Daniel's Loft
Daniel woke up and for the first time in ages, he felt energised and relaxed. He felt someone shifting beside him. He looked to the side and saw Mia cuddled up to him. He smiled and moved some hair out of her face. "Are you watching me sleep?" Mia asked, eyes still closed. "No. Just romantically gazing." Daniel said. Mia opened her eyes and smiled tiredly at him. "How are you feeling?" Daniel asked. "Still sad. Still feeling grief but it's not as bad." Mia said. Daniel nodded. "And how's the youngest of our little clan?" Daniel asked. "Little clan?" Mia asked.
Daniel shrugged. "I don't know." Daniel said. Mia laughed. "Well, they aren't causing me morning sickness, yet. So, I'd say they're doing good." Mia said. Daniel smiled. "Good to hear." Daniel said. "Davina also said that they might be a boy." Mia said. Daniel looked confused. "How did she know?" Daniel asked. Mia shrugged. "She said it was just a feeling." Mia said. Daniel laughed a little. "Well, we will see when the times comes." Daniel said. "Breakfast!" A voice shouted. It was Emma. "Tell me again why she shouts on a morning?" Mia asked.
"I honestly have no idea." Daniel said. The two laughed and got ready for the day.
Later ~ Mikaelson Mansion
Klaus is holding Hope, talking to her. "What better life might have awaited you, were another man your father? All those who have loved me, have lived to regret it. But I do know this, my littlest wolf, I will do right by you." Klaus said. Elijah approaches Klaus from behind. Klaus doesn't look at him. "What do you want, Elijah?" Klaus asked. "I'm not foolish enough to ask your forgiveness, so I'll say it again..I had no choice. We protect this family at any cost." Elijah said. "You think I' m not aware how heavy that burden is?" Klaus asked.
"No, I think that this time...that burden is simply too much to bear." Elijah said. Klaus has no words. Elijah leaves the room. Somewhere else in the compound, Freya is working on spells. Kol approaches her. "Well, you said you put the Prophecy to rest, so what's the worry?" Kol asked. "I didn't sleep last night. I just had this feeling of dread. I don't know if it' s my own guilt or maybe, it's my intuition telling me something's coming." Freya said.
"And what's this? Your early warning system?" Kol asked. "This map is spelled to trace Niklaus's enemies. Let's just hope I'm being paranoid." Freya said. "Need help?" A voice asked. They both looked over and saw Daniel stood at the door way. "Please." Freya said. Daniel walked over. "I'm still not happy with you. But I don't want you dead." Daniel said. The two join hands and begin to chant. "Calaste piso tal tras es tros. Calaste piso tal tras es tros..." The two chanted. The blood on the map drips to New Orleans, Louisiana from all directions over the world. "I guess you're not being paranoid, when there is, in fact, a hoard of killers there to get you." Kol said.
Later
Elijah walks down the stairs, Kol and Daniel are gathering weapons. Klaus steps into the hall. "Freya's tracking your sirelines now. So it won't be long which works for me. I could use a good fight." Kol said. "Well, we do have an advantage. No vampire may enter this stronghold as long as the deed remains in Freya's name." Klaus said. "So what? We hide in here while the enemies mass at the front gate?" Kol asked. "Well, if they are so determined to die at our hands, let them come." Klaus said. "And plus, we have another advantage." Daniel said.
"And what, pray tell, is that?" Klaus asked. Daniel smirked. "Me." Daniel said. He showed his black eyes with white irises. His skim went pale and his hair darker and the luminous purple veins appeared. "What happened to you?" Klaus asked, shocked by Daniel's transformation. "I'm whole again." Daniel said. Daniel also had his vampire teeth showing. Daniel then turns back to his normal face. Suddenly, Klaus, Kol, Daniel and Elijah hear a struggle upstairs, they run to the gate. A vampire crowd shows up, closes in on the brothers, Marcel enters the compound.
"Never thought it would come to this. But as always, The Mikaelsons made my choice for me." Marcel said. "Marcel, how?" Klaus asked. "How are we in your home? I've friends who can nullify a deed, forclose on a property like that." Marcel said snapping his fingers. "Or did you mean...how am I not a rotting corpse?" Marcel asked. "I thought my friend was dead, and yet here you are. So send these fools away, and let's talk. You and me." Klaus said. "Is that relief I hear? Really? If I hadn't been one step ahead of you, I would be at the bottom of the river." Marcel said.
"Actually, if it wasn't for me, you'd be at the bottom of the river. Just remember, it was me who dragged you from that watery grave." Daniel said. "Marcel, your anger is with me. I'm the one that's responsible for this crime against you." Elijah said. "One thing I learned sticking around this family, Elijah, you take on one of you, you are taking on all of you. These guys, Klaus's sirelings, they're here to bear witness today." Marcel said. "Are you planning to put on a little show, Marcellus?" Kol asked. "Damned sure I am. The Fall of The Mikaelsons. And guess what, the show has already started." Marcel said.
Daniel saw that one of the vampires was making their way towards him. But Daniel was faster. Daniel sped in front of them and placed his and on their chest. His hand glowed purple. Purple veins travelled up the vampire as they screamed out in pain. The vampire then turned to ash and a blue floating orb was left. Daniel gripped the orb and absorbed it. Daniel turned to Marcel and and smirked, his Grim Reaper face showing. "Like my new trick?" Daniel asked rhetorically.
Kol approaches Marcel. "I know you're hurt. I loved Davina, too. And it would break her heart to see you like this." Kol said. Marcel pointed at Kol. "Don't mention her name. If it weren't for you, she'd still be alive." Marcel said. Kol knocks Marcel's hand down. "But she's not. This is an insult to her memory." Kol said. They start a fight, the crowd is yelling. Marcel bites Kol, while Elijah, Daniel and Klaus are watching in horror. Marcel snaps Kol's neck and tosses him away. "Kol." Klaus said.
Elijah starts a vicious fight by trying to punch Marcel with vamp-speed, Marcel appears to side step the attack. Klaus jumps into the fight with a right hook, only for Macel to duck & grab his hand. Marcel then turns to face Elijah in time to kick him away before he can land a punch. The momentary distraction allows Klaus to land a couple of blows. Marcel answers back with a powerful punch, that sends The original hybrid flying into the wall behind him. Elijah takes over. Marcel bites Elijah's arm. The crowd is cheering. Daniel looks at a group of vampire last that cheered the loudest and used his magic to set them on fire. Klaus is watching helplessly. Marcel throws Elijah across the room. Klaus hybrid face appears, as he rises to his feet. Marcel invites klaus with a gesture for Klaus to bring it. Klaus charges at Marcel with Vamp-speed. Suddenly Rebekah shows up and interferes.
"STOP!" Rebekah shouted. "Rebekah." Marcel said. Rebekah looked at Klaus and Daniel. "Hayley and Mia have Hope and Freya. Take our brothers and go now. Marcel will not hurt me." Rebekah said. She looks at Marcel. "Not, if he knows what's good for him." Rebekah said. Klaus takes his brothers and they leave on vampire speed. Daniel goes to leave but Marcel stopped him. "Stay away from Mia! Or I'll kill you too." Marcel said, threatening him. Daniel turned to Marcel and sped over to him. He threw Marcel across the room using his magic. But this time it was different. Purple wisps were seen when Daniel threw Marcel.
"You don't tell me what to do. I won't stay away from her because I love her. And I won't stay away from her because she is carrying my child." Daniel said. Marcel and Rebekah were shocked by this. "So, if you threaten me again. I'll kill you." Daniel said. "You can't kill me. I'm an original now." Marcel said. Daniel laughed humourlessly. "The ancestors wanted me to become this. The real me. I'm was powerful enough to make Lucien a normal vampire again. What makes your so sure that I can't do the same to you?" Daniel said. Marcel suddenly had fear running in his veins but he didn't show it.
Daniel sped out of the compound. Rebekah inspects her wrist with the cursed skull branded on it. "I've only got a short while before I go mad. So your explanation better be quick and it better be good." Rebekah said.
Lucien's Penthouse
Hayley, Mia and Freya are searching for the antidote. "It's not here. I can't find it." Freya said. "Calm down. Freya, think. When you were poisoned before, Klaus stole an antidote from Lucien. It has to be here." Hayley said. "There's no other place to look. If I can't find the cure, I will die." Freya said. The Mikaelson brothers, plus Daniel burst into the appartment, Kol badly wounded between them. "Freya!" Klaus shouted. Hayley sees Elijah's wound. "Elijah!" Hayley exclaimed. "Don't. We deal with it later." Elijah said. Kol slumps on the sofa and gasps. "I am going to die." Kol said. Hope starts crying. Daniel rushed over to her. He picked her up and manages to calm her down.
"You're not going to die." Klaus said. Kol chuckled. "Now that sounds familiar. Isn't that what you said to Finn and Cami?" Kol asked. "Look, Lucien engineered his venom from the seven werewolf packs, so maybe, that's the key to a cure." Klaus said. "Oh great, that's the first piece in a puzzle none of us will be alive to solve. I'm poisoned, Rebekah is hexed, and our brothers are bitten. We need three different cures to three different ailments, each of which could take years to find, and none of us will make it through the day." Freya said. Daniel sighed in frustration as he held Hope close. Mia walked over to him. "Are you alright?" Mia asked. Daniel nodded. Mia took Hope in her arms and hugged her.
Later
Freya is taking care of a sweating Kol on the sofa. "You know, maybe it's fair that you and I pay for what was done to Davina." Kol said. "No, Davina didn't want revenge, okay?" Freya asked. "Just put me out of my misery! At least put me to bloody sleep!" Kol said. Freya suddenly forms a plan in her head. "Daniel!" Freya called out. Daniel sped next to her. "What?" Daniel asked. "I may have a plan. I need your help." Freya said. Freya explained her plan. Suddenly, Kol started thrashing about and started shouting. "No! Davina please! No, don't leave me!" Kol shouted delirious.
They all rush to Kol to hold him down. "Shh-shh." Elijah shushed Kol in a soothing manner. "There may be a way to save them." Freya said. "Then I will move the world to make it so." Klaus said. "Me and Daniel need time." Freya said. "You think I should stand trial before that death-dealing mob?" Klaus asked. "Well, that's the easy part. In order to save your family, you need to come out of that trial alive." Daniel said.
Later
Freya is writing a spell down with Daniel helping her, Kol suffers a delirium. "No! Don't hurt her!" Kol shouted. "Freya! It's getting worse." Hayley said. "Don't hurt her, Davina!" Kol shouted. "Calm down, calm down, okay?" Hayley said to Kol. "Davina is gone. She's gone." Kol cried out. "She's at peace now. It's okay." Hayley said. Kol grabbed Hayley's throat and started to strangle her. Elijah comes over to help. "Brother! Calm yourself." Elijah commanded. He then looked at Hayley. "Are you okay?" Elijah asked. Hayley nodded slightly. "Yeah, I'm fine." Hayley said.
Later
Freya looks after Kol whilst Daniel finishes off writing the spell. Hayley's phone is ringing. "Rebekah, is it over?" Hayley asked. "found a way to stay alive. Our plan worked. Now it's up to you, Hayley. Make his sacrifice count." Rebekah said. "I will, hang thight. I'll come for you soon." Hayley said. Elijah, Kol, Hayley, Daniel, Mia and Freya are gathered around the table. A paper with all names of the siblings is on it. "Rebekah's dagger. It has her blood." Freya said. Reciting incantation, all are holding hands, Freya's and Daniel's chanting louder and louder untill the Mikaelson spirits are gone, and Hayley, Mia and Daniel are watching them lifeless, Rebekah also falls in Hayley's apartment. Daniel sighed. "I'll go get the coffins." Daniel said. Hayley nodded.
Later
Hayley looks at the coffins of The Mikaelsons in the back of the truck. She gives a finger kiss to Elijah before she closes the lid. She looks over at Daniel and Mia. "I'll meet you guys there. I've gotta detour I need to stop at." Daniel said. "Where?" Mia asked. "Some old friends." Daniel said. Hayley and Mia step in the cabin, Hayley puts Hope's safety belt on and starts the engine. There's the letter from Klaus to Hope in sight.
"My dearest Hope. I do not know how this will find you. As a child full of wonder, a teenager full of opinions, or a woman with the world at her feet. I write to tell you that I love you, and to explain that in our family's darkest hour, I was called upon to save my siblings, and so I did." Klaus's voice over said. "Please, do not mourn me. Whatever pain I endure, I do in service of those I love. My sole regret is that I will be away from you." Klaus's voice carried on. "Be good to your mother." Klaus's voice said.
Hope is sitting in the truck, watching Hayley drive. She looks over at Mia who is looking out of the window. "I draw comfort knowing that she will protect you. And I know her, Daniel and Mia will not rest until our family is united..." Klaus's voice said. "...until then, my sacrifice will allow you to grow. To become the beautiful daughter I can now only imagine..." Klaus's voice said. Hayley and Mia leave the city limits of New Orleans, driving the truck. Daniel also leaves the city limits but drives in a different direction to them. "...Please remember that you are the legacy this family has always desired, the promise we fought to protect. You are, and always will be....our hope." Klaus's voice said.
A few hours later, Daniel is still driving when he comes upon a familiar sign. One he smiles to slightly.
