IMPORTANT NOTE: Sequel to The Usual Room (CH 65) and Shinigami Flames (CH 66)
Yandere Warning (In a casual setting, so no gore but some creepy behaviour and a not so healthy relationship. I think it goes without saying that you should not condone these types of behaviours in real life.)
The third and final part to the Yandere Takamori trilogy (for the main story, that is, might make this an AU like Office Shark if you want), but for now, I won't be doing any more work with this particular AU. Sunset is the final chapter of Yandere Takamori AU until I decide to add it to the official AU list.
So since some of you have been asking for a part three, I finally decided to do this to get rid of the Takamori brainrot that has tried to take up residence amongst my braincells.
(I promise I'll actually do a request next, so look out for another yandere chapter)

It was scary how quickly you adjusted to your new routine.
For what you assumed was a few months, you were stuck in the bedroom of Hololive's favourite couple. With no way to tell the time or count the passing days, the hours quickly blurred together. There was no day or night as there were no windows and you slept whenever you were tired. Your naps turned to full nights of sleep, and soon enough there were only a few hours between each rest. It was... saddening to think about sometimes.
It felt like you were stuck in prison, except at least in prison you weren't alone for extended periods of time. Stuck with nothing but the tv, the snacks and the same four walls, your sanity was slowly slipping away from you. You had long resigned yourself to your fate. There was no hope for escaping, not from a phoenix and a reaper, you wouldn't even try.
"You look so sad, mein Schatz," Kiara cooed sadly, cupping your face.
Her eyes bored into your own, unnerving yet caring in a twisted way. You had no words to respond with. There was no way in hell you wanted to accidentally trigger the woman in front of you.
"I know!!" She snapped her fingers, taking your hands in her own before tugging you after her and into the rest of the house. "I think you've finally earned this!"
You felt like a fawn, stepping into the world for the first time on shaky legs. It had been what felt like years since you'd seen daylight spilling through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Kiara giggled at your awestruck expression, pulling you closer into her warmth as she paraded you through the rest of the house. You didn't know whether to feel ecstatic or... what was the word? Disheartened? Helpless? This was the first time you'd been out of that room. You got to properly stretch your legs and feel the sun on your face and the breeze through a nearby opened window!
But on the other hand, you were stuck like a dog on a leash to someone you really wanted to be away from. Someone you had trusted, someone who'd taken that trust and woven it into a set of handcuffs to trap you with.
"Sup. Kusotori, Doudou*," A voice cooed from behind you.
Death stalked her way out of whatever shadow she had shrouded herself in before draping herself over you like a second skin. Her cold aura radiated over you like a blanket, the very feeling of death clung to you, making you feel sick to your stomach.
"How d'ya like the house? Better behave yourself, you know what'll happen otherwise," Calli whispered in your ear, her cold fingers dancing patterns over your exposed forearms. You still couldn't find the words in you to respond.
Calli pursed her lips, eyes narrowing ever so slightly.
"They're kinda quiet, aren't they? I thought they were chatty, Kusotori?" Her tone was sharp, and you felt a fleeting sense of both fear and happiness. Maybe they'd finally let you go! Or maybe they'd just get bored of you and kill you... But either way, you'd be free!
...
..
What were you even thinking anymore?
Before Calli could take that statement even further, Kiara pulled you into her embrace.
"Just give them some time! I'm sure they're still getting used to their new life so there's no need to rush them," The phoenix ushered the reaper away, protecting you. There was a tense moment between the two before they both relaxed, Calli ruffling your hair playfully.
"Made some pancakes if you're hungry," Her fangs glinted in the light. You just felt yourself shrink further into the safety that was Kiara's warmth.

You almost felt your heart stop when you saw the letter.
You had just returned to the bedroom to grab a fresh change of clothes before you went off to take a shower when you saw the pristine letter settled on your minuscule amount of belongings.
Not a single person had arrived since you'd been taken, not even a police officer of some sort. But you couldn't hear past the door so maybe you were mistaken. So who had delivered the letter?
It was written in ink, a colour so dark you felt like you were about to be sucked into a type of void just looking at it.
'(Y/N) (L/N)
You probably don't know me, personally at least, but you've definitely heard of me and possibly seen me and my... associates around your workplace.
It has come to my attention that you have been held in this place against your own will, and I and my friends are willing to help you. We've only seen this side of Calli and Kiara a few times, but they've never gone this far before.'
The handwriting changed to something more flowy and fancy.
'We want nothing more to help. All you need to do is tap the symbol drawn at the bottom of the page three times to escape, and we will come to your aid. It's not fair for someone as innocent as you to be caught up in the ever-lasting possessiveness of a reaper and a phoenix. No one should.'
Once again, the handwriting changed.
'Please seriously consider this. We wouldn't want you to waste the rest of your life being locked up in their house.'
There was an intricate design etched into the parchment. In fact, the ink still looked wet, glistening in the low light. You furrowed your brow, trying to figure out who had sent you this letter and how they managed to sneak it past your overly protective partners.
Your blood froze when the sound of the door unlocking and opening reached your ears.
"Zuckermaus? You still in here?" In an instant, the letter fizzled until it disappeared from your palm just as Kiara peered over your shoulder.
"Oh! Y-yeah... I'm just thinking about what I want to wear," It was still somewhat the truth. Even if it was a total lie, Kiara didn't care. Instead, she gasped, grabbing your shoulders as she rubbed her cheek against yours like an overly affectionate cat.
"Ah!! Please let me help! I have so many matching outfit ideas we could try out!" The letter was quickly lost to the dregs of your mind as Kiara pulled you over to her wardrobe to fish through the numerous outfits she had in there.
Meanwhile, a certain blonde waved away the vision provided by the person sitting next to her. The cup of tea she held in her hands was most certainly cold by now, much to her utter disappointment. The only thing that stung more than having to get up and reheat her tea was the absolute anger that the actions of her friends brought her.
"Do you think they'll do it?" Gura nudged herself a little closer to Amelia, looking up at the detective. Beside her, Ina pursed her lips, looking downcast. The blonde showed no emotion, her face unnaturally stony and she pondered over their next choice.
"I really hope they do," Ina squeezed Ao-Chan a little closer to herself, like their numerous whispers comforted the overactivity of her mind. Gura dug her claws into the material of the table, carving grooves into the wood as her anxiety raced.
"I... Don't think they're gonna do anything," Amelia finally concluded, catching the attention of her girlfriends. "They're too deep, they rely too heavily on Calli and Kiara. By this point they've probably given up any hope," Amelia stood up, leaving her porcelain cup where it was as she loosened her tie.
"You'd be surprised and saddened at how often these sorts of things happen. One person being broken down by another till the point they feel like they can't go on without them," Amelia paused for a moment, hand resting on the doorknob.
"I need some time to think," And then she left Ina and Gura to their own devices, her echoing footsteps slowly fading into background noise.

Bedtime was probably the most peaceful time you had. It was the only time you, Calli and Kiara felt like a somewhat normal couple. The reaper's coolness contrasted nicely against the phoenix's warmth as they huddled up next to you.
Kiara had nuzzled her way into your grasp, breath ghosting over the skin on your neck as her arms remained twined around your shoulders. Calli had chosen to rest her head on your chest. One of her arms looped casually around your waist, and the other reached out for Kiara, her free hand intertwined around the phoenix's fingers. You just remained sandwiched between the two, letting your mind think and wander.
'I could escape, I could do so easily' You found you could summon the letter at will by thinking about it, only as long as neither Calli nor Kiara were around. 'But then where would I go? They could track me down and find me easily, and then I would be in even more trouble! My life would only be worse if I tried to escape...' You frowned, feeling an ache in your chest.
'But, if I could get to someone as powerful as them, maybe Ina, then I could probably find some sort've solution... Maybe...' An idea came to mind, probably not the best idea, but a long term idea that would set you free from the grasp of these two insane myths.
'J-Chad is close with Death Sensei, right? Maybe.. I could ask them for help, whether that be banishing Calli or just taking my soul to be over and done with it...' You felt the sting of tears prick at the corner of your eyes.
'Sleep. Think on it' You sighed, leaning into Kiara's warmth to get away from Calli's biting chill. The reaper was always a little creepy. At least Kiara was always loving... But then that had led to your latest predicament, hadn't it?
You felt your own spark of fire heat up, a result of some sort've soul linking Kiara had initiated. With it, she could always sense how far away you were, or if you were in danger or hurting. It also meant that as long as she lived, so would you. As long as her flames still sparked or her ashes remained intact, you would remain alive.
For the first time since you were taken, it only just struck you how trapped you really were.

*I wanted to give a little explanation. Doudou is the nickname/pet name Calli gave to the reader. It is French, and from what little research I did it translates to a name a child would give to their favourite toy. I though this was fitting as in this case, this is what Calli views the reader as. Her favourite toy
