A/N at the bottom
It was the first day of camp and all the counselors had made it to the camp. Dylan and Nick were talking when Y/N had come up to them to introduce himself.
Dylan was speechless and Nick had to introduce the both of them to Y/N.
Once Y/N left, Nick teased the everloving shit out of Dylan
After that he would watch Y/N during breakfast and lunch (Not creepily)
Because 2 of the counselors hadn't come, Y/N was in charge of moving things around and helping the other counselors.
Y/N would visit Dylan in the radio shack to drop off some things Mr.H had no storage for.
Dylan would fumble with his words as Y/N tried to converse with him.
Dylan would walk by when Y/N was covering for Kaitlyn in the First aid room, he would notice how gentle and kind he was to the weeping kid.
It would MELT his heart.
Y/N would hangout with Dylan when he was free, and soon Dylan became more comfortable with him.
They would hang out in the radio shack, talking about music, school and whatever else was on their mind.
Dylan would show Y/N a playlist he made for him.
When Y/N had dish duty, Dylan would beg whoever else was on for their place, he hated washing dishes but spending the time with Y/N made it all the lot better.
Dylan and Y/N's cabins would be right beside each other so when either of them needed to talk, they could go visit the other. ( I'm pretty sure there are others in the cabin but I don't know if it's just the other counselors or if there are kids in there too?)
The two would meet in the woods in the middle of the night and take a walk around.
Dylan was usually the one to flirt but being with Y/N made him overthink everything he said, meaning Y/N was the one to flirt with him.
When Y/N did, Dylan would freeze with a face so red, it put tomatoes to shame.
When it was nearing the end of camp, both Y/N and Dylan were planning on confessing.
Y/N had asked to take over Nick's cooking classes and with the kids, he baked chocolate cupcakes and decorated them, each of them having a letter and once put together they spelled out 'Will You Go Out With Me?'
Y/N and the kids had set it up in the lodge and waited for Dylan to walk in.
Meanwhile Dylan was outside with a bouquet of flowers he had found in the forest, trying to hype himself up to walk in and ask Y/N out.
After a few minutes of debating the pros and cons, Dylan marched in, deciding that even if he was to be rejected, he would be able to get it off his chest.
He walked in and saw Y/N standing in front of a decorated table, Dylan stumbled his way to him and looked down, seeing the arrangement of the cupcakes.
Dylan's heart skipped a few beats and his face flushed, his breathing became uneven as he tried to reciprocate his feelings.
Y/N walked around the table and held Dylan's hands "Will you go out with me Dylan?" Dylan looked from the boy in front of him to the ground, "I'd love to" He whispered.
The other counselors clapped as the two boys embraced each other.
"Finally" Kaitlyn whispered, chuckling at the two.
When the last day of camp had arrived, the group bid the kids farewell and Y/N and Dylan spent the last bit of time they had together making sure everything was packed and ready.
