It's Sinbad's fanon birthday so I made some drawings to celebrate! (And since this is the weekend before my birthday I wanted to do something fun and self indulgent :3)
((I wasn't sure where the birthdays for the characters came from because I never saw anything for them in the manga, but I saw anime groups posting about them. I found out through discord that the birthdays are puns based on their names decided by the Japanese fandom. I only recently started learning how to say dates in Japanese so it never occurred to me XD))
((I'm still working on the next arc. I have a lot of it drafted, but I have a lot to rework so all of the scenes make sense together. I'm not sure when it will be ready so I make no promises.))

Oh right! I guess it just looks like random moments XD
The first is when Sinbad & Co first get to Riem. It's right after Harun (disguised King Rashid) strikes the deal with Sinbad to buy everything he's selling because Sinbad doesn't have a seller's license. I worked with resellers because of craft fairs since I was 12 so even if that version of me doesn't know Canon, Mori would know what was going and would realize Sinbad & Co didn't pickup what Harun was planning. Mori is not a part of their group; they were just passing by.
After realizing that Mori knows a thing or 2 about selling in Riem, Sinbad would try to get them to work for him. Having lived in Riem for a year, Mori would already have a job and chances are that job is also where they are living, so Sinbad would have to offer room and board on top of payment to get Mori to work for him. He would and it would work. Sinbad seems to pay his people well and take good care of them. If this is a Mori that doesn't know the Canon, they would also see this as an opportunity to learn about magic, Djinn, and the rest of the world.
The last 2 are right before Sinbad goes to Sassan and Artemyra. Mori would absolutely want to go on that adventure with him, and especially would want to go to Artemyra since it's a matriarchy. Sinbad would see Mori as someone he has to protect, and that isn't fun when on an adventure. Mori would stay and help Vittel with the accounting since Rurumu is pregnant during that point.
Since Mori would know more about all of this stuff, they would also recognize Maadar's scheme before it totally bankrupts them. No idea if Mori would be able to fix things before Sinbad gets back, but they would at least make sure the situation isn't as dire.
I have so much planned for this still and periodically play around with it more when I need a change of pace. I had made a whole dungeon for Mori to capture and everything. Idk if I'll end up using it in Sindria's Prophet tho :3))
