"Shivaay let me take one step ahead", Anika requested
"No you will not", Shivaay said
"Why are you behaving like this? I am not a child", Anika said angrily
"For me you are ", Shivaay said
"Can I", Anika asked after a minute
"No, if you want you can stand behind me", Shivaay said to which Anika replied with an ok. Shivaay stood on edge of the door and Anika behind him. When Anika noticed people passing from behind she feared what if someone by mistake pushed them and Shivaay fell. and what if he fell near a cliff? Even a small bruise on his body will scare her.
"Come back, s..stand away", Anika said and pulled Shivaay back by his arm
"What happened ?", Shivaay asked showing that he don't know anything, but in reality, he knew what she must be thinking. A while ago he was thinking the same so he thought to tell her indirectly why he was stopping her. He never travelled via train till now but he has heard many accident cases like this.
"I was scared, what if someone pushed me and you.. ", Anika said but Shivaay interrupted her
"I was having the same fear. Now if you had enough then can we sit? ", He asked. Anika replied in a yes and they both walked back to their seat.
"Need something", Shivaay asked sitting beside her
"No let's have dinner ", Anika said
"I am not hungry. If you are hungry you can ", Shivaay said
"Even I am not that hungry", Anika replied and intertwined their fingers together. She started to look outside, Shivaay smiled watching her.
"Station", Anika said when she noticed the train stopping near one station. They were looking out and watching how there was hustle and bustle in the station when they heard the voice of a girl child who was asking her father where they will sit.
Hiee", Anika greeted that girl
"Hello. Who are you?", Asked that girl
"I am Anika and you?", Anika asked
"Papa can I tell her my name?", Asked that girl from her father to which that man nodded
"I am Riya. I am 8 years old. Next month I will turn 9", that girl said excitedly. Anika laughed hearing her and looked at Shivaay, Shivaay nodded as he understood she wants to continue talking with a stranger. He doesn't have any problem till they don't touch her.
"Your daughter is cute hana", Anika said to Riya's father first and then turned towards Riya
"Call me didi ok", Anika asked Riya
"You don't look like her sister. Look at the age gap once", Shivaay said and giggled hearing Anika's words
"Call him uncle", Anika said angrily
"Uncle?", asked Riya to which Anika nodded and giggled hearing uncle for Shivaay but it looked like it didn't bother him. Shivaay started using his mobile phone.
"She called you uncle Shivaay", Anika said and placed her hand on his shoulder. Shivaay looked toward Riya and waved his hand toward her.
"No problem. I'm married so obviously I'm an uncle for children now", Shivaay said
"But you are young. And you are not uncle ", Anika said to him and turned toward the girl
"Call him brother", Anika said.
"Ok let's play catch catch ", asked the girl holding an empty bottle. Anika nodded and asked her to throw and they started to play, Riya asked Shivaay and her father to play but they both denied.
"Both are boring. Leave them let's play", Anika said in a childish voice. Shivaay put his earphones on his ears and started watching a movie.
After some time Riya told her father that she is sleepy so Anika stopped playing with her and started looking outside as Shivaay was busy on his mobile phone with earphones. After 5 minutes Shivaay felt her head over his shoulder and noticed her sleeping. He took his earphones off and asked her about dinner.
"Anika have dinner first", Shivaay said but Anika didn't answer, he understood she is sleeping now so he kissed her forehead and layed her on her seat. He was not sleepy so he didn't open his seat and it might disturb her as well. He thought he will manage with her in one seat. He took out a blanket from the bag and covered her. He noticed that the man and his daughter also sleeping. He walked towards the door and noticed trees moving with speed, cold wind was looking peaceful to him. Like him many other people were awake and were roaming here and there, he smiled thinking about his first trip with her.
He went on trips many times but those were businesses where he was not excited, this time he is excited as most of the time they both are busy and get little time to talk with each other. He went with Omru as well and enjoyed but with her, everything is different because she is not his sibling but his wife.

Anika woke up and noticed the time it was 5 in the morning and the train was stopped. She checked Shivaay was not here so she stood up, ready to search for him when he came back with a cup in his hand
"Didn't you sleep?", Anika asked as he didn't open his seat
"No I can't sleep on the train so was awake ", Shivaay replied and set her hair by tucking her loose hair strands behind her ear. Anika took his cup and started having tea. She loves having his things rather than her own.
"Had Dinner?", asked Anika
"Had pakora in the last station. Sorry for eating alone. I was hungry. Want to have aloo Puri now?", Shivaay asked
"It's nice that you had something. Don't stay hungry when I'm hungry. You should not skip meals ok? Had medicines?", Anika asked softly and caressed his cheeks and hair.
"I am having it right now. That time my stomach was empty that's why I skipped medicines", Shivaay reasoned
"Well done. How many stations came in between? Why you didn't purchase anything for yourself? Didn't you get anything better to fill your stomach? If you wanted then you could have eaten something else as well", Anika said angrily
"Anika shops were closed believe me. And there rather than pakora, no good thing was prepared in the last station. At night nobody was awake there", Shivaay reasoned. Anika nodded as she knows at midnight most of the stations are empty. She has travelled by train many times so she knows.
"Then in our bag aloo Puri was there", Anika said
"But I thought to wait for you", Shivaay said
"For the fight, you have a tongue but not when it comes to having food. Now you will finish aloo Puri without any argument", Anika said and started pulling the bag which is below the seat but was struggling to pull it, Shivaay helped her and said
" Your anger can't pull this out. You need my help see", Shivaay said and pulled the suitcase out.
"And I will not eat it alone. Even if you are hungry, I am not selfish who will have everything after knowing my wife is also hungry", Shivaay said and gave her a tiffin box and placed the suitcase below the seat again
"Ok, I will eat with you but I will divide the share, you will eat more than me. Don't skip medicine like this", Anika said
"Ok", Shivaay said and peeked her lips after checking if someone is watching them or not. Anika blushed and turned her face towards the window. Shivaay tasted aloo Puri and forwarded one bite toward her face.
"Have it", he said
"Now I will not eat if you stopped feeding me", Anika said
"You are behaving like you are little than that child", Shivaay said pointing toward Riya
"Riya", Anika told him her name and opened her mouth. Shivaay started feeding her with a smile, he does point her antics out but he loves her every antic.
"Byee", Anika shouted and waved her hand at people from the window who were waiting for the train to go. Anika waved her hand toward a few people who were running in a group.
"You are mad", Shivaay said
"Do it once ", Anika requested, Shivaay shooked his head and noticed that girl waking up
"Good morning Riya", Anika wished her
"Good morning... Sorry I forgot your name", Riya apologized
"It's ok I told you to call me di. Have chips", Anika said and opened the packet of chips which Shivaay purchased yesterday night
"Ok di thank you", said Riya and started munching chips with Anika. Riya woke her father up and after some time her father asked
"Do you need anything from the next station baby?", Asked Riya's father from Riya
"What about you baby?", Shivaay whispered near Anika's ear mimicking him. Anika blushed hearing the word baby as he never used cheezy words for her instead, he never gave her a nickname so this sounds special to her. Shivaay also realised it late when he noticed her blush, he doesn't like using these types of words but today he felt this word suited her well.
"She is like a baby", Shivaay thought
"Nothing I have enough ", Anika replied
"Can I sit with her?", asked Riya from her father
"Y... yes", her father replied
"Where is her mother? Why are you travelling alone", Anika asked
"Anika", Shivaay said and pressed her arm tightly to tell her she is wrong to ask this question. Anika looked at him and then towards the man who answered her
"My wife she is not here that's why", that man replied.
"Not in this world? I'm sorry then", Anika apologized
"No no actually her mother lives in Shimla and our daughter can't handle cold weather. Riya's immunity is weak so I am taking her with me. As neither, I can leave work, nor her", he replied
"Ohh May God bless her mother ", Anika said
"Don't take this matter seriously as she will come there directly. Hana baby?", Asked the men from Riya
"Yes", Riya replied excitedly
"First time I meet a man who is handling child alone. Otherwise, most of the time a woman has to handle everything alone", Anika said to Shivaay when the men went from there asking them to take care of Riya
"Depends upon people thinking", Shivaay replied and asked Riya about her friends
"I have many in school", Riya replied excitedly remembering her friends
"When we will reach? ", Anika asked
"Few stations are left", Shivaay told her
"Then take a rest", Anika said
"You know na Anika I can't sleep on the train", Shivaay said and started setting his hair when they reached one station, he set his hair in every 5-10 minutes, and Anika teased him many times for whom he set hair every time and he replied for himself.
"Sit here. You will not go out. At least lay down here and after reaching there we will rest ok?", Anika said
"You are asking like I was thinking to roam that city", Shivaay said and sat back in his seat. He thought he will go out to this station as well but she stopped him which irritated him a little so he gave her a sarcastic reply.
"Shivaay.. don't make fun of me", Anika said
"You make fun of yourself. Can't you use logic ", Shivaay said and laughed watching her face. Riya also giggled, and they realised that she was also present there.
"My logic always fails in front of you. I can't predict your actions", Anika said
"No problem with the time you will start predicting easily ", Shivaay said
"Riya wear your shoes we have to go to in next station ", said Riya's father Riya and they left from there to the next station. Anika waved her hand towards her when she was going and gave her blessings.
"Now lay here for some time even if you can't sleep", Anika said. Shivaay shooked his head and held her shoulder and gave her one earphone and they both started listening to music holding each other hands. This looked perfect to them as they are enjoying themselves together. Their embrace looked like heaven to them. After half an hour they reached and stepped off the train.

By the way with a family train journey is very fun-loving as we play and laugh together so when they will come back I will write that😆😆
I wrote this now as it happened to me when I was coming back via train after my sister's marriage in October but rather than a bottle we played with a glitter pen( glue wala)
