Hoseok had taken the baby away from Taehyung when they arrived.He took the little prince to where he and Jungkook would residing.On the way Jisoo had come and stole the baby from the commander.
Jungkook was still in the carriage.He felt drowsy and in pain.His palms were sweaty.He didn't look well.
"Are you coming out or not?"Taehyung asked.He thought the omega was just being stubborn.
"I'm carrying you whether you approve or not.I will carry you kicking and screaming"Taehyung picked up the omega who didn't show any signs of resistance.He looked pale and weak .Taehyung was quick to realize that something was wrong.It was understandable that Jungkook would be ill.He had given birth recently so something might have gone wrong.
"Namjoon get the doctor.Hurry.Bring him to my chambers"he said quickly
"Yes sire"
Taehyung went and laid Jungkook on his bed.The omega's robes were stained with blood so he ripped them off leaving Jungkook only in his white pants.He covers the younger male's lower body with a blanket
"Leave me.."Jungkook whispered as he was fighting to stay conscious.
"Just save your breath.I'm not going to pounce on you.Do you think you are that attractive"
"That explains why you got me pregnant,your highness"Jungkook chuckled drly.
"Stop talking too much"Taehyung hissed
"Just let me die"
"Jungkook,don't anger me.Shut up.That's an order"Taehyung half yelled
"I would rather die than let you touch me,monster.I despise you to the depths of hell"the omega gritted out when he knew he should be saving his breath.
The royal doctor and his attendants arrived in time before Taehyung could think of what to say back.
The doctor bowed to the king and went to examine the omega on the bed.
"It seems his stitches have come undone.There is also evidence of an infection."the doctor concluded
"So what are you waiting for.Clean up the wound and stitch it up"Taehyung said impatiently
Jungkook lifted his head and glared at the alpha.It was probably easy in his head.Did he have an idea how much pain he was in.
"What?"the alpha glared back
"The last time we stitch him up he was unconscious so this time it will be different.It will hurt"the doctor said
"Is there a way to reduce the pain?"Taehyung asked
"If you give him alcohol then he won't feel a thing.That's the only sedative we have available at the moment."
"Then give it to him.As much as possible"the king smirked
Jungkook felt strength sipping out of his veins.The monster wanted him drunk.That was for sure.How was Jungkook supposed to feed his child when he had alcohol in his system.But once was going to do harm right.
This pain he felt demanded to be compensated with something worth while.Someone had to pay for this.
"Another thing doctor.Gag him.He tends to be too loud"Taehyung was having fun taunting the omega.He was enjoying it way too much.
"I will keep that in mind sire"the doctor bowed
Jungkook was in too much pain to protest.Couldn't they just cut to the chase and put him out of his misery.The doctor was just too stupid to agree to whatever the king was saying.He is the doctor and was supposed to call the shots.
Jungkook eventually got patched up and he was good as new.The doctor told Taehyung that the omega shouldn't be moved around until he comes back to his senses .He slept for hours and when it was time for the baby to be fed Jisoo brought him into her brother's chamber
"Brother you should give your son a name .Until when are we going to keep on addressing him as baby.That's an insult to the crown prince"Jisoo said
"I hear you.I will discuss it with his mother once he wakes up"Taehyung said as he laid his wailing son next to his mother
"How do I do this?I can't touch him when he is asleep but the little fella has to have his feed"Taehyung said
"Just remove the blanket and settle the baby on the chest.He will do the rest"Jisoo told his brother.
"I doubt he has any milk left after how much the baby had earlier"Taehyung sa
"Just do as I say brother.From now on we have to put Jungkook on a six square meal schedule so he can produce enough milk for the baby"
"What would you know.Have you ever been a mother before?"Taehyung asked
"Shut up"
When the baby was settled on Jungkook's chest his mouth found it's way to the omega's nipple.Everything was easy after that.The baby slept after having it's feed.Taehyung then laid him next to his mother.
"Are you staying the night with them?"Jisoo asked
"I have to.Jungkook would be uncomfortable in an unfamiliar place and the baby too"
"Then you should be on high alert.The baby will wake in the middle of the night"
"I know"Taehyung said almost inaudibly
"Can you come and have dinner.You haven't been eating properly in months"
"Just have someone bring food here.I will try to eat before I go to bed"
"Can I come too.I also want to have dinner with my family"
"I get the baby but how is Jungkook your family?"he asked a frown prominent cover his features.
"He gave birth to my nephew.We are family whether you accept it or not.You are going to marry him aren't you?"
"What?"Taehyung whisper yelled
"Did i say something surprising oppa.You have to take responsibility of him"Jisoo said
"I won't be marrying anyone"he hissed
"I have never heard of a king without a queen.Even those hard headed scums like yourself ended up getting married one way or another.Whether willingly or by force"
"So your top pick is Jungkook?"
"Who else?Don't tell me you want him to end up as one of your concubines."Jisoo asked
"Have you forgotten whose child he is?"the alpha grumbled
"I haven't but it seems like you have forgotten that you call yourself a father right now all thanks to him.Even though he was aware that you ordered for his father's death he never tried to abort this child.Can't you do him a favor in return for giving you a child?An heir that you didn't have any plans of having"
"Princess I don't think you know what you are talking about"Taehyung's tone was dismissive
"Brother,the council has been pushing for your marriage for the last five years and you know it.Make a choice before they make it for you.If you ask me Jungkook is the best candidate because you have a child together.Everything will fall into place"her tone was persuasive
"Have you ever tried to think about what will happen if he betrays me"he gazed at her intensely
"He won't ever do that if you just tell him exactly what his father did"
"And you think he will listen to me?He already has an opinion of me"
"We have to try.You have evidence of his father's treachery don't you?"Jisoo asked
"Jisoo I'm getting a headache.Can we talk tomorrow"the alpha massage the sides of his head
"Oppa you know I'm right.It's either Jungkook or the council's puppet"
"Frankly I don't see the difference.They were in cahoots with the prime minister and I'm sure they will rally behind him to bring me down if I make Jeon the consort.I will be digging my own grave"he let out sounding very agitated
"I understand your concern brother but things have changed.His father is no longer here.I doubt he will have the guts to betray you in any way."
"If you understand then stop pestering me"The alpha roeared
"Just one question.Does Jungkook deserve to be thrown away because he is the son of our enemy.What was his crime.You always use that excuse to avoid taking responsibility for what you did.Didn't you know he was the late Prime minister's son when you slept with him.Were you blind.Tell me what you did that for"Jisoo raised her voice
"This conversation is over"he bit out.
"You are evil and diabolical.Don't you feel bad for what you did to him"
"Even if I felt bad nothing would change.We can't change the fact that his father was a traitor"Taehyung's tone was maddeningly calm.
"Fair enough.I will see you after sunrise your coward ness.I'm sure your son would be so darn proud of you"the princess spat viciously
"Brat"
Taehyung's dinner came and he turned it away.The one thing he needed badly was wine.Who was right between the the twins.According to Taehyung ,Jisoo was getting personal because he had gotten attached to the baby.She liked the idea of her nephew's parents being together so he could have a normal and stable family.She had already made up her mind and there was nothing much for the brother to do.
Taehyung was no fool .He was aware that a queen was a necessity even though it was only for a show.A king would only get full respect from his people after presenting a queen.The rotten cabinet would frustrate him until he gave in to their demand.Their choice was probably one of the minister's daughter who would easily hand them the throne but if it was Jungkook then he would try to preserve the throne for his son.
Taehyung was surrounded by agents of regime change who would take every chance they get to sabotage him .Out of all the senior court officials there were only two men Taehyung could trust.They were once his father's friends and trusted advisors.The rest were after the throne .Some wanted it for themselves while some promised it to their son.
Taehyung's strong hold was the military.It had never been penetrated because the Minister of Defense had been vigilant.He was Hoseok's father and one of the two senior officials Taehyung trusted.Many times in the past the other officials tried to shake him up by promising him wealth but he remained loyal.
After a critical analisation Taehyung realized that Jungkook wasnt much of a threat actually.He was going to keep him close and monitor him.By any chance he comes a bigger threat he was going to eliminate him.
