Astoria's POV:
I start to search the long halls of Hogwarts. As I walk through I can't help but think; what if Marcus is cheating on me? It really doesn't seem like something he would do, but I don't know. What if I don't know him as well as I thought? What if James is right? I mean who does he think he is to accuse Marcus of something like that? Well I mean he didn't really but still! Maybe he's just concerned for me. Maybe he cares. That would be a change of pace. He's been so distant lately.
Wait- what was that? I can hear a stifled sob coming from the broom closet outside the kitchens. I creep closer and pull open the broom closet.
"Marcus?" What is he doing in a broom closet? By himself??
"Hey," he smiles up at me sheepishly. Dork.
"Are you alright?" I sat down next to him, shutting the door quietly.
"Yeah, um, listen I- uh- well um- it's just I-" he stutters out, looking at the ground.
"Marcus you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to, you know that right?"
"Yes but this is something I have to tell you." He finally meets my eyes and my heart immediately shatters. He looks like he is in so much pain. No physically, but mentally. It's almost like he's mad at himself.
"Ok.." I start, urging him on.
"Astoria, I think I'm gay." He blurts out suddenly.
Well, I was not expecting that.
What does this mean for us? We should break up right? I think Sirius might be gay- I should set them up! No, too far Astoria. Chill the fuck out.
"That's great Marcus! I'm happy you found yourself," I simply reply. Yes, it does hurt a bit. Okay, a lot bit. But wouldn't you be sad if your boyfriend told you he was gay? Of course I'm happy for him for finding himself, but I am sad we won't be together anymore.
"What? Really? You- you aren't mad?" He looks like he's seen a ghost.
I stifle out a laugh. "Yes, Marcus! This means we aren't together right? But can we still be friends? I think you're a great person."
"Yeah," he smiles and then hugs me.

"Riaaaaa," Sirius drones, poking me with a pencil.
"What, Sirius? We are in the middle of class," I whisper yell to the black haired boy. He groans and rips a bit of his parchment off. Sirius scribbles something and shoves the paper towards me.
Where's Marcus??
He doesn't take Muggle Studies, genius.
No shit- but like i havent seen him at all today!
Well I don't know where he is. Maybe with Madam Pomfrey?
I dont think so, i was there earlier today
Why were you in the hospital wing earlier? Is someone hurt?
He looked up at me, shook his head, and shoved the parchment in his pocket. That was weird.
I go back to focusing on Professor Camdun and try to push the odd conversation out of my mind. But one thing keeps on coming back to me; Where's Remus?
A/N: Sorry for the short chapters! I will make them longer. I just need to decide on a plot, for now I'm kinda just going for whatever. I will post another chapter tonight though. Okay thanks for 152 views! Love ya <3
