The Royal Navy seemed desperate, seeing as the ship they were chasing had sunk their best ship, the HMS Hood as pride of British naval prowess. As such they had just deployed a prototype aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal. The carrier deploys it's planes, Swordfish Biplanes that were very outdated. The Swordfish weave through the incoming Flak fire from the Bismarck's Anti-air guns. As the rickety planes dodge Flak fire, they get close enough to drop their torpedoes. As the torpedoes travel, the Swordfishes pull up as their hind gunners await their payload to hit the mark. An infinitesimal pause and a boom erupts on the side of the ship, an enormous tower of water billows to accompany it.
This thunderous strike hit the rear end of Bismarck, disabling his rudders. This was caused with only one torpedo that hit, the rest had either missed or weren't set off. Back to the rudders, the damage forced the gear 12° portside. This caused the ship to steer in a circle, repairs to fix the rudders proved futile. The crew of the ship tried to alleviate the problem by alternating the power of the three propellers which, with force 8 wind and sea state, forced the ship against the two British ships pursuing him. The two British battleships, HMS Rodney and HMS King George V, had been following the Bismarck from the west for quite a while and now they were ready to strike. At 23:40, the Bismarck's admiral, Günther Lütjens, signalled to the German west group "Ship immanoeuvrable. We will fight to the last shell. Long live the Fuhrer." and with it was the last known contact from the KMS Bismarck to German command.
Throughout the night, the Bismarck was subject to multiple torpedo attacks by British destroyers. The Bismarck retaliated with shellfire from his guns, shearing Cossacks antenna and straddling Zulu, wounding three, though it proved mostly ineffective. The destroyers didn't score any hits though, but the worrying tactics lowered the morale of the German sailors on board even more.
For the rest of dawn and night, fighting would stop and both sides brace for the inevitable in the coming morning.
At 8:47 May 27, the British fleet close in on Bismarck's location, Admiral Tovey as the one orchestrating the sinking of Bismarck, ordered for the fleet to encircle the Bismarck so it will split it's fire between multiple ships. Rodney was the first to engage in combat once more firing her guns, King George V following in shellfire. Bismarck was still incapacitated, however still returned fire with his guns directed at Rodney, straddling her. Not long after, Rodney shot at Bismarck with her guns and the shot connected with the German battleship's superstructure. The shot damaged the main gun control and almost decimated the high command with the impact and blast. The fire control station had also been destroyed so the alternate fire control station took over, however that too was destroyed with a third volley from Rodney.
By 9:30, all of Bismarck's guns fell silent.
The ocean rocks as the British fleet relentlessly fires against a behemoth of a battleship. The behemoth ship, the KMS Bismarck, had sunk the HMS Hood, another behemoth and the pride of the royal navy. By now, the fleet was well into winning over the Bismarck, having incapacitated his rudder, guns, and destroying the top command. All it was left was to strike the final string holding the beaten battleship together. The highest ranking member of the tattered ship finally orders for the ship to be riddled with scuttling charges. Soon, the order is recognized and the sailors set the bombs. No sound but the waving ocean after the guns had fired. A fiery boom sounds signalling the end of the KMS Bismarck.
The ship once known as the flagship of German pride, was now only a shell of what it used to be. Forever bound to the depths of the Atlantic. The ship was sunk to scuttling charges, about 2,800 shells were fired by the British to put down the Terror of the Seas.

Off the coast of a shore, a man wakes to the surrounding sea. The man stood up, scanning the area. His attire consisted of a grey jacket with shoulder pads, grey pants and black shoes, and a grey peaked cap. His attire closely resembled the one his captain, Lindemann, wore. Though it was quite different due to its size being adjusted so his bulky figure wont rip it, and the fact that he had the German flag fluttering proudly on his back as if it were a cape with some wolf fur at the neck portion for more flash. If anything, he would be described as a bodybuilder.
Another thing about him was that he had floating guns around him. Two dual barrelled cannons on each of his sides. Over his shoulders were an assortment of Anti air Flak cannons and heavy calibre machine guns. And of course, a main center piece of his equipment was a wide, one-sided claymore on his left side. It was grey with a red accent.
After examining himself, he spotted the nearest land and chose to go towards it. As he was getting closer he saw civilization, military civilization. With this knowledge he prepared himself for the worst. This supposed worst was not going to happen, since he only saw one other person moving towards him, hovering above water. Noticing this, he realizes that he too was floating on water, though it came naturally and wasn't as surprising. Moving from that thought, he and the other moved closer to each other, both with their own intention.
Earlier, 10:00
In the Iron blood HQ, Bismarck was in her office, she had just finished her breakfast and was taking a break. Looking out the her window, she sees a lone ship wandering the sea. At first, she thought this was an attack by Azur Lane. However, upon closer inspection she saw that his attire was akin to hers. She checked her radars to see if her eyes were lying, and they weren't. She got curious and so she commanded Prinz Eugen to accompany her to confront the stray ship. "Prinz Eugen, you are to follow me to confront a stray ship I have spotted." she said into a microphone. After a while, Bismarck and Prinz Eugen met up at the docks, and with a brief discussion went off to meet the mystery man.
A while after, back at present, Bismarck approached the man, with the man standing still. "It seems there were two of you." the man said. "Please state your name, allegiance, and type." Bismarck said back. "Fine. I am a dreadnought battleship and I serve the Kriegsmarine." the man said, Bismarck only said in reply, "Name?" The man said with pride in his voice, "KMS Bismarck, is my name. what are yours?" Eugen was shocked, more so than before seeing as first there was a ship boy and now the said ship boy shares a name with her superior. "My name is Bismarck, too." the Iron blood lord said in reply. The new Bismarck only nodded.
"Well, we're gonna have to come up with something new so we don't get confused." Prinz Eugen suggested, breaking the silence. Both Bismarck's thought for a moment, the male suggesting 'Iron Chancellor' as to honour what he was named after. The Iron blood ship agreed as no one else present knew what to call him. "Wait, who is this 'Iron Chancellor'? If we are thinking of the same person." the Iron blood Bismarck asked. "Otto von Bismarck, German chancellor and the man who unified Germany." the Chancellor replied, this satisfied Bismarck's curiosity. "Then, let's call you Otto." Prinz Eugen suggested. The man who looked like M. Bison merged with Von Stroheim seemed to protest the idea, but he thought it would be better.
With everything settled, Bismarck and Prinz Eugen led Otto towards the base for interrogation. Soon, they arrived at the HQ and into a cellar. There, the questioning began. Bismarck supervised the interrogation while Prinz Eugen did the talking. Prinz Eugen and Otto sat down across from each other with a table in-between them. "Again, I would like for you to state your name and ship type." Prinz Eugen said, "KMS Bismarck, German battleship." was the man's reply.
"Who do you work for?"
"Kriegsmarine."
"What is the Kriegsmarine?"
"The German navy."
"Are you lying or schizophrenic? There are only four factions, Iron Blood, Eagle Union, Royal Navy, and Sakura Empire. So stop spitting nonsense and tell what side you're on."
"I have no idea who those are, however I am willing to work with you."
"Oh well, we'll see about that. Anyway, do tell why you share a name with my superior."
"Because it's my name. If anything, we seem quite alike."
"You have some gall, comparing yourself with Bismarck."
This went on for a couple more hours. It concluded with Otto telling of his battle with the Hood, and his battle with the rest of the fleet a few days after. He told of the tragedy that befell him and the glory and respect he had prior. He was quite straightforward, intimidating, and prideful. The interrogation was done and Otto swore his allegiance to the Iron Blood. Right after, Prinz Eugen suggested for lunch, and so all three went.
They went into a nearby café and took a table, Otto standing out like a sore thumb. Bismarck went up from her seat and took the orders of her two colleagues and went to order. While waiting, Otto was listening to a song on his Walkman that he found on his pants' pocket. A little into the song, Prinz Eugen got curious, so she took the headphones and started listening to it on one ear, much to Otto's dismay. The song was Take It Easy by The Eagles, a good song by Prinz Eugen's standards. Otto then stole his headphones back and went straight back to listening to his music. He then stopped it and inserted another audio cassette and leaned back. Looking out a nearby window, he wondered what on earth will happen now that he has a human form? Only time can tell. For now, he would need to explore.

Welp, if you read this far, thank you. this is a pretty cool story idea I came up with and hopefully you enjoyed it. Any better names for Otto/Bismarck would be greatly appreciated. Updates may be slow though, but hopefully you remember this story. Oh yeah, sorry for the short chapter.
Thank you for reading!
