It has been a month since Elia stayed in Atlanta. A month of ignoring them all over. Except for that little consolation from Elia to Lizzie last month when Lizzie was having a panic attack.
But after that, it goes back to ignoring them. But given the circumstances, Elia kind of started to communicate a little bit with her mother.
Just when she notices her mother was really exhausted after coming back from work. Such as, being asked to eat and she simply obliged to it.
Lizzie was over the moon when Elia was eating when Lizzie's begs for it. But she also feels slightly guilty because she feels like Elia did that because she's scared if Lizzie was going to snap again or not.
Elia with Isaac on the other hand are still not talking. Isaac tried to reach her but Elia just simply declines his call or someday she just blocked his contact from her phone.
And after the parents worked non-stop for a month, they did get a break for a week. And decided to go back to LA because the grandparents wanted to see their granddaughter. Grammie and Grandpa want to fly to Atlanta but Lizzie thought it's not the time yet since Elia was still in her 'mute phase' and didn't want to make the grandparents worried and being exhausted from flying just to find that Elia hasn't improved since they left her.
So, the parents thought, why not if they just fly back to LA and meet with the grandparents there?
And here they are now, at Grammie's having family dinner together.
Only at Grammie's Elia was seated having dinner together with her family after a month eating in her room.
Elia admits that she did miss this. She misses her grandparents too. She missed having dinner with her parents too.
"So, how's Luna doing? Is she good with you?" Grammie asks to start making conversation with Elia.
"She's good. She's perfect. Never leave my side once." Elia replied quietly as she looked at her Grammie and smiled softly.
"Remind me of someone" Elia added, whispering but everyone hears it.
Luna was a mix of Lizzie, Seb and Isaac. Never leaving Elia's side , only if they have too and have no other options.
Everyone just smiles from ear to ear hearing Elia somehow teasing her parents. That is the longest conversation they got from Eliana after a month. They're just happy they got to hear her.
"I could imagine that," Grammie said, chuckling.
"Yeah, yeah I'm sorry I couldn't resist to leave that cute face. She's my baby" Lizzie responded when her mother joined in teasing her while playfully rolling her eyes but her smiles firmly stayed in her face.
Everyone at the table could see Elia letting out a small smile before covering it.
They saw it and they were internally cheering that they got to see Elia smile.
"Hey, so we have another family dinner tomorrow" Grandpa Dave started
"Your aunties will be here tomorrow. My wife and your mother have other siblings too. Are you okay to meet with them?" Grandpa Dave exclaims
MK and Ashley were supposed to come to the family dinner tonight but they got pulled into another work and will come tomorrow after breakfast.
After almost a year being Lizzie's daughter, Elia only met with Aunt MK and Ash. Elia of course knows about her mother's siblings other than MK and Ashley but she just never met them since they have work too and are busy at the moment.
She knows that her mother has a little sister that is not so little, 25 years old and a brother, 26 years old. Courtney and Jake Olsen.
They were supposed to meet at Elia's birthday party after Monaco but with all of the things that happened, they didn't. Courtney and Jake did come to visit Elia when she's in a coma and then they were just busy with their work.
Courtney is a medic student. She's doing her internship at the hospital in California, Jake is a businessman who just got promoted to a higher position and that's just making him more busy.
But they did ask for an update about Elia every day. And they also know about Elia's newest incident. Elia is loved by her whole entire family.
Lizzie is close with all of her siblings even her mother and father end things kind of harsh but they got along pretty well because of the kids.
"Of course I'm okay to meet with them. They're my family too" Elia responded, letting out a small smile to her grandpa.
Of course Elia won't ever say no to that. But they always let Elia know that she has an option. They want to let Elia know that she could make decisions for herself too.
"Okay, sweetheart. Your Aunt C and Uncle J bought you so many present" Grandpa Dave said while chuckling along with the others.
"Oh please. MK and Ashley too" Lizzie said while playfully rolling her eyes.
"Well, she's the one and only granddaughter and niece in this family. Including Sebastian's" Grammie exclaims
"Yeah, she's going to be spoiled rotten that's for sure" Grandpa Dave agreed with Grammie's statement.
They all just continue chatting away with each other. Grandparents were asking the parents how work was, they discussed mundane things, the upcoming thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas day.
This is Elia's first Halloween with her family. She has a family now that she could celebrate with. Next week is Halloween so that means she's spending her first Halloween at Atlanta because her parents were working but at least Rose's gonna be there when she's back to Atlanta.
But there's actually one thing she wants to do before she goes back to Atlanta. She wants to do this ever since she knows about the incident 'that day'
And she can't settle with everyone if she doesn't do this. She missed her Mama and Daddy so much and she can't hold it off anymore.
Maybe after knowing everything, she can go back to them? Ease the tension?
"Eli?"
A voice snapping her out of her trance.
Once again, she met with a very worried face from everyone staring at her.
They must've asked her something and she was too deep in thought to respond.
"Baby? Are you here with me?" Lizzie asks worriedly as she gently taps her daughter's cheeks to make sure Elia comes back to reality.
Ever since her accident, the nightmares, her mental state started to disassociate. It's the worst trauma response ever for the parents to watch.
"I wanna go to The Drew's," Elia said, looking at everyone.
The others just stare at her shockingly. They did not expect that Elia would say it.
"Why?" Lizzie asks
"I told you and Aunt Scarlett why. I wanna know why they did what they did. I wanna know what I do wrong? I wanna know is it worth it? Do they feel guilty that someone else is dead?" Elia explains
"I don't think that was a good idea, baby" Sebastian tutted
"Please. Please Mama, please Daddy. I don't wanna stay mad at you guys for so long like this but I can't stop being in pain that you guys put me here unless I get to meet them. I want to go to you guys when I have nightmares in the middle of the night, I want your hugs. I missed it but I can't go to you guys because I'm hurt for what you put me through. So please. For the sake of all of us. Let me go to meet them" Elia confessed with tears flowing down her cheeks.
"I need to get this straight before I even hurt you more. I know that me being like this is hurting all of you just like you guys hurting me. It's exhausting. I know. So let me do this. Even if I fall down, at least I could let you guys catch me" Elia explains more.
And what Elia just said to them just makes them more realize that what Elia said is true.
This just reminds them of how mature Elia was and how lucky they are to have her in their life. This girl really keeps them on their toes.
She also really does make a good lawyer if she chooses to be a lawyer in the future.
"Okay. We'll go tomorrow?" Lizzie asks after having a conversation with Seb through their eyes.
Of course after Elia points out everything Lizzie will agree to it. Of course she wants her daughter sooner. And of course she'll do everything to get her daughter back.

Wow, it's been a minute right? How are you fellas doing? Me? I'm still a wreck. Insomnia hitting me very hard but hey, fake it till we make it right?
Welp, Elia's gonna go meet with the Drew's in the next chapter. Are things with everyone will be okay? Are they gonna get their Elia back? And how will Elia be when she meet with the Drew's soon?
