Damon and Bonnie were walking along a path, each holding ice creams in their hands with huge smiles on their faces. They had been dating for about two weeks now and Elena started to accept their relationship. They had even gotten nicknames for each other. Pookie bear- Bon Damy Wamy - obviously Damon. All their friends were pretty happy for them. As they got to the end of the sidewalk and finished eating their ice creams, they kissed each other goodbye and agreed to meet later.
Later on, Elena met with Caroline to have lunch and they mostly talked about Bonnie's new relationship. "You two were a way better couple" said Caroline while drinking her soda. " "I hardly remember having a relationship with him so I'm fine with them dating" said Elena. Caroline then reminded Elena that a while ago Elena was thinking of getting back with Damon and starting something new but Elena shut her up.
They each went their separate ways and Elena reflected on Caroline's words.
