Your eyes lit up as you saw a small light flash on your phone screen.

It works!

It's been about 2 hours of your constant attempts to charge your cursed energy into your phone, but it seems it was working now! It was definitely more effort than just plugging it in a wall, but as you practice more and more it should be rather effortless.

"Satoru!!" You called as a smile tugged your lips wide open. "I did it!!"

While you were hard at work, the boys were playing Smash Bros: Melee. But at the sound of your excitement, Satoru quickly paused the game. He happily accepted the plunge you took into his arms, before standing up to twirl you in midair. Two large smiles coated both of your cheeks, as Suguru sat on the side with a smile of his own.

"I can't believe it works!" You hummed out, "I did it I did it I did it!!!"

Throughout his Jujutsu career, Satoru has never seen anyone this excited about manifesting cursed energy before. Maybe it's because he's always been surrounded with gifted sorcerers, but he couldn't say he hated the feeling he got from this.

He found it incredibly cute.

"My little Y/n-chan's gonna surpass me one day," Satoru chuckled, gently pressing his thumb on your lips. "See? You're getting the hang of it so fast! And to think you doubted yourself~."

"I can do this!" The foreign words left your lips quite naturally. "Satoru... I can become a sorcerer!"

The two of you celebrated your achievement a moments longer, Satoru pulling you back in a hug. You returned the sentiment of course, delicately wrapping your arms around his neck as your phone hung loosely in your hands. Sure you were thrilled that you were finally making progress as a sorcerer, but you couldn't help loving the situation you found yourself in. Having Satoru by your side at every step of the way.

"I think I get it now."

You looked at Satoru in a bit of a daze. The words came out of his mouth unexpectedly, so you couldn't help but take a step back. "What do you mean? Get what?"

Gently pulling you back into his arms, the white haired sorcerer gently rested his chin on top of your head. "Why Me-two became a teacher."

This was most certainly a comment you never expected. You never understood why Gojo-Sensei was a teacher in the first place - especially after meeting Senpai. But you couldn't say you weren't curious.

"Why's that?" You asked in a soft whisper, feeling his soft breaths gently press against the top of your head.

He took a moment to try to formulate his words, but even he was having some difficulties explaining it. "It's like when you... and you- agh, this is hard!!"

"For someone who becomes a teacher, you sure are having a difficult time explaining it," Suguru finally chimed in with a frown. "But I don't really get it either. I mean I know why I would want to be a teacher, but I wouldn't even know where to begin for you."

"You want to be a teacher too, Geto-Senpai?" You asked partially fascinated. "You'd make such a great teacher too! I bet you'd do a better job than Satoru-"

"Hey!" Satoru whined, relaxing his body weight on you. "I'm not that bad!"

"I'm not saying you're bad," you clarified, struggling to hold him up. "I'm just saying Suguru seems like he's more teacher like!"

"Seems, huh?" Suguru muttered under his breath. Though he was about to open his mouth once more, he quickly shook it off.

After your little celebration, you finally took a look at your phone again. "Huh?" You muttered to yourself. "A missed call?"

Nevertheless your nosy boyfriend  looked over your shoulder for himself. "From who? Do you have a secret admirer, Y/n-chan? Are they calling you about your car's extended warranty?"

"Of course I don't!" You quickly frowned, turning your head to the boy. "I love you and only you, Satoru. And I don't even have a car!!"

"Good answer," the boy smirked, "But no car? How old are you again? 16, 17-"

"15." You interrupted. "I'm 15 turning 16. Remember how we're supposed to get married on my 16th birthday?"

"Right, right." Satoru huffed. "Say, do you want a car for your 16th?"

"Satoru you're not buying me a-"

Before you could finish, the boy pecked a kiss on your lips. "Don't ruin the surprise, Y/n-chan!"

"Satoru!" You turned your head away in a bit of a flustered mess. "You're not getting me a... there's no way I'm going to let you buy me a car! That's just too much - I still owe you for icecream!"

"Oho?" Satoru chuckled. "Give me a reason why I shouldn't buy you a car, Y/n-chan."

"I don't have a license."

Satoru shrugged. "You don't need one if the cops can't catch you."

After that response, you will never take one step in a vehicle that has Satoru behind the wheel. Nevertheless, you can't really say it surprised you. "I'm a student, and I live in the school dorms. I don't really need a car when everything's already here. It's not like I have a house to drive to or anything."

"Noted," Satoru hummed out.

You had your doubts he listened to a single word that came out of your mouth, but as long as he didn't get you something ridiculous like a car it didn't really matter.

"Eh, so it's me-two who called?" Satoru asked, sticking his nose over your shoulder to take a better look at your phone. Though you could yell at him for invading your privacy, something tells you it won't do much. Privacy is a luxury when your boyfriend is Satoru Gojo.

"I guess so," you responded, unlocking your screen. But what does Sensei need? Hopefully it wasn't anything urgent, but you guess you can just call him back. Contrarily, you can set your phone back to before he called you so that you'd never miss his call in the first place. Would that work?

Probably.

You went into your phone settings to change it to the time of the call. Maybe this time you'll be able to receive it.

As if on cue, your phone rang out. And so you accepted the call. "Hello?"

"Y/n-chan!" Sensei smiled, holding the phone out a little off of his ear. "Mind if I put you on speaker?"

"Speaker?" You questioned. "Sure." Was he busy with something? But then why would he call?

That's when you heard familiar voices. "Y/n? Y/n can you hear me?"

It was Nobara.

"Nobara!" You exclaimed. It's been so long since you last heard from her, and hell you never knew if you would ever hear from her again. Your eyes lit up at the sound of your old friend.

"Y/n-chan I'm here too!" Yuji interrupted.

"Don't interrupt her!" Ah yes, but another interruption by Megumi.

A sheepish "Sorry, sorry," left Yuji's lips as Nobara was finally able to continue.

"How dare you leave without even telling us first!" Nobara huffed, hogging the phone from their side of the line. "And here we were worried sick about you! What if you were kidnapped?! Killed?!"

"No no, nothing of the sorts," you chuckled awkwardly. "I didn't really expect this at all, so please forgive me. But I'm with Gojo-Senpai and Geto-Senpai so I'm in good hands!"

"Geto...?" Nobara grumbled in thought. "As in Suguru Geto? The curs-"

"Hai hai, that's enough of that." Gojo-Sensei transitioned, taking the phone away from Nobara. "Anyways, we're all glad you're safe, Y/n-chan."

"Thanks, Sensei!" You smiled back. "How's everything on your end?"

"Pretty eventful, actually." Sensei hummed. "Your classmates just had a Science Fair!"

A science fair???! Though that caught you off guard, you couldn't help but feel a little relieved. After all, you don't remember being told to prepare anything for a science fair for class before. If you were still in his class, chances are you would have completely forgotten to do anything, and just panic built a last-minute baking soda volcano. How lame that would have been.

"I won, of course," Nobara smirked. Wait really?

"I came in second place!" Yuji cheered. "I really didn't expect it. Truth be told, I forgot about it until the night before so I just made a baking soda volcano."

Yuji held your deepest sympathies.

"Let's not talk about this." Megumi tried his best to change the topic, but the tension in his voice made the situation a little obvious. He got third place, and was probably still sulking over it.

Though Yuji held your deepest sympathies, Megumi had your pity. Knowing him, he probably presented something ridiculously scientific, to which Gojo-Sensei didn't understand. Had he of been in any other class, his project would have been the winning one.

"Heh? I wanna talk about it!" Nobara exclaimed, rehashing old wounds for the poor boy. "Y/n-Y/n you're gonna love what I did my project on!"

Before you could warrant a response, Nobara continued. "How much sawdust can you put in a rice crispy treat before Itadori notices,' that was my research question."

"I'm still convinced you did it wrong," Itadori frowned. "There was nothing different about any of them!"

"Yuji, we literally gave you a block of wood and you still ate it."

•~•

You all exchanged more pleasentries before it was time for you all to hang up. You didn't know why, but a little part of you wanted to see them again. Mayhe it's to share proper goodbyes, or maybe just to show them how much you've grown since they saw you last. Nevertheless, you trust the three of them are working just as hard as you.

And so you turned back around to the two boys, but you noticed something was a little off.

"Suguru?" You called out, as he instantly shot his head up back to you.

"Oh- what, what is it Y/n?"

"Is there something wrong?" You asked innocently. There was a certain gloom on him... one that you couldn't quite place your finger on. Of course Satoru was completely oblivious to it.

"Nothing," Suguru scratched the back of his head. "Just... I'd refrain from talking to anyone in the future when you're around others."

You pressed your lips together. "I understand." You didn't get what the big deal was, but you respected his wishes either way. You weren't really discussing anything future related, unless knowing Nobara, Megumi and Yuji exist in the first place could impact something?

Nobara and Megumi should be fine, but maybe Yuji being the vessel of Sukuna was a different story. Did you say anything about that during the call? You tried to scratch your head to remember anything of the sorts, but your attempts fell short. Whatever it was that bugged Suguru was beyond you at this point.
