Raven's P.O.V.
I looked at mirror.
I smiled looking at my reflection.
I wear a black crop top and a black high waist jeans. I sometimes love to wear black.
"Umm Raven, Don't you think you should eat less. I mean don't offend but just look at your stomach" Alice told me.
Ella and Grace are minding their business.
I bit my lips, controlling my emotions.
"I mean you are beautiful but just eat little less then you will come in perfect body shape, just like how boys like" She said pointedly.
"But-"
"Even if she will come in perfect body shape, still her colour is dim. But don't worry, I will give you face pack Raven. After using it, you can look a little better" Grace said to me.
"And about your hair, just cut it-" I cut Ella in her half sentence.
"I didn't remember asking any of your suggestion. Thank you so much for your advices but no one needed it here" I smiled at them and left to go to restroom.
I can feel burning holes in my head.
After coming in restroom, I washed my face.
I looked at the mirror infront of me.
I love myself and I don't care what others. Yes, I love myself and that's matter. What others say, just fuck it, yes I know I am beautiful and I always will-
'Fuck it Raven Wilson. Just look at yourself. Come out of imagination. They are telling truth. You are not beautiful. Just look at your stomach. You are not slim just like others, you are not fair just like other girls. Just look at your cheeks, they are so chubby, look at your hair, they are simple, not like other girls. You are a girl, you should know each and every thing about makeup but look at you Raven Wilson, you don't even know how to apply foundation and here you are telling you are beautiful'
"Is it my fault that I am not beautiful ?" I whispered. Tears rolling down my cheeks.
Yes, I am insecure. I am insecure about my body. I always am.
"Is it my fault that I grew up with 2 boys, My mom never taught me anything about makeup and stuff, my female cousins never talked to me nicely ?" I told myself wiping my eyes.
I washed my face again and came out of restroom and found no one in the room.
They must have gone already.
I sighed and sleep on my bed looking at the ceiling.
💭 Flashback 💭
Age : 11 years
Raven took makeup from her Mom's room and tiptoe to her room. She just shut the door.
She stood infront of mirror and started taking out makeup from bag.
She took out liquid foundation and opened the bottle. She took that and started rubbing it on her face making it whiten. She looked at herself. She didn't like it. She took handkerchief and rub it on her face. Still foundation was there.
She took eyeliner and tried to do it properly but not in her luck.
She next take lipstick, red lipstick and apply it on her lips. Not properly but still.
She looked at her open messy hair, she combed it and try to make a stylish bun.
She looked herself in the mirror. Not at all looking good.
Suddenly she flinched due to sudden door slamming and here comes Alex and Ivan singing a song.
But they stopped in their places when they looked at shocked Raven there.
They looked at her in horror and started laughing at her.
Tears brimmed her eyes.
She knows that she is not looking good but that's not a way to laugh on any girl, is it ?
Tears started rolling down her cheeks.
Alex noticed it and stopped laughing.
He nudged Ivan and he also stopped laughing.
"Rav, what are you doing ?" Alex said indicating her look.
"L-Looking beautiful" She said wiping her tears, which smudged her eye liner.
They both laughed again.
Raven pouted and turned around towards mirror.
Alex took one handkerchief and Ivan took comb, they both near her, still continue with their laughing session.
Alex hold her mouth making her flinched because of sudden attack of Alex. He hold her chin and started wiping her eyeliner, lipstick as well as foundation.
While Raven started hiting him with her small hands and trying to free herself from his grip but failed, so she started crying helplessly.
After wiping her makeup, Ivan lose her hair tie from her hair, and her hair free from bun and fall loosely on her back. He started combing her hair. She is still crying. After combing, he left it open.
"Now you are looking beautiful" They both said together, making her look at mirror.
She stopped crying a little and looked at her reflection.
"Are you sure ?" She sniffled.
"If we are telling lie, then I will failed in tomorrow's maths test" Ivan said looking at Raven.
Raven widened her eyes.
Because she know very well, how much Ivan is sincere about his studies and exams.
She smiled feeling satisfied with his answer.
"G-Guys, I forgot about tomorrow's m-maths test" Alex said gulping.
"Is that even matter ?" Ivan muttered.
I laughed.

I laughed at the memory.
They always told me that I am the most beautiful girl in their life.
I know they just try to comfort me but I always loved it when they say that.
Actually, it was not a first time when I did this type of stupidity. Once when Lily and her boyfriend bodyshamed me, I literally cried whole day on the terrace. At lunch, Alex and Ivan came on terrace while searching me and found me there crying my heart out...
💭 Flashback 💭
Age : 16 years
“You are beautiful Rav" Alex cupped my face and told me 7th time looking at my eyes.
“N-No, you are lying. You are just t-telling me because you don't want m-me to c-cry" I sobbed.
I don't know why I am so pathetic.
Alex sighed and leave my face.
He looked at Ivan and they seems like talking with their eyes.
Ivan nodded and came towards me.
“Now, tell me why you are not beautiful ? What is in you that is not beautiful ?" He asked me softly.
I think carefully. They told me I am fat.
“I am fat" I whispered looking down.
They both sighed.
“And how could you say this ?" Ivan asked softly.
I think.
“M-My cheeks and s-stomach, my hair, everything looks s-so bad" I sniffled.
“Damn it" Alex muttered angrily.
“You know Rav, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. Your cheeks are chubby with cute dimples on both side, that always attract lot of boys towards you. We have a hard time in controlling boys, you know" Ivan told her.
“In changing room, Alex broke that boy's nose just because he said that you have a kissable cheeks. And you are telling you are not beautiful" My eyes widened as I looked Alex. His eyes are also widened.
“So, you decide to snitch on me. Rav, I am not the only one, you know what, Ivan is not less, he broke Steve's hand because Steve said that he likes you and your body" Alex complained.
My eyes widened again and I looked at Ivan, who is busy glaring at Alex and when he noticed my glare, he nervously smiled at me by scratching his neck.
“And you know Rav, what is the most beautiful thing you have ?" Ivan asked me seriously. I frowned and shaked my head.
“That's your heart" Alex replied.
“And that's matter" Ivan continued.
I smiled. Suddenly, I remember something. I glared at them.
“Why you both always beat everyone ? What if you will get hurt someday ? And you idiots atleast inform me after you guys beat someone ? And Violence is not an answer of everything. You guys should sit and talk with them to avoid fighting but no for you, Violence is the only answer to everything and atleast think about me, what will I do if anything will happen to you both and what about....."
Author's P.O.V.
And so on, her ranting started making both boys smile adoringly at her. They quietly listened her scoldings, with a smile on their face. But on another side of their brain, already an evil plan is made.
A plan to make the people suffer who made their best friend insecure about her body.

I smiled.
No matter what people said,
I AM BEAUTIFUL.
I am beautiful for my Mom, my Dad, my brother and for my best friends and that's matters to me.
Fuck the world !
