affair that's why he thinks that you are the same. Hugh comparing himself with my husband who is far better than him", Anika complained angrily
"I love you and missed you a lot", Shivaay said and tightened the hug more to feel her near him. He knows whatever happened was just for him otherwise Anika always understands.
"Yes, even I did. Shivaay I trust you more than I trust myself. I know a person like you can never be wrong. I think only 1-2 times you were wrong otherwise every time I was wrong and you forgave me. You have a heart of gold which is very sensitive for everyone. Shivaay after the wedding we start understanding duties and responsibilities, and we become mature enough to differentiate between right and that. And it is up to people to keep thier promises, promises are not meant to be broken. People break them but if love is pure then it is powerful enough to save a relationship ", Anika said and kissed his cheeks, Shivaay closed his eyes feeling peace
"This child is a symbol of our love, it might be a mistake but it depends upon people how they take it. We will take our baby as a blessing and will never tell him the truth but many times people become stupid in desires and workload and forget a little life. Shivaay doesn't prove to the world that you are perfect, just be you and prove to yourself that you can overcome your fears", Anika said
"Yes, that's true. I believe myself Anika I know I will never become a bad father. We will never fight in front of him, we will sort out our problems as we do always. I know till you are with me I will stay happy and I can never get over you ", Shivaay said
"Yes don't ever go away ", Anika said before she is scared to lose him
"Never biwi jii", Shivaay replied and pulled Anika over his chest. Anika smiled and looked into his eyes, she can see pure love in his eyes. Shivaay caressed her face and tucked hair strands behind her ears, he tightened his hold on her waist and closed his eyes feeling his support near him.
"Will you work with me? ", Shivaay asked
"Sure", Anika said

After some years
Shivaay tiptoed into the room silently without making any noise and didn't close the door as it will make noise.
"Welcome back Mr Oberoi ", Anika said and threw cushions on him one by one. They decided to go out today with Ansh, thier 5-year-old son but Shivaay didn't come which disappointed both of them. Anika tried calling him but neither he picked up nor replied to her message which irritated her.
"Anika I got a meeting..", Shivaay tried telling her reason but Anika interrupted him
"You could have informed Shivaay. Ansh was asking me many questions. He was not even sleeping because his father promised to take him out. I lied to Ansh telling him that your car is punctured and we can't go out. Why do you promise when you can't fulfil it?", Anika asked. Shivaay help both of her hands and kissed her knuckles
"I am sorry. I will not repeat it", Shivaay said, Anika took her hands angrily and turned her face aside. She is not that angry but she loves his pampering whenever she shows anger. Most of the time he is busy and doesn't get time for her and Ansh which disappoints her. They love Ansh and play with him whenever he asks for and in front of him they rarely touch his mobile but after his arrival, they stopped getting time for each other.
"Should I arrange your dinner?", Anika asked
"Sorry. I had it in the office as I was hungry. What about you?", Shivaay asked
"Even I had it with Ansh", Anika said and layed on the bed. Shivaay thought she is sleepy and went to change, today he thought he will spend time with her but couldn't. When he came back he noticed Anika ruffling Ansh's hair and singing Lullaby for him.
"What happened?", Shivaay asked. Anika kept quiet and slept without answering him. Shivaay realised that she is angry and took holiday for tomorrow and told his pa to cancel his meetings.
Next day
Ansh found himself sleeping between his parents and giggled finding his father beside him.
"Where were you?", Ansh asked from sleeping Shivaay. Both Shivaay and Anika woke up hearing him and looked at Ansh.
"What happened my baby?", Shivaay asked Ansh
"When did he come mom( ven did he ame mom?", asked Ansh from Anika
"Sorry, dad was late yesterday. Am I forgiven?", asked Shivaay and looked at Anika. Anika came forward and kissed Ansh's cheeks
"Yes you are", Ansh said and kissed Shivaay's cheeks. Shivaay smiled and looked at Anika, she is angry and he knows it very well.
"My Huggie", Ansh asked. Anika looked toward Ansh and then Shivaay, daily they hug Ansh together to show that they love him. It is Anika's favourite time as every morning she gets his hug which is enough for her. She hug her both lives together in the morning, Shivaay looked toward Anika asking can he hug her. Anika gestured for him to come and the trio shared a hug.
"Now go and tell brush your teeth today your father is on holiday", Shivaay said, when Ansh left he sighed in relief as he was scared what if their little fights tensed their son? He doesn't want him to see him fighting anytime, even if they fight on small issues.
"I am sorry Anika", Shivaay apologized. Anika nodded and hugged him, she understands what he is thinking and wanted to tell him that she is mature enough to control herself in front of her kid. She learnt from him how to control anger in front of someone.
"Sorry granted because you took holiday. Now go today you will take care of today I am free ", Anika said, Shivaay nodded and went toward their son. Everything in their life changed after his arrival but one thing which stayed constant is their understanding level and their love for each other. They don't get into serious fights and they learnt to hide their anger in front of Ansh even if it is Shivaay not telling her about his whereabouts and Anika spoiling his things via mistake.
Their child came as a source of light for them which made their life beautiful. They got a chance to get the feeling of parents, they removed every insecurity of each other. And whenever they have fear of something and are sad they help each other to come out of it. They don't get time for each other nowadays but they never let this thing affect their relationship. Shivaay kissed Anika before going and promising that he will never let distance break their relationship.
