Sana's P.O.V.
As I sat in front the mirror, getting ready for one of the biggest days of my life, everything seemed perfect. I never really sat and imagined this day but it came nevertheless and it was unexplainable. I wore a beautiful white chiffon saree with mirror work done on the blouse and border. I wore silver, matching earrings and some silver bangles. I did a neutral tone makeup look but paired it with a bold red lip. Like Sidharth liked, I left my hair open and straight and looked at myself in the mirror. I took a picture of my earring and sent it to tease Sidharth. 'I want to see your whole look,' he sent back. I smiled and sent one with my bangles. 'Now, one with you,' he said. I took one more with my ankles. 'Don't make me yearn no more. Send one, please,' he said. 'I'll see you in a half an hour,' I sent. 'You will pay for this,' he said. 'Let's see,' I sent and left my room. Reaching downstairs, I met Mom and she looked at me with her eyes welled up. "My baby, you are looking so beautiful," she said. She hugged me and rubbed some of her kajal off and made a dot behind my ear. "Your father would have been so happy today," she said. "Papa is with us Mom," I said. She nodded. We left and reached the venue. I only invited Abhi and his family from my side as I didn't want this too filled with fake people. All of my friends besides Abhi were absolutely fake and only friends with benefits. I wanted an intimate and private party with the people closest and dearest to me. As soon as we entered, all eyes fell on us. My eyes were fixed on Sidharth who wore a classic black suit with a white shirt and black tie. It accentuated his body and muscles, making him even more attractive and hot. After meeting everyone, I went to him. "Hey doc," I said awkwardly. "Hi," he said.
For the first time, things felt awkward between us. Everyone stood and stared at us. That's why maybe. "Come and sit," the event planner said to us. We sat on the seat arranged for us and everyone went around, talking, eating and drinking. "You are looking absolutely fabulous," he said, "You literally took my breath away." "You too look absolutely handsome. I'm proud of my choice," I said. "All of this is only for you," he said. "This too," I said. Abhi came to us clearing his throat. "Hi," he said smiling, "Congratulations on your bravery." He shook Sidharth's hand. "Bravery for what?" Sidharth asked confused. "On marrying this mental patient," he said pointing me. I pouted. Sidharth chuckled saying, "What better pair can you find than a doctor and patient?" "Sidharth," I said glaring at him. Abhi giggled at me. He won't like anything else better than Sidharth supporting him in harassing me. "On a very serious note though," he said, "Sana is the best girl you will ever come across in your life. She is an all in one." I stood up and hugged him. "Thank you," I said. Breaking the hug, he said, "I'm going to eat all the cheesecake and I'll catch you back." I pouted and punched his arm. He left laughing and I sat back down. "You both are really best friends," Sidharth said. "Yeah, we are together since childhood so we're pretty close," I said. "He will be lonely after I take you away, won't he?" He asked. I looked at him and chuckled saying, "That's good. He will find a girl to keep him happy then. Just like I found you." I held his hand and intertwined our fingers. "Sid, Sana, come and eat first and then we will have the ring ceremony," Roopaji said coming. "Can't we have the ring ceremony first?" Sidharth asked. "No. There is still some time before the auspicious time," she said. "I'm not hungry," he said. "Me neither," I said. "Ok, suit yourselves. If the food finishes, don't blame us after," she said leaving.
I took out my phone and called Abhi. Handing him, I said, "Take our pictures." He was more than ready and I sat closer to Sidharth and did all sorts of goofy faces while he sat looking at me as if I were mad. I hugged him in all different positions and finally sat on his lap. The photos were getting more and more romantic now. We went to the backdrop prepared especially for pictures and did some more romantic poses before Mom came and called us for the engagement. We went back to our seats. The pandit read some mantras and Mom did aarti and applied tilak on both of us. She handed him some gifts and then handed me the ring. Sharad gave Sidharth the box and I smiled at him. "Sana, put the ring on Sidharth's finger," Mom said. I held out my hand and he rested his on top. I slid the ring onto his finger and everyone cheered. "Sidharth, your turn," Mom said. He took my hand himself and Sharad exclaimed, "Balle! Balle!" He placed the ring on my finger and kissed my cheek, making me turn red in front of everyone. Everyone cheered happily and clapped and the music came on. As the Punjabi songs played, everyone got dancing with the bhangra dance group we hired. Sidharth was getting impatient to go and smiling, I said, "Go." He looked at me excited and held my hand, pulling me with him. We joined in the group and followed them, laughing at the top of our lungs at our mistakes and the fun everyone were having. Doing bhangra in a saree was not the perfect pair so I went to Roopaji and some other ladies and just danced normal while Sidharth couldn't seemed to leave the bhangra group. Everyone were having a blast until I saw Anita and some of my other 'friends' crashing the party. I frowned and went to them. Seeing me, they all yelled in excitement and hugged me one by one.
"Hi Sana! Anita told us that you were back and that you were getting engaged," Sonia said. "Oh gosh! Shut up! Let me see," Devika said holding my hand and watching my ring, "Gorgeous girl!" "Just wait until you see her man! He's so gorgeous that his taste will obviously be like him," Anita said looking through the crowd. Smiling sarcastically at her, I said, "Of course! That's why he chose me!" "Girl, I wish I could have gotten your punishment. I would kill for a hot guy like him," Sonia said hissing as she looked at him. "What are you all doing here? And who told you that today was my engagement?" I asked. "Oh!" Devika said chuckling, "I was actually in the same jewellery shop when you were buying the rings." Now that they were here, I just had to keep them three away from Sidharth. "Well, enjoy the party now that you are here. Excuse me," I said. I went back to Sidharth and began dancing with him as I kept my eyes on the three thirsty girls. They all looked at Sidharth and I went closer to him, dancing. They better know not to come around my man otherwise I will chop them up. They also joined in dancing with us and came to Sidharth. Before they could talk to him, I pulled him away to another spot. However, they followed us there as well. "What are you doing?" Sidharth asked confused. "Nothing. Let's dance!" I said pulling him away once more. The bhangra group stopped and decided to take a break. I looked at Anita, Sonia and Devika coming to us so I held Sidharth's hand and said, "Come, let's eat." I pulled him away from the crowd and to the caterers. Handing him a plate, we took some food and sat down at a table, opposite to each other. "Woah! That group is vibes!" He said sighing, "I'm starving." Just as he was about to eat, the three witches came and sat besides him.
"Hi! I'm Anita. We met already," Anita said. "I'm Devika," the next introduced and the third said, "I'm Sonia." "We are all Sana's girl friends," Devika said. "Hi. I'm Sidharth," he said. "Ouu...nice name. What do you do?" Sonia asked flirting. I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists as I glared at them. Sidharth looked at me, confused but still smiling and said, "I'm a doctor." "Wow! Beauty with brains! Sexy," Anita said holding his arm. I shot a glare at Sidharth also for him to get up from between them but clearly he didn't understand it. He chuckled and said, "Thanks." With a volcano of anger ready to explode inside me and a deadly smile on my face, I said, "Sidharth, baby, why don't you come and sit on this side with me?" "Yeah," he said and came across. Three of them sat opposite us now and looked at me as I held onto his hand with all rights and possessively. "Anita, Devika, Sonia, why don't you guys get something to eat and leave?" I said. "Ohh! Someone's playing possessive," Anita said. "It's getting quite late so," I said. "It's only one o' clock," Sonia said. "Yeah but, you guys go to the bar every Sunday to watch men...I mean, hang out right?" I said. "Who needs to go anywhere else when the perfect man is sitting in front of you," Devika said. "Yeah. But he's taken. Sorry but all right reserved to the owner solely," I said showing off the engagement ring. "Honey, I don't mind a married man. He is only engaged," she said. That's it! I had enough. I stomped my hand on the table making all of their eyes switch from him to me. "Listen, you three need to leave right now. This is a private function and you all are trespassing. I could call the guards to kick you all out but we used to hang out once so I will not do that but you three really need to get out of my engagement," I said snapping at them. They frowned and Anita said, "Come on, we are only joking and having some fun." "Then go somewhere else to have your fun. Don't flirt with my man," I said.
"Sana, relax," Sidharth said trying to calm me down but I gave him one hard stare and he kept mum. Looking back at them, I said, "It was nice having you for a few minutes. Hope you enjoy your day." They all got up and left disappointed. "Hey," he said holding my shoulder. "Don't!" I said raising my hand, "Why were you flirting with them?" His jaw dropped as he said, "I wasn't flirting. They were." "Answering their questions are flirting along with them," I said swelling my face in anger. "But I wasn't," he said. "Really? Were you or were you not answering their millions of questions?" I said. "They only asked me two questions," he said. "I don't care. Stay away from those three girls. I am warning you again," I said. He smiled, much amused at my jealousy and wrapped his arms around me. Kissing my cheek, he said, "I will. I promise." He took some of the food and fed me and my mood was much better not having them in front me, eyeing my Sidharth.
Sidharth's P.O.V.
Sana's jealousy got the best of her and she literally chased away the three girls. Throughout this entire situation, I couldn't help but to feel amused and loved by her. It showed how much she loved me and her insecurity of someone else taking me away from her. I love it. We partied the entire day and night reached. Everyone, tired and drained, retired to their rooms to relax and Sana, Sharad, Abhi and I remained back in the garden. Sitting at one table, we were chatting and cracking some jokes. I looked at the time and it was minutes to midnight. Yawning, Sharad also left and Sana said that she would escort Abhi out while I went back to my room. Upon entering, I got the shock of my life. Sana's friend, Anita were sitting on my bed with a skimpy dress. "What are you doing here? How did you get in?" I asked shocked. "Relax baby. I came through the door with this," she said and pulled out a key card from between her breasts. "Listen, Sana..." I started but she got up and began coming closer to me saying, "Sana is your fiancé. I know. I respect your loyalty towards her. But look at me. I'm just as if not more hot than her. I am willing to show you a good time." My back hit the wall behind me and I didn't even realise how much I had stepped back. "Have some respect for yourself then. Leave before Sana comes," I said. "Why are you so nervous? Sana was only jealous of Sonia because she took her man away a few years ago. But, she won't know anything about us," she said touching my neck and chest. I felt disgusted at how low she was. Holding her hand, I pulled it off of me but she didn't stop and kept coming back. "Listen, stop this now..." I said but the door opened and I froze seeing Sana standing and looking at us with her eyes red.
