The calendar has finally entered into the new month of May, the Magnolias season. It's been officially a month in a half since Prince Rogers Nelson-Jackson was shockingly rushed to the family's due to an accidental sleeping medicine overdose coma... Once that news had spread across in Minnesota, they're also holding onto their breaths and praying silently in minds to help heal their old married purple guitarist~.
But the good thing for the States is that Freddie Mercury has been in his California flat mansion for a full month now, so that the old married frontman singer could be closer to his other family and care for Prince like he said~. Freddie began a "used-to" schedule of visiting his past beloved at the hospital to check in to see if there were any more get-well-soon fan gifts sent at Prince's hospital patient room~. Freddie was the one seeing Prince and staying by his side most of the time while his own husband Jim Hutton is still out of the country for his neurosurgeon team operation project to deal with before Summer starts off is when Jim told his dear husband Freddie in one bedtime phone call when Freddie was helping dear Prince to bed last Sunday ago with the nurse that works at the front desk on their top floor of the hospital~. Freddie was so thankful and humble for that Californian dark brown skinned nurse working her night shifts into double-shifts as she was honored (and starstruck she was, that poor nurse, Freddie also added when remembering that moment first meeting her~); The woman just couldn't believe she was assisting TWO famous legends from her birth year as she must be an eighties baby, and to add into her almost fangirl starstruck moment, she was also keeping in phone calls with THE Michael Jackson, which also happens to be Prince's longtime husband and a famous legend too~. But putting aside from gushing over how adorable that nurse was when she first hit the realisation of Freddie's presence was under the roof of the hospital she worked at, Freddie was most heartfelt of giving her and her 13 year old ddaughter's who was at school, he gave his autograph on a copy of one of his QUEEN band brothers 80s album, Bohemian Rhapsody of course~. And in return, the beautiful brown skinned nurse with yellow back-long straight hair told about how well Prince's treatment of his coma has been going and Freddie was happy to hear that his past beloved is doing great today~.
Today, after eating a small-square-cut delicious pastrami French bread sandwich and calming sweet tea for lunch as lunch hours has ended, Freddie peacefully listens to the tv that's on playing on the opposite side wall above the head of empty spare sitting chairs of Prince's hospital bed. He sits at the usual wooden armrests, square-shaped rocking chair with soft cushions for head and bottom, on the right side of Prince's hospital bed railing. The old married frontman singer has been writing in a half empty get-well-soon gift card of his own on top of a wooden white board swivel tray hooked onto the right side of the armrest. He wanted to mail back to dear Elton John from his last week's heartwarming get-well-soon gift card for support and his love to help Prince to get better and awake soon~.
As his empty plate from his lunch and cup of calming tea sat aside on the spare right side hospital bed dresser so he could write his thank you card to Elton, Freddie continues writing in his cursive handwriting in the card and kept Prince's right, now warm asleep hand on to his lap in comfort~. The nurses had took his silver wedding ring off so that the cold metal won't affect his vitals while he's sleeping in his coma.. it was sat on the left side of the other identical hospital bed dresser with the night lamp and a couple of magazines set on there. The tv in the room continues playing on at his right shoulder side as it shows some of the news of that poor Johnny Depp vs his ex wife's "marriage abuse accusations" trial countless days of it. Honestly, in Freddie's opinion on listening to that horrible part in news is just, embarrassingly sickening and too sad to see that man had no choice of losing his beloved movie character over a crazy ex wife he used to love is still telling horrid lies about this sweet man's relationship treatment with her in their supposed marriage...
And apparently, Freddie didn't know that you can laugh in a court trial now because you're a beloved famous man (or woman)~? So, upon also hearing Mr. Depp echoing a stifle laugh during testimonies, Freddie really wanted to meet this lovely and talented yet sweet man now and also left in a thinking spot in his head as he continues writing in the card, of trying to think of one bad thing was about this man who could, EVER hurt a beautiful woman like this.. Amber Heard...?
Freddie sighs softly in already tiredness of listening to the tv's breaking news of discussing about that trial against ex husband and ex wife's marriage abuse accusations, so he reached for the spare tv remote on the right side of his armrest to switch off the tv. He never really watches tv as much as he did in his young QUEEN band days and as a private parent raising two twin sons~.
Within the next half in hour, the Nelson-Jackson family favorite uncle is expecting a hospital visit of his only oldest niece Zendaya Nelson-Jackson~. Zen had the hospital patient room phone number given as she had sent the number to her brother, Dad and the rest of her family members to check in a call to talk with Freddie to see how he and Papa has been doing~. So, she had called her uncle through that dialed old telly that's sat on the right side dresser near his left elbow that's layed on the armrest as he writes in his gift card telling Freddie that she'll be over with her boyfriend Tom Holland to visit Papa in a little while after lunch~. And Freddie couldn't be more happy to see his only oldest niece Zen's boyfriend once again since the Easter family wedding~... Really, Freddie enjoys Tom's presence and his fullblood new generation of his Britishness and his gentlemen American likeness~. I mean, how could you NOT enjoy this young man's young, warm heart and silly arrival? His niece really picked out her true Prince Charming in her right mind~.
While stopping his flowery mind of happiness in remeeting his beautiful niece and her young gentleman today later on, the door of the room knocked from behind and Freddie had answered loudly in his own old Britian accent, "Come in darling~!" Him thinking it was that same front desk wonderful dark brown skinned nurse out in the top floor sending in another afternoon fan get-well-soon gift from the bottom floor elevator mail box, the thick wood room door with its silver metal handle, swings open softly at a pace.
It was the same wonderful dark brown skinned nurse entering the room but not for sending in another get-well-soon fan gift for Freddie to set aside somewhere in the room. "You and Mr. Nelson-Jackson have a couple of visitors here to see you, sir~!" Freddie hears the nurse announce for him to hear as, Freddie surprised to hear Zen's voice telling the kind nurse a nice "Thank you!" as she steps inside the room first before Tom was polite letting her walk inside the room first, hearing the usual heartbeat monitors beep softly at its normal and expected beating yet slow pace in the background in the room..
Once hearing his niece thanking the kind nurse who helped her and Tom show where her Papa's room was held when the two entered the building together, Freddie had quickly set down his ball point pen and card down and paused his thank you card to Elton set aside to welcome his niece Zen and her joyous handsome boyfriend Tom once again as the proper uncle he is~.
"Hello, Zen Darling~!" Freddie starts happily after sitting up from his hospital rocking chair from the right bedside of Zen's Papa's hospital side as she noticed when stepping up to greet her uncle well.
"Hey Uncle Freddie~! Missed you too~!" Zen hums a closed smiling chuckle as she wraps her left arm around her uncle's left shoulder, resting her hand on his back in a loving hug as her uncle leaves a sweet kiss on her right cheek bone, hugging her sweetly as well~.
While watching the sweet uncle-and-older-niece sweet family greeting-touching moment behind Zen's left shoulder side with a small smile on his face, Tom keeps in his appropriate place as he reminds himself that he's in the same room with two famous music legends in front of him. Which, holy shit! He still can't believe his girlfriend's uncle is Freddie fucking Mercury~!! And that the man himself really LIKES LIKES him around his side too! WHAT~?!
"Wonderful to see you here again Tom, Darling~!" Freddie broke away from Tom's inner fanboying over his girlfriend's uncle as THE Freddie Mercury in front of him and Zen's dear Papa Prince on all of their minds as he blinks quickly from starting a daydream and meets his eyes and face with Mr. Mercury now with a tiny pink blush on the bridge of his nose~.
"Oh, hi again Mr. Mercury! Heh...~!" Tom giggled a tiny embarrassing chuckle as he layed his right hand on his neck and shoulder edge from waving his greeting to the famous married frontman.
The three finally settled down after Zen had walked towards the left side of the room window where she noticed her uncle was busy arranging her Papa's piled up get-well-soon and sweet fan gifts from everyone it seems like.
"You've been busy with organising Papa's gifts for a while, huh~?" Zen spoke up first as she smiles over the mountain piles on the window seal, a lot of sweet smelling flowers of her Papa's favorite flower, and very cool fan paintings of Papa and Dad as well as Papa and her uncle too~.
Freddie sat back down along with Tom pulling in another spare chair inside the room on the left side of Zen's Papa's hospital bedside, trying to be careful, not to bump the coma-sleeping legend in the bed. Tom also pulls up a third chair next to his right of the left bedside for Zen to sit next to when she's ready and done looking over a few of her Papa's get-well-soon fan gifts on the large window seal behind him.
"Ah!" Freddie speaks next to his niece as he brings back over his half written thank you card to Elton John on the right side of the dresser stand of the bed. "Thought it would be nice for your dear Papa when wakes soon, he won't be so confused on which lovely gifts were sent to him for his recovery~." Freddie smiles at his niece over at the other side of the room once laying his past beloved's asleep right hand back onto his warm lap once sat down in his chair as seeing that Tom has joined her close to her side to look at the beautiful get-well-soon gifts that were sent for Zen's Papa's hopeful awaiting awakening~.
While skimming through adoring and touching handwritten by her Papa's fans get-well-soon gift cards and putting them gently back in between the flower beds, Tom got her attention in pointing over a heartfelt, old family photo in color surprisingly~, of her younger uncle Freddie, her young dad BEFORE he had vitiligo, and one of her uncle Freddie's QUEEN band brothers, the late John Deacon~. "Oh! Look at THAT one, Zen...~!" Zen heard her boyfriend quickly whispered over his small smile on his lips as Zen spotted the family photo and reached for it as it was leaning flat against the cold window glass.
"Awww...~! Uncle, look! Is this you guys together~?" Zen spoke up again after cooing over the old, colored family photo in her hand as she turned back to face her uncle from behind on the far right side of the hospital room as he is now sat back down in his rocking chair, writing once more.
Freddie finishes another sentence in his pen as he looks back at his niece over his rectangular Sterling silver frame reading glasses from the white gift card as he asks Zen's discovery, "Who is 'together', Love~?" He says in between writing two words in his new sentence of his gift card for Elton.
He sets back down his pen on the tray as Zen walks up towards her uncle to hand him the heartwarming family photo in Freddie's right hand. Once adjusting his glasses up more on the bridge of his nose to see what his niece had found in the piles of her Papa's get-well-soon fan gifts, Freddie finally got to see the old memorable family photo in his hand.
"Oh... how lovely this is you found, Darling...~!" Freddie tells his niece softly as Zen is closer to her uncle's right shoulder arm side of the chair like her kidself~, looking over her family photo album book from the shelves in her dad's old office book dressers~.
The two took in a sweet moment as Freddie was telling little background stories to his niece of the photo, BEFORE her father had vitiligo disease and his second year meeting him again while her father, Michael, was freshly dating her dear Papa in the early 80s~. Zen and Freddie giggled at that as Freddie began rubbing slow, gentle rubs on the photo over the late John Deacon's right side of his smiling cheek~.
After adoring over that family photo, Freddie gave back the photo to Zen so she could rush over back to the left side of the hospital room to put back where the photo Tom had spotted earlier on the window seal. Tom and her had pulled aside near the bathroom as Tom had to leave soon to meet up with Benedict Cumberbatch for his last Doctor Strange 2 upcoming new film meeting in this week~.
Once nodding at each other as Tom walked over the two chairs he pulled up at his girlfriend's Papa's left bedside, he grabbed his jacket and Freddie notices the young man preparing to leave.
"Oh, leaving already Tom~? Why so soon, love?" Freddie then asked as Tom hears the old married frontman singer speak to him sweetly again in his British accent and his small welcoming smile on his dark lipstick lips~.
Tom's nose lit up blushing pink again at the sound of hearing Freddie's voice. "Oh! Yeah, sorry if I didn't say yet, sir! I gotta 'nother final film meeting with another co-star soon! I'll come by more often after that, promise~! It's nice seeing you again Mr. Mercury~!" Tom announced kindly after waving a warm sweet goodbye wave before forgetting to leave a goodbye to the man as Tom is still nervous being inside the same room with living legends over him, but that's just Tom being polite and adorable is what Freddie really thinks positively of his niece's boyfriend~.
"Of course, love~! Not worried about your department at all! Be safe, Darling~! It was wonderful seeing you again too~!" Freddie says back to Tom in his sweet Brit accent over his small closed smile~.
Freddie then went back to his writing in his thank you card as Zen gives her boyfriend a quick sweet goodbye kiss, Tom returning one back and his wallet and the house keys that he placed on the chairs he pulled up in front of her Papa's right bedside.
Freddie takes a little peek at his niece's loving affection towards the young man with a silent small smile on his lips as he watches Tom leave the room with Zen still here. Zen turns back to her uncle as she stretched out a smile on her lips before walking up at the chair that Tom set left for her to sit next, closer to her Papa.
"I like him~!" Freddie whispered over a small, impressed smirk to his niece as Zen finally settled down in her own wood-cushion chair to be close to her Papa's asleep, limp form on the bed, under hospital blankets.
She grabbed her Papa's left hand from the bed side onto her lap as well for comfort after chuckles at her uncle's little romantic and adoring tease about mentioning Tom. "Yeah, me too~." Her lip gloss lips stay closed in her tiny smile down at her asleep, and slow breathing Papa's peaceful motion.
The heartbeat monitor continued at its normal beeping sound in the room but not too loud to become unbearably quiet and sad. The breathing tubes that went through her Papa's nostrils was the oxygen to keep Prince in his coma state. Zen began caressing her Papa's knuckles with her right thumb in her hand. Zen had skipped this year's Met Gala as She wanted to keep herself occupied on her acting career and making sure that her Papa is awake and healthy again and her father and older brother understood that~. Her father Michael understood that Zen needs a break away from the fashion public eye as that's what he and his husband has been keeping their eldest children's faces away from the public eyes for years while raising them together. Zen told her brother and Dad that she wants be closer to her family yet her brother Capri did mentioned to her that Zen's fans will be upset hearing that She won't join the most famous red carpet events. Zen knew that her fans were gonna have to look at other known and beautiful stars to admire their work piece of their own clothing wear. (Zendaya knew that she may be born in an American royal family and that she wasn't "an American Princess Diana" as that's what everyone else had nicknamed her after Zen started a relationship with Tom and while she grew up to a beautiful, young, black talented woman~. Zen just wants to continue caring for her family with respectful space from everything and everyone else.)
While sitting, She noticed Papa's wedding ring set on the dresser stand next to her and also spots her uncle Freddie's smart phone flipped over with his gold-yellow case face up and charging as well as vibrating messages twice since she sat down in her own waiting chair closer to her Papa's view.
"Oh! Uncle Freddie! You've got people calling to you~!" Zen announced to the present older man as Freddie continues to finish writing his thank you card to Elton John from his loving get-well-soon gift for for Prince's support of healing faster. Once telling to her uncle as she leans forward to the dresser stand next on her left side of his hospital bed railing to grab for the phone and unplug the white charger to take care of whoever is trying to reach to Freddie.
"Would you be a dear and answer those for me, Zen Darling?" Freddie then asked kindly next to his niece as he grabs for the white envelope while finishing up writing an ending paragraph in his thank you card to Elton. The envelope near his left elbow that's set laid on the dresser stand of the right side next to his seat of the hospital bed that Prince lays asleep. "Yeah sure~!" Zen answered kindly back to her uncle as she kept her Papa's left asleep hand in her warm clothed lap as she turned on the phone and began to go straight to the DMs and read the sent text messages to whoever had been wanting to chat with Freddie.
She noticed that in her uncle's DMs as Zen scrolls through a half of a list of close relative names that Freddie talks to and knows, Zen saw Jimmy Fallon's name under the DMs in her uncle's phone. She hummed quietly to herself as she wondered what Fallon had wanted as she tapped on the host's messages and began reading the wonders from the host if Freddie was able and would like to join him on his first in-a-while talk show interview with him. It would be a huge treat for his auditorium filled excited audience to see what their host would bring on to his show in the next night.
After reading Fallon's texts if Freddie Mercury was able to enjoy a talk show interview and remeet his fans since his QUEEN band music days, Zen finally speaks again towards his uncle to get his attention again. "Hey Uncle Fred? Would it be cool if you wanna go out and meet your fans and do a talk show interview? Your fans seem to miss you a lot~!" Zen then mentioned with her stretched smile on her lips as she lowered down the phone from her face onto her lap as she looked back up at her uncle.
"What do you mean a talk show interview darling?" Freddie asks his niece as he slips the folded card inside the envelope after finally setting down his pen onto the dresser stand next to his side.
"I think you should go to one. Y'know? Have a night out with cousin Rami and Sami? I'm sure you've heard Papa talk about one of his longtime friends Jimmy Fallon?" Zen then mentioned as she leaned her head on the ride side of the head cushion of the wood rocking chair she's sat in her own.
Freddie looks off to the side, a little bit confused at hearing the young male who somewhat is a public favorite famous talk show host that everyone seems to love watching. He looked back at his niece after tapping a gold sticker to close the front tongue of his envelope and laid the blank, golden sticker card envelope back on the wood tray that's on his lap and grabs the pen back in his hand again to start sign off Elton's address and his signature name on the back of the blank space of the white gift card.
"Oh, he's a fanatic of Papa and Dad~. And he's really funny to hang out with, he REALLY wants to meet you too though is why I'm telling you this~." Zen smuggled a tiny smirk at telling her uncle Freddie a quick recap on how this host knew so much about her dear Papa and her father Michael and the rest of the family.
He smiles adoring at his niece as he silently began thinking in his mind as he writes off Elton's home address on the gift card while reading it as he began thinking about what it would feel like if Freddie has stepped outside the new music world and remeet his old QUEEN band superfans and tell his memorable stories of love and his past history as not just Freddie Mercury but as the real, Farohk Bulsara-Hutton~.
Freddie shows a small smile on his lips as he then signs his signature on the other top corner of the envelope card paper. And actually, Freddie now spoke up to his niece with his smile, "Of course love. I haven't been in a talk show in such a long time~. It's been too long since I've seen my luvs in years~." Freddie had answered, sounding happy but in his mind, yet tiny exciting and a bit giddy to meet this star host as Freddie had been always looking forward to visit new people and old faces he hasn't seen in his years in QUEEN~.
Now, the old, QUEEN of rock music couldn't wait to step out and see more into the new music world and tell his memorable stories of his past history with music to his adoring superfans that has been WAITING for him for years of his arrival and presence once again~. It seemed like an absolute treat for Freddie to make a fresh start on his new retired from music journey through making new memories to share with~.
So he just gives his niece a smile on his face before finally, grabbing out a postal mail sticker to paste on his gift card envelope that was set aside on the dresser stand next to his side and set the gift card envelope to be sent off seaside for next time~.
