"I'm sorry Mr David but I don't understand why I'm getting transfer"
I was called by my boss all of a sudden only to hear that I'm being transferred to another branch, which I surely object, yet at the same time I don't want to be rude, but before I get transferred I feel it's better to know the reason behind this..
"Ms bae I truly appreciate your work and your contribution of your hardwork since 3 years, and me handling this company wasn't easy without you, you played a big role behind the success of our company, but as you know we have another branch in Korea and that's kinda facing problem because of lack of best managers and employees, so I'm transferring you there but don't worry so of other employees are being transferred, I choose you because you're already from Korea and it'll might be piece of cake for you to work there, hope you understand"
I closed my eyes hearing what Mr David said, it's true it would be a piece of cake for me to work there " thank you Mr David for your kind words, I'll accept your proposal"
3 DAYS LATER
The plane landed to my home country, where once I used to live, but I guess it's faith that brought me back here, I took out my phone and texted her
" I'm here where are you ? "
👤: I'm almost there, wait for me
"Make it fast or else I'm taking a cab"
👤: Don't you dare
I closed my phone and kept it back on my bag, it's been 10mins she texted me, soon my patience broke and I called out for a cab, I looked around to find her but after looking for few mins I found her getting out of her car waving at me
"HERE" she yelled gaining everyone's attention who were outside the airport prolly waiting for someone or cab
"You don't need to yell" I said as soon as I walked to her, but I was bought in bone crashing hug "stop I can't breathe"
"Wow seriously that's what you say after returning for fucking 4 years ?"
"I didn't went their for fun you know that and now if you're done let's go" I told and sat in the car she did as well. "You're still cold come on melt ms cold woman"
I chuckled at her comment she still the same . I looked out of the window it's still the same beautiful as ever . I took a deep breath inhaling the air of korea after 4 years, I rested my head back to take nap . After about 30 mins of nap I was wokeup from the nap by her shaking me to death " you could have done it in better way"
"Whatever we're here babe let's go" I took my luggage from the trunk and we walked in her house where I'll be currently staying for how many days? God knows
I looked around the house after I walked in everything looked the same but just some changes
"Get fresh up after we'll go and meet soobin" she says as I smile. She walked up to the couch and sat leaning her head in her hand "you what he missed you a lot he has been whinning to meet you as I told him that you're coming" she grins
"Alright let's go" I went to my room to take a shower "BTW IT'S A SECRET FOR MINA LET'S SURPRISE HER" I heard her yelling from downstairs
After taking a hot shower, we ate something then headed out to meet soobin
We reached their home and yeri ranged the bell, I was hiding behind her if in case Mina will open the door, the door opened as expected Mina was standing there
"Oh you are here come in" she told yeri
"I'll but close you eyes for a sec"
"Why is there anything you bought for me ?"
"Umm not a thing but do still" she grins
As soon as Mina closed her eyes, she pulled me I front to her, so that now I was facing Mina whose eyes were still closed
Mina opened her eyes and stood there with widened eyes, she gasps her hands on her mouth
" Umm hi! " I smiled awkwardly waving at her
" OMG YN YOU GUYS ARE NOT FUCKING KIDDING ME" she immediately pulled me in her arms "I missed you" I stroke get back "I miss you too"
"Wow yn you traitor you didn't even tell me you missed me wow and you're being lovel dovely with mina, I feel betrayed" yeri makes sounds of fake crying in front of us
"YNIEEE " there he was running to me squealing as soon as he saw me, he ran into my arms I picked his small figure in my arms
"Omg soobin baby you're grown up"
"I know dada said I'm a big man "
" Yes baby you're " I put him down and ruffled his hair I grin looking at the small boy
" Yk what yn my son loved you more than me, he literally talk about you whole day like wow I'm non existing for him"
" No mama soobin LoVeS yOu " he kissed Mina on her cheeks
" Umm I guess we should head in"
We headed inside and catch up after for being a part for along time, soobin has grown up so big, he was just a baby when I left korea, Mina used to video call me regularly because his beloved son wants to talk to me, it's been literally 5 years that everything changed my life ...
I told yeri that I want to meet my mom she insisted to drop me but I refused I want to take bus and just walk around .. ..
I ranged the bell soon it was opened by a lady none other than my mom standing in front of me grinning in tears, she hugs me immediately, god I got so many hugs today interesting "how are you, you could have informed me that you're coming"
"Umm sorry mom I was busy with packing" she brings a glass of water for me as I drank "you're staying in Korea right" it broke my heart seeing them grinning in tears after they saw me in person for almost ages, yet I can't assure that I'll be staying here or return back Canada after my work is done
I told my mom how my work was in Canada and I can't assure that I'll stay or leave, it somehow made me her sad but didn't showed it to me
"Where are they ?" I asked my mom for my sisters as I noticed that the home felt silent
"Ahhh they went out for some work"
I felt so awkward being here and had nothing to talk about, I just wanted to escape from everyone and be alone . I spend time with my mom and sister for almost 2 hours and bid them goodbye
"You're leaving for work?" I asked as soon as I walked downstairs "yep I can't take a leave sorry I'll try to be early" she says munching the breakfast in hurry
"You don't have to come early because of me, take your time,I have work to do" I sat beside her she just shrugs.
She knows I lied I chuckled I wonder how well she knows me I want her to return early cause I really have nothing to do, I asked Mr David whether I can work after 4-5 days, He gladly didn't deny. "Alright I'm running late bye call me if you need anything" she gathered everything in her hands and left from the front door leaving me alone . I sigh and looked around the house I'm all alone, I went to take a shower and came back to eat my breakfast. Till afternoon I spend my time either watching Netflix or playing games, time flew fast which went unnoticed by me, I walked into the kitchen as my stomach made noises .
After eating something I came in the living room only to find my phone ringing. It was mina, I quickly accepted the call
" Hello yn how you doing? "
" Well good ig just had something wbu "
" I'm fine, I just called you to ask you if you could pick soobin from school, I'm stuck at work and same with hyunjin"
" Ofcourse I would love to just text me the address"
" Alright "
I quickly went in my room and wore a cardigan on the top and hop on the car
Mina texted me the address, I smiled foundly remembering how fast soobin has grown up..
I halted the car and checked if I was on right address. I was right, I got of the car and looked around for soobin, there were many children running towards their parents, I walked in so that I can find soobin . After looking for a while I found him sitting on a bench but not alone but with a girl beside him, I grin and walked towards him
" Soobin baby what are you doing here"
He stood up as soon as he saw me and ran into my arms grinning cutely
" ynnie whacht are you douing hwere"
I ruffled his hair "why aren't you happy to see your ynnie ?"
"Sho happwy" he said extending his hands wide showing me he's really a big happy
"Ynnie she's eunji " I looked at the girl beside him, she was holding her bag in her tiny arms and her bangs falling on her eyes making her look 10× adorable
" Hello I'm eunji " she bowed at me as respect I crouched down at her level
" Hello eunji I'm yn " I brought my hand forward for handshake
I hold her tiny hands in mine god she's so adorable..
"Where are your parents?" She pouted when I asked her
" Daddy is latew againn " she said looking down sadly
" Don't be sad maybe he's really busy he might be on the way, okay how about we eat ice-cream till your father arrives" I told her if she could cheerup, but more than that both the kids started squealing excited for ice-cream..
I told them to wait here, ofcourse I can't take her with me, her father might arrive anytime and he'll be worried not to find his daughter here..
I drove to the nearest ice cream parlour and bought 3 ice creams for each ..
"Here you go kids " I gave them ice-cream. After I finished I looked at them their faces were a mess kids surely don't know how to eat, I ran into my car and took some tissues to clean their faces " you want me to call your dad? Do you remember his phone no.? " She shook her head sadly
" DADDY IS HERE " she yelled pointing at the car that just stopped near the gate she ran towards the car, I was about to walk towards her dad, but the grip around my hand stopped me, I crouched down at his level " yes baby "
" Ynnie soobin wants to go homew and play with you "
I cupped his face " alright let's go"
By the time I turn around to look at eunji the car was already gone maybe she left . I wanted to talk with her father how sad she was because he arrived late but maybe next time ...
The day spent well with soobin, I was so happy to see him, he's my favourite boy, after I returned home yeri was already home munching food in her mouth " god eat calmly yeri no one is taking your food away " I sat on the couch watching her
"I know and no one will dare, I'm just so hungry" I chuckled "you're always hungry" I whispered which went unheard by her. She offered me some bite but I refused, I told her I already had something at mina's home ...
"Yn when are you starting your work again?" she asks as she sat beside me after doing the chores " why are you already want me to get out from here" I said nonchalantly I wasn't even fully focused on her as I was reading something on my phone. She elbow me "it's not like that I was just asking cause you stay alone after I leave for work you might get bore" I kept the phone aside "you're stronger than before, and I'll be working after 2 days" I stood up streching my hands up
" I want to for a walk wanna come ? "I offered her, she rested her head on her hand, with her hand on pillow, she looked at me from top to bottom with judging look
"It's seriously 8 pm you wanna go now ?"
"Yeah so what ?"
"Yn I'm tired please" she started throwing her legs whinning, but I just grab her hand dragging her outside while she still refusing.. .

It's been four days since I return to Korea, starting from today I decided I should finally continue to work, I informed Mr David that I'll be continuing from today, he was okay with I'm comfortable. Having David in my life is amazing I got to learn a lot from him, he's also a good friend of mine, after moving to Canada I gave a lot of interviews for employment but he was the one who gave me job, his company was pretty cool, like you can learn many things from him, he's a great father, a great husband, a great friend and as well as a great boss....
"When your office hours ends ?" Yeri asks as she placed our breakfast on the dining table, I took a bite and hummed in satisfaction cause it was really tasty
"I don't know why?
" Maybe I can pick you ?"
"Don't worry I'll take a bus it's been a while" she scoffs " says the one who returned after 4 fucking years " she mumbled under her breath, maybe she thought I didn't heard her but I did
"Looks like you missed korea so much" she says, I finished my last bite and pressed my lips together "I didn't infact I'm looking to go back soon after Mr David wants me to come "
"What if he doesn't want to?"
" Well then I'll just run back and beat the shit out of him " she grins

Today was the first day of work here, it went pretty well, and guess what I got an assistant thanks to Mr David it made my work more easy. The company's interior design was so beautiful, and my cabin god I already love it, I spent the whole day meeting with employees and checking out the files which Mr David told me. I wonder why don't he just come here, afterall it's his company, but maybe he's too busy with personal life, I heard that his wife is in labour, and that's the reason I didn't refused to work here, caused ofcourse he should be with his wife right now. My work for today was done. I informed yeri that I'm done and I'm taking the bus ...
I walked out of the company and started walking towards bus stop which was 5-6 mins far from the company. I stopped myself as the signals hit green light, cars started moving, I patiently waited for the signals to hit red light. My phone started buzzing. Yeri was calling me
"Where are you ? "
"I'm about to reach the bus stop" the signals hit red light I saw a lot of people standing across the road to cross the road, they started to cross the road
" I would have come to pick you yn you never listen to me " the crowd started to clear, there stood a person who I wish I never met, his steps halted when our eyes met.
" Yn are you listening to me ? " My eyes started to fill with tears, all those flashbacks hit me, all those years I was holding up my emotions, which are bottled up, suddenly broke, as soon as I saw him. He looked at me like he was looking at a stranger, my body started to tremble, I took a step forward, but he took a step back, turning around and left without crossing the road. I saw his figure slowing fading away while he was talking on his phone, phone? Yeah right phone
"yn can you hear me ? " I put the phone on my ear and wiped the tears from my left hand
"Yeah, I'll be there don't worry "
A/n : I feel like the end turned out pretty well I guess, thanks to bestie, she suggested a book called" IT ENDS WITH US " it helped me alot to improve my English, and to tell her " BITCH ATLAS IS STILL MINE "
