"Ok, I see. So the Headmage asked you two to investigate these incidents." Riddle said as he took in the new information.
"Caw! It was completely voluntarily. No one wanted anything out of this!" Kanzaburou said before he glanced at Grim.
"Yea, a suddenly kind Grim is pretty sus."
"I knew it, Grim suddenly coming by for a get well visit? Now that just has suspicious written all over it." Cater said.
"I must admit that I did find the circumstances rather odd as well. I've had Cater looking into it for me." Riddle said as Cater simply smiled at his words.
"That's right." Cater said as he gestures towards the redhead male. "And I found out that all of the victims from these incidents have been talented players like Riddle and Trey."
"Being fair, it wasn't as if I had been pushed or that I had tripped, but more so I did feel a peculiar sensation. It was as if my body was moving on its own volition." Riddle said as he pet the hedgehog he held in his arms.
"Caw! Again I say, doesn't that sound familiar!"
"You're right..." (Y/N) mumbles agreeing with Kanzaburou.
"The other victims said basically the same
thing!" Grim exclaimed.
"Caw! Really? I assumed they were all just a bunch of clumsy sorry losers who just sucked at this weird magic game you all praise so much!"
"Ah yes, at least I get a break."
"Wow, he's really going at him.."
"I believe we can safely conclude that only potential Magift tournament players are being targeted." The redhead said to the group.
"You think someone is causing accidents to take out other players from the tournaments?" Ace said.
"The whole world will be watching. A good
performance can make a player's whole career. It's no surprise that someone would resort to such underhanded methods to even the odds." Riddle said.
"Sure, but it just doesn't make such sense." The orange haired upperclassman said now frowning a bit. "I mean, you would know if you got pushed off the stairs by a gust of wind magic or something right?"
"I certainly felt no external force." Riddle said now thinking back on the incident that occurred.
"(Y/N) told us some of the other victims had accidents in the classroom! How do you explain that?" Deuce said.
"The culprit can tell us all about it when we
capture him." The redhead nodded. "And we intend to help you do that." Riddle said as he then gave the female a determined smile.
"So you're gonna help us? Really? What's your angle?" Grim said sounding a bit unsure.
"Grim please, you offend us. One of our very own dorm members was just injured. So why wouldn't we help him find justice?" Cater said.
"Caw! Justice?! So you say you want justice?! Now you're speaking my language!" Kanzaburou exclaimed before flying over to perch himself on Cater's shoulder.
"I don't think I trust this..." The female murmured.
"Don't worry (Y/N) it's not like we're going to kill anyone!" Cater smiled at the female all while her crow simply nodded in agreement
"Unless you're hurt I can't promise that..sorry Tomioka sama!"
"Yea. We're all dorm buddies here, so count us in." Ace said as Deuce nodded.
"He's gonna pay for what he did to Trey senpai!" Deuce said.
"Caw! Ooh I like this revenge tension going on! Keep it up!"
"You two seem awfully enthusiastic about this." Riddle pointed out.
"I get it now. You guys are gunning for that open spot on our team, aren't you?" Cater said now grinning at both males who simply gave the upperclassman a nervous smile in return.
"Was it really that obvious?" Ace said as he let out an awkward chuckle.
"N...no! That has nothing to do with it! I just
want to avenge our dorm member is all!" Deuce immediately exclaimed.
"Alright." Riddle said before letting out a small sigh. "Your performance during the investigation will be taken into account."
"Yes!" Ace and Deuce exclaimed in unison.
"Now, if we're going to apprehend this culprit, we need to stay a step ahead of him" Riddle said now gaining everyone's attention.
"And we're gonna do that how exactly...?" Grim said.
"By predicting which student will be targeted next and covertly following him. Should the culprit strike, we will protect the target and then immediately pursue the attacker." Riddle said as everyone nodded in agreement.
"A stake out!" Ace said making Deuce and Grim nod in agreement. "I'm all in!"
"Bingo." Cater smiled at the group.
"But wait.." (Y/N) said as everyone's attention was now on her. "How would we know who the next target will be?"
"I got this part all covered. I've already identified a number of potential targets from among the most promising players." Cater smiled as he then took out his phone showing them. "I'll form a group on Magicam so we can coordinate our efforts and then give you access to the album."
(Y/N) stared at the phone and nodded at the orange haired male. "That's very smart of you senpai, I'm impressed." She said making the upperclassman blush a bit.
"Wow Cater, this is a ton of information!" Deuce said as he stared at the phone in amazement.
"Well, with that said and done let's move out!" Cater said as he put his phone back in his pocket, smiling at the group.
"Right, let's nail this creep!" Grim exclaimed as everyone nodded in agreement.

Once the group left the Heartslabyul dorm, they soon went to the Hall of Mirrors to enter through the Pomefiore mirror. Soon enough they arrived at the Pomefiore dorm.
"Whoa, this place looks pretty fancy."
"My eyes will never recover after visiting this place.."
"Let's start here, at Pomefiore. There's a junior named Rook Hunt who's caught my eye. He has a blonde bob cut and a fedora. Trust me, you can't miss him." Cater said as he describe the said male to the group.
"Rook is an exceptional player. He performed extremely well in last year's tournament, but he's a bit of an odd duck to say the least." Riddle said.
"Odd huh? Well, he can't be that bad."
"Hm, I wonder what's he like for Riddle to say that."
"Is that him over there?" (Y/N) pointed out as she stared at the male whom Cater had just described to them.
"Yep. It's definitely him. Hard not to miss."
"Caw! That better be a fake feather or I'm gouging his eyes out!"
"Noted."
"Whoa, that dude looks like a glitter bomb in
human form. He's basically sparkling." Ace
said not squinting as he stared at the male.
"Yea.." (Y/N) agreed. "He looks shiny."
"Ugh, it burns my eyes." Grim grunted as he received a chuckle from Cater.

"Non, Epel, non. When you lift your teacup, do not insert your finger through the handle. It is most inélégant." Rook said now showing the purple haired male how to properly hold it.
"Oh....right, I'm sorry." Epel apologized before the two soon heard a sigh coming from their dorm leader.
"I just can't decide how I want to do my makeup on tournament day! I'm thinking maybe the new foundation from Felicity Cosmetics?" Vil said.
"Oh ho ho!" Rook chuckles at the male's sudden words. "Mon belle Vil, the Roi du Poison. Surely your beauté is not so faint that you need makeup to shine?"
"Of course I don't, but I don't dare miss an
opportunity to accentuate it any further!" Vil exclaimed proudly.
"I admire that passion! Magnifique! Trés
magnifique!" Rook said now praising the male.

"Uh...and you're saying this guy is some kind of incredible athlete?" Grim asked at he look back at the three Pomefiore student in disbelief. "Somehow, I doubt he's gonna be a target anytime soon."
"Caw! Never judge the shiny ones!" Kanzaburou said as the raven haired female nodded in agreement.
"He's right. You haven't even seen what he's really like, so it's best not to judge." (Y/N) said as she thought back on Tanjiro and Nezuko. "Those results may shock you..."
"Yea, maybe we should peace out and move on." Cater said as they then left the dorm heading to the school's court yard.
"Next on Cay Cay's list of potential targets we have Jade Leech and his twin brother Floyd. They're both sophomores at Octavinelle Dorm. Word is, they work so well together on the field the other teams don't know how to counter them." Cater said before he pointed out towards two identical males.
"Oh no.."
"Whoa! They have like, the exact same face!" Grim exclaimed.
"Caw! Well duh, they're identical twins you idiot!" Kanzaburou deadpanned.
"He's right.." (Y/N) said as she stared at both males.
Both males were rather tall compared to everyone else. They both had short teal colored haired with short bangs and one long streak of dark gray hair framing their face. Jade had his on the left while Floyd's went to the right. They both had heterochromia eyes with the colors being yellow and olive brown. Just like long streak of hair, their eyes went the same way too. They both also the same teal earring with three diamonds on it, except one wore it in the left ear while the other had it on the right. Everything about them was pretty much the same, the only difference was that Jade wore his uniform neatly while Floyd's uniform was worn in a messy manner. All in all they were definitely identical to each other no less.
"Something tells me we should watch our back when we're around them..." The female mumbles before she glanced at her crow. "What do you think Kanzaburou?"
"Caw! I agree, good observation as always Tomioka sama!" Kanzaburou nodded at her.
"Is it just me or do those guys make all the other students look tiny in comparison? They're practically giants!" Ace exclaimed.
"Seems like a pretty big advantage for them if you ask me." Grim said.
"So what do we think? Do you guys think they could be in any danger?" Deuce said.
"I don't know about that. If I were the culprit,
I'd save them for last." Riddle said narrowing his eyes at the twins. "I wouldn't want to get anywhere near them....especially Floyd." He muttered.
"Oh ho! Hey, what's up little Goldfish?" Floyd said now appearing before the group as he gave them a lazy smile.
"Gah!" Riddle's eyes widen at the sight of the male standing before him. "He spotted us!"
"What brings you to our humble abode? Are you playing hide and seek? Sounds like fun." Floyd said.
"F...Floyd, I have asked you countless times to stop calling me by strange nicknames." Riddle said now averting his eyes from him.
"But you're so small and red! How are you not a goldfish?" Floyd said now grinning at the redhead.
"Whoa, look at those teeth!"
"Sharp teeth...they're not too different from a demons...."
"This guy seems like he's a few cans short of a tuna casserole." Grim mumbled.
"Caw! Keep your mouth shut before you regret it!" Kanzaburou said now narrowing his eyes as Grim. "He's..special!"
Floyd blinked before his gaze landed on both Kanzaburou and Grim."A talking cat and bird? Now that's something you don't see every day! Can I squeeze you until you both pop?"
"No, stay away from me!" Grim exclaimed in a panicked tone.
"Caw! Do it and you'll regret it!" Kanzaburou glares at the teal haired male before he glanced back at his raven haired companion.
"....I wont allow you hurt him now. Not either of them." (Y/N) bluntly said as she held her arm out for Kanzaburou to perch on. "Please keep your distance.." The female said only making Floyd smile even more.
"Caw! Fight me!"
"My my, it would appear as if an unexpected guest from Heartslabyul Dorm has paid us a little visit. Perhaps here to study the competition in advance of the Magift tournament?" Jade said as he now approached the group, standing next to Floyd.
"No. That's not it, but we can't really go all that into it." Cater said sounding slightly nervous.
"We don't take spying at Octavinelle very lightly. I would ask you to please justify your actions as suspicious as they may be and please, spare no detail." Jade said as he gave them a close eyed smile.
"This guy sure talks fancy, but man his eyes sure are stone cold." Ace whispered at the female who nodded in agreement.
"It's like the annoying small bug brat and his stupid fake smile.."
"Well, would you look at the time? Gotta run guys! It's been real fun, bye bye now!" Cater said before soon running off with the others following close behind minus a certain raven haired female who stared at the twins with a blank look.
"They don't seem all that scary..but looks can be deceiving...." (Y/N) said ready to fight the twins as she held her nirichin blade in hand only to soon get picked up by Cater.
"Maybe next time (Y/N), these guys are totally not it!" Cater exclaimed to the girl in his arms before running off.
"Caw! The nirichin blade! Don't forget Tomioka sama's nirichin blade!"
"I got it!" Ace said as he clutched the female's swords in is hand as he followed after Cater. "Let's get out of here!"

After a bit of running they were soon about to come to a halt until Deuce's words reached everyone's ears.
"Shoot! They're chasing us now!" The blue haired male exclaimed as he looked behind himself only to notice the twins following after them not too far behind.
"Myah, seriously?!" Grim said as he glanced behind himself only to widen his eyes at the sight! "Gah! They're fast too!"
"Caw! It's almost like being chased by demons! They're crazy!" Kanzaburou cried out as (Y/N) nodded, still in Cater's arms.
"Ah..he's still carrying me...."
"Dammit Cater!"
"First a date now this?! Ok..I'm getting no where now."
"Hey, could you stop friends? Just for a second please? We just wanna chat for a bit that's all!" Floyd said.
"Ah, we have to say an absolute no to that! Now let's go, full retreat!" Riddle said as the group quickly ran away from the twins line of sight.
"Aww, they're gone now." Floyd sadly said as he watch the figures disappear making Jade let of a small chuckle at this.
"I do so enjoy a brisk midday jog." Floyd said as he smiled at his brother. "But alas we'll just have to continue this another time. Now come along Floyd, we need to prepare the lounge for tonight."
"Aww bummer, but all right." Floyd said before turning back to his smiling self.

"That...that was terrifying! What is the deal with those guys?!" Grim said now trying to catch his breath.
"I'm not the one to ask but those two have baffled me since we were freshmen together." Riddle said now letting out a small sigh.
"Messing with them seems like a pretty bad
idea." Cater said as the female simply looked at him.
"Senpai..." (Y/N) trailed off for a bit before continuing once again. "They're not chasing us anymore. You can put me down.."
"O..oh yea, haha!" The orange haired upperclassman blushed a bit before setting the female down all while the others glares at him. "Heh, sorry about that."
"I think I'd rather steer clear from them for a while." Deuce said.
"Yea. If I were the culprit, I know I'd definitely stay away." Ace said as he agreed with Deuce.
"Caw! They're lucky Tomioka sama was scooped away before she could fight them!"
"This would of been quite the sight to see."
"Can't forget this right?" Ace said as he gave the female her nirichin blade. "I'm sure you wouldn't want to lose that."
"Thank you Ace.." (Y/N) said giving the orange haired male a headpat making him blush a before she took back her sword.
"Let's move on to the next name on my list!" Cater smiled as he looked at his phone. "It's getting late, so let's make this the last one for today alright." The male said before showing his phone to the group. "Next is Jack Howl. He's freshman at the Savanaclaw Dorm and rumor has it that he's a great athlete. Scouts from all the major teams are fighting to sign him."
"Classes are over now, so he should be at his dorm." Deuce said.
"Oh, is it 5:00 already?" Riddle said a bit taken aback now realizing the time. "Rule 346: Croquet must not be played after 5:00 p.m. I should head back to Heartslabyul and make sure that no one is breaking the rules during my absence."
"I thought you had ease up a bit, but you're still as square as ever." Grim said as he scoffed at the redhead male.
"Don't say that Grim.." The female said as she looked back at Riddle.
"T...that's not true! I assure you that I've become much more lenient about enforcing the rules." Riddle exclaimed.
"He really has." Cater said as he smiled at the male. "He's way more nicer than before and we all appreciate that diligence from him. So go do what you gotta do, boss!"
"Caw! Him being like this is ten times the improvement for this little pepper!"
"Alright, then I guess the rest of us should start heading out towards Savanaclaw Dorm." Ace said making the other nod in agreement.
"Very well, we'll catch up on this later." Riddle said as he gave the hedgehog back to the female only for (Y/N) to push Kaiya back into his arms.
"Go ahead and take her with you. It looks like she missed you anyway." (Y/N) said as she gave the redhead a small smile.
Riddle was taken slightly aback before he gave her a small nod. "Alright. Take care of yourself."
"Goodbye, senpai."
"We'll see you later." Deuce smiled.
"Don't worry about it, we'll keep you updated!" Cater grinned as he watched the redhead male walk off.
"Now let's go!" Ace exclaimed.

Once Riddle left with Kaiya, they soon headed back to the Hall of Mirrors to enter through the Savanaclaw mirror, now arriving at the Savanaclaw Dorm.
"So...." Deuce trailed off for a bit as he looked around the dorm. "This is the Savanaclaw Dorm."
"Whoa, did they carve this place into a
mountain?" Grim said a bit amazed before his eyes landed on a giant pile of bones. "Hey, check out these huge bones over here! I wouldn't want to meet whatever animal they're from."
"Or who made them."
"Couldn't be less like Heartslabyul." Ace said.
"You can definitely tell the big difference between the two..." (Y/N) said as she stared at the bones.
"Yea, no kidding." Cater said as he agreed with both Ace and (Y/N). "Even the air around here feels so primal. It's like we've left the bounds of civilization immediately."
"Caw! We have officially arrived into the furry den! Careful Tomioka sama!"
"Welcome home Grim."
"Well..he's not wrong."
"So, what does this Jack guy look like?" Ace asked curiously.
"Well, he's not too hard to miss. He's got wolf ears, silver hair, and a big, bushy tail." Cater said as his words made a certain female's dark orbs widen a bit before she latched onto the nearest person's arm. That person, being Deuce.
"H...hey (Y/N) are you ok?" The blue haired male asked her now feeling a bit flustered all while the others seemed to glare at him. Kanzaburou on the other hand already knew what was wrong with the female.
"Caw! Tomioka sama doesn't like canines! She has a bad experience with them! She gets nervous around them." Kanzaburou said as he flew over to Cater making himself comfortable on the male's shoulder.
"Chin up kid, there's nothing to be afraid of!"Grim exclaimed as he jumped on the female's shoulder trying to comfort her.
"Ok, that's kind of cute no need to be scared."
"Wait..what the hell! Why isn't Kanzaburou saying anything to Deuce?!"
"A big bushy tail, hm..." Grim trailed off before his eyes soon landed on a certain male. "Wait, you mean like that guy running laps over there?"
"Woah, good eye there Grim! That's definitely our guy!" Cater said smiling.
"And here I thought those twins were big, but this guy is huge!" Ace exclaimed in shock as he stared at Jack in utter disbelief.
"No wonder all the scouts are after him." Cater pointed out.
"With that kind of build, he'd be an asses on any team." Deuce added now agreeing with both Cater and Ace.
"Caw! Don't break any daylight, let's move it!" Kanzaburou said now on Cater's shoulder.
"Let's hurry and go talk to him." Grim exclaimed as the other agreed all while the raven haired female quietly stared at the silver haired male.
"Hm..."
"Are you getting a little nervous there (Y/N)? Don't worry, Cay-Cay's got your back." Cater said giving her a comforting smile. "I won't let the big bad wolf bite you."
"I'm...not much of a fan of um...." The raven haired female trailed off thinking back on her many back encounters with canines now making her flinch at the thought. "Any dogs in general..."
"Caw! Bite?! If he tries bite her, he'll regret it!"
"Hey you, Mr. Scowls a lot!" Grim yelled now earning the attention of Jack.
"Huh?" The silver haired male raised his eyebrow staring at the group.
"Just wanted to let you know that somebody's probably going to try and hurt you, but don't worry, The Great Grim.." Grim said before he soon pointed over towards the crow. "And my henchman...well henchbird will protect you!"
"Caw! Call me a henchman again and I'll gouge your eyes out here and now!" Kanzaburou said before throwing Grim a glare.
"Word yourself better man." Deuce said as he shook his head disappointedly.
"What?" Jack said slightly taken aback before letting out an grunt. "Look, don't bother me when I'm training."
Ace sighed as he shrugged his shoulders. "Well this was a let down."
"That's your approach, Grim. Seriously? I can't even count all the ways that was terrible. If you were on Magicam, I'd totally unsubscribe from your feed." Cater said as he let out a small sigh.
"Let's just get back on track..." Ace said before letting out another sigh.
"Yea, he's right. No point in wasting broad daylight."
"So sorry about that Jack, but hey, listen, could we have just a minute of your time?" Cater said as he smile at the male.
"What's all this about? You said you wanted to protect me from something?" Jack said as Cater and a few other simply nodded in response.
"A lot of Magift tournament players have been hurt in some accidents on campus lately." Deuce said.
"And we're trying to figure out who's behind it all." Ace then added.
"Go on." Jack said.
"Well to put it bluntly, our plan is to stake out some of the criminal's prospective targets. What do you say? Will you give us a hand in catching this guy?" Cater said.
"No." Jack said as he glared at Cater and the rest of the group. "I can take care of myself. I don't need any of your protection."
"But...what if you need back up?" (Y/N) said as she hesitantly let go of Deuce's arm. "Being alone right now could be dangerous for you...."
"I told you, I don't need your help." He scoffed at the female making her averted her dark blue orbs.

"Hey, back off she's not doing anything to you!" Grim exclaimed now glaring at the male along with angry Kanzaburou.
"Caw! Talk to Tomioka sama like that again and you'll regret it you dingy flea bag!"
"I should of seen an insult coming from a mile away."
"Tch..." Jack scoffed at the two as he that started to walk off. "I doubt I'm going be a target any time soon. Later."
"Aaaaand he's gone." Cater said before letting out a small sigh.
"What a jerk. How are you holding up (Y/N)?" Deuce said as he approached the female.
"Don't worry Deuce, I'm ok. Thank you." She said as she gave the blue haired a small smile.
"So much for helping.."
"Next time, just you wait.."
"Well, I can't say I didn't warn him." Grim said.
"Yea well, you might want to reconsider your approach there guys." Ace said.
"Caw! Well I won't have a guilty conscience if his leg breaks!" Kanzaburou said proudly.
"Hmph! You humans are so difficult about every little thing!" Grim said as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Hey, what are you all doing here?" A Savanaclaw student said as he glared at the group.
"You're all a long way from Heartslabyul Dorm don't you think." A redhead Savanaclaw student then added.
"Heheh, they're probably lackeys sent by Mr. Red Baby!" Another male said making the others laugh.
"Baby? Are they talking about Riddle?"
"Hahah great! Another insult to add to my list!"
"You think you can just barge onto our turf and walk away without paying the price?" The brown haired male growled.
"Hey, it's fine. We were just leaving anyway. Sorry to bother you." Ace said as he apologized to the Savanaclaw students.
"Wow, anyone else having a deja vu moment right now?" Deuce said.
"Yea.." The female muttered as she eyed the Savanaclaw students.
"Aww, don't be like that." The readhead male said. "Stay and play with us first!"
"Yea, let's play Predator and Prey!" The silver haired Savanaclaw student said as he grinned at them. "And guess who gets to be the prey?"
"Cut it out, you three." Someone said. The males eyes widen as they saw Leona now approaching with Ruggie walking along side him.
"It's dorm leader Leona!" One of the male's said.
"These guys here are trespassing on our territory!" The redhead male said.
"Tch, snitch."
"Let's teach them a little lesson!" The silver haired student said to Leona.
"Caw! Do it, I dare you!" Kanzaburou glared at them.
"Oh, I remember you. I believe we met earlier at the cafeteria." Ruggie said as he gave Grim a small lazy smile.
"Hey! It's the Grilled Cheeseburglar!" Grim exclaimed making the sandy blonde haired male chuckle.
"Hey now, friend. Let's not get carried away
with such delicious sounding nicknames. I have a proper name befitting my manly stature. It's Ruggie Bucchi. Don't wear it out." The male said now fully introducing himself.
"Ruggie senpai.." (Y/N) mumbles staring at the male as she was about to walk over to the sandy blonde, ready to headpat him only to be held back by Cater.
"Huh?"
"Hey hey, how about we leave that for next time." Cater told the female as he already knew what she wanted to do. (Y/N) simply stared at the orange haired male before giving him a small nod.
"Ok.." She calmly said agreeing with the male.
Leona looked at them before his eyes landed on the raven haired female now giving her a glare. "Hey, I know you. You're the herbivore who stepped on my tail at the botanical gardens."
"Y...you stepped on the housewarden's tail?" The brown haired student said as he stared at the female in utter disbelief.
"It was an accident." (Y/N) responded in a rather bland tone.
"Caw! Next time don't sleep on the floor!" Kanzaburou exclaimed.
"Now you're really gonna pay!" The redhead said as he glared at the female and the rest of the group.
"Are they death?"
"Well she did say it was an accident.."
"Maybe Kanzaburou isn't helping right now...."
"I already said it was an accident, sorry." (Y/N) said now letting out a sigh.
''Sorry isn't good enough!" The silver haired male growled.
"Oh, that's right. I thought I've seen you from somewhere before." Ruggie said as he glanced at both Kanzaburou and Grim before his eyes landed on (Y/N). "It was at the gardens right?"
"Come on Leona san, Ruggie san. Let's beat them up!"
"I already said I was sorry." The raven haired female furrowed her eyebrows now glaring at the males. "But if you want to make something out of this..." She trailed off as she rested her had on top of the handle of her blade. "I'll gladly oblige."
"Gah! It's the scary face again!" Grim muttered as he stared at the female.
"Caw do it Tomioka sama! Decapitate the furries!" Kanzaburou cried excitedly only for his mood to be killed my Leona.
"W..what?!"
"Stop yapping like a pack of wild dogs. You
really wanna risk starting a fight now before the tournament? What if you all get disqualified?" Leona said as he glared at them.
"Tch, so much for decapitation.."
"What? So you're just gonna let them walk away like that? We can't take even a little nibble out of them?!" The silver haired male exclaimed.
"They wouldn't last long with her..are these guys sure they want to keep at this?"
"No one's letting anyone walk away. We're
going to resolve this over a friendly game of
Magift." He smirked.
"Caw! Friendly? Yea right!" Kanzaburou said
"Tch, If that stupid bird doesn't shut up I'll pluck him clean and eat him..."
"Magift?" The brown haired student said a bit curiously.
"Caw! Yea that's what he said! Try cleaning your ears for once kid!"
"You little-"
"After all, it doesn't violate any school rules to cast spells during a game of Magift." Leona said now cutting off the brown haired student.
"Shishishi!" Ruggie laughed a bit amused. "I doubt these weaklings could endure so much as a single game."
"Well I'm not taking that lying down. Now we've got no choice but to fight." Grim said.
"You say that as if we had a choice to begin
with." The blue haired male muttered.
Ace grinned at Leona already agreeing. "Alright, fine! You're on. Cater senpai! Remember this when you pick the official team!" He exclaimed.
Cater simply shook his head in response as he let out a small sigh. "Are you kidding me? Hashtag lame. Alright, let's do this." The orange haired male said as he then looked back at (Y/N) and Kanzaburou. "(Y/N), Kanzaburou, you guys watch from the sidelines. Try to read their movements and convey it to us ok?"
"Ok senpai." (Y/N) agreed as she now stood off to the side to watch the males.
"Caw! Alright, you got it tangerine head!" The crow said as he perched himself on the female's shoulder.
"Let's start!"

Once the game was over, (Y/N) walked over to her friends who were all panting clearly exhausted from the so called friendly match.
"No way, we didn't even score once!" Ace exclaimed with widen eyes.
"There's not a single weak link in their defensive line!" Deuce said tiredly.
"So much for a friendly match."
"Listen, Leona sweetheart..." Cater said panting a bit in between his words. "Everyone here knows you're a Magift legend. You know we can't compete against you!"
"What's that now? Are you seriously giving up already?" Leona smirked now taunting them a bit.
"Shishishi! Where'd all that swagger go?" Ruggie laughed.
"On your feet, herbivores. We're having a
rematch!" Leona said as he glared at them before (Y/N) stood in front of her friends protectively along with her crow.
"This is enough." (Y/N) glared at the brown haired male. "They're all exhausted so stop this now."
"Caw! That is unless you want to challenge a demon slayer! By all means, go for it you over grown house cat!"
"What's going on here?" Jack's voice was soon heard as he approached them.
"Huh? We're just having a little fun with some trespassers." Leona said as he gave the male a small shrug.
"What's so fun about tormenting a bunch of amateur players?" Jack said now crossing his arms over his chest.
What's this? Well look at you Jack! Heroically standing up for the downtrodden! That's very admirable. Shishishi!" Ruggie teased before he started to laugh once again.
"I'm just saying this is a disgusting display and I don't want to have to see it." Jack grunted in response.
"Well, thanks a lot. Now you've ruined all our fun." Leona said as he rolled his eyes clearly annoyed.
"Whoa, Jack. You do realize who you're talking to, right?"
"If you're gonna play the upperclassman card, you might as well act the part." Jack glared.
"What did you say to me?! You want a piece of this too?!" The male with silver haired growled at Jack.
"That's pretty bold Howl. Hm, I guess I can respect that. Alright, well I'm bored now." Leona said as he let out a small yawn. "Running up the score against you chumps isn't accomplishing a thing." Before walking off with Ruggie followed behind. "Let's go Ruggie."
"Bye bye!" The sandy blonde male said as he grinned at them.
"You all better think twice about invading our territory again!" With that said three Savanaclaw students walked off to who knows where now leaving the group alone with Jack.
"Are you guys ok?" (Y/N) questioned as she looked back at the tired males who simply nodded in response.
"Well, I can't really say that was my finest moment on the field." Cater said as he let out an awkward chuckle.
"Thanks for the help Jack." Deuce said now smiling at the male.
"Save it. I'm not in the business of charity work." The silver haired male grunted.
"Sure.."
"Caw! Yea sure, whatever helps you sleep at night!"
"I'm drenched in mud over here!" Ace exclaimed. "Let's call it a day and go home."
"Yea, I'm getting pretty hungry over here." Grim said.
"Alright Jack, we're taking off now. Don't get into any accidents you hear?" Cater said as he waved at the male.
"You've got a whole lot of nerve to be worrying about me. Now scram already." Jack said as the group now took their leave.
"Be careful..." The female mumbles, but still loud enough for him to hear.

"Mmm..." Grim snored as he talked in his sleep once again. "Did you see that...I totally wrecked them with my power shot..." He mumbled.
"I guess this is something I'll have to get used to..." (Y/N) said quietly to herself as she placed her now sleeping crow on a pillow.
"Sleep well Kanzaburou, you too Grim." She said watching the two sleep peacefully before walking out the room and outside the dorm.
"The moon is beautiful tonight.."
(Y/N) sighed as stared up at the starry night sky and bright moon. "I'll eventually have to go back once Crowley figures out a way for me to go home.." The female mumbles as she hugged her knees close to her chest.
"They won't be happy about my sudden disappearance I'm sure...especially Sanemi.."
"But even so I-" (Y/N)'s words were cut off when she heard some sudden movements coming from trees making her eyebrow furrow as she slowly stood up now alert. She drew her nirichin blade ready to attack whatever was hiding only to have someone gently hold her wrist making her eyes widen.
"Who..is he..."
Right before her stood a rather tall male with pale skin. He had black hair that was cut mid length, with long bangs. He also had one small cowlick on the top of his head and the bottom ends of his hair faded into a dark turquoise color. He had bright green eyes with vertical slit pupils and had pointed elf like ears, and long black horns on the top of his head.
"His eyes are like a demons....Lilia senpai has eyes similar to his.."
"That was close." The male said as he then let go of the female who simply kept her gaze on him.
"Sorry about that..." She mumbled an apology sheathing back her sword before letting out a small sigh. "But you're trespassing and it's late.."
"Well, this is a surprise. A child of man, are you?" The male said as he gave the female a small smile.
"Child...of man?" (Y/N) questioned slightly confused by his words.
"He doesn't seem dangerous and his presence is a bit relaxing....it looks like he's in Diasomnia as well."
"Do you live here? I was under the impression that this dorm has been abandoned for quite some time. I quite enjoyed having a place where I could go to enjoy the peace of solitude." He said.
"Who are you?" (Y/N) questioned curiously as she still stared at the mysterious male before her.
"Who am I?" The male repeated her question as he raised an eyebrow at her. "You really don't know who I am?" He asked sounding a bit shocked before he chuckled a bit. "Interesting. Tell me, what is your name?"
""I'm the dorm prefect and Water Hashira, Tomioka (Y/N)." The raven haired female said as she now introduced herself to the male before her.
"(Y/N)? Hashira? Hm, such an unusual name and title for sure. I am...He said about to introduce himself but soon stopped himself. "No, never mind. I'd rather you remain unaware of my name. It's for your own benefit I assure you. Instead, I will permit you to call me by a name of your choosing. Although you may one day regret it..." He said to the raven haired female.
"I see.." (Y/N) said as she gave him a small nod.
"But alas if you have taken up residence here then this abandoned dorm is no longer abandoned." The mystery raven haired male said as he let out a sigh. "I shall have to find some other ruins for my next nocturnal constitutional. Farewell." He said about to take his leave before feeling a tug on his sleeve.
"Wait." (Y/N) said to the male who simply looked at her curiously. "I would like to apologize again for almost decapitating you, I was a bit...startled is all." She said as she bowed at the male. "I almost did the same thing with Lilia senpai and Riddle too. Then there was those delinquents..." She trailed off in thought.
"Oh...now that I think about it, I tend to do this a lot here."
The male simply chuckled as he listened to her before giving the female a small smile. "Worry not child of man, all is well." He said making the female nod in response. "You do seem to have quite good skills at swordsmanship."
"Thank you.." (Y/N) said before letting go of the male's sleeve. "If you're not busy, you could come over some time and have tea with me or simply just talk. I wouldn't mind it." She said making his green eyes slightly widen at her words.
"I...thank you. I'll look forward to out next meeting. Until then, farewell." And with that he disappeared.
"He's a bit strange but a good strange I guess..."

"You must be tired, Leona san. I've brought you dinner and on the way I got a little work done." Ruggie said with a grin of his face as he gave Leona his food.
"Always there when I need you Ruggie." Leona said to the sandy blonde male.
"Oh, it's a pleasure to be of service to you dorm leader." Ruggie said in an almost mocking tone.
"You always say that don't you? Even though you're really doing this for yourself." Leona said as he questioned the male before him.
"Perish the thought Leona san! It's a pleasure to be of service to our cause. All of us want to turn the world upside down." The sandy blonde chuckled a bit. "That's precisely why the hyenas joined hands with the King of Beasts in the first place. To improve their lot in life forevermore. I'm pretty much doing the same thing."
"Then make sure you're careful on your hunts. Don't leave any evidence behind." Leona warned.
"Shishishi!" Ruggie laughed at his words. "You should know how hyenas work. We pick our prey clean to the bone. Incidentally Leona, any thoughts as to who my next target should be?"
"Oh, I've got an idea." Leona said now earning Ruggie's full attention. "How about a little wolf who likes to eavesdrop?"
"Huh?" Ruggie said as he now looked out the door.
"I know you're there Howl. There's no use in hiding." Leona said as the said male soon appeared before the two.

• Ever since the cafeteria incident, Jade has taken an interest in both (Y/N) and her sword. Kanzaburou included.
• Kanzaburou was ready to gouge Grim's eyes for calling him a henchman.

• Just like she was almost going to fight the twins, (Y/N) was about to fight the Savanaclaw students.

• Cater knew (Y/N) was fully capable of handling herself but preferred if she was safe and not hurt.
