jungkook had woken up to the sweet aroma of waffles.
he groans as his hand searched for his husband's familiar warmth but frowned, eyes fluttering open seeing the spot beside him empty.
he brushed a hand through his blonde hair as he sat up, the view of the sea coming into sight as the sheer white curtains were lightly being blown by the morning sea breeze.
the million dollar morning view would've been perfect if he had his pregnant husband by his side.
jungkook stood, grabbing a pair of grey loose sweatpants putting them on as he went to the bathroom to freshen up.
he did a few stretches in the process as he walked down the stairs and sure enough his husband was in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
a smile immediately appeared on the blonde male's lips as the brunette caught sight of him entering the room.
"good morning, kookie" taehyung greets as jungkook wrapped his arms around the younger's waist, swiftly turning the stove off to have his husband's attention all to him.
"morning, beautiful" he replied, morning voice deep, muffled as he snuggled against the younger's neck obviously wanting his morning cuddles.
taehyung only giggles at this very much loving clingy jungkook in the mornings and let the older do as he pleased who now sat him up on the counter. his ass cheeks meeting the marble top as he was still wearing nothing but his white panties and a boudoir type robe. the thin piece of fabric falling off his shoulders as the dominant male wanted to gain access on his bare skin.
the brunette very much liked the skin contact, liking how jungkook's body was warm pressed against his own. the simple brush of their flesh giving him so much comfort.
he soon had a hand soothingly thread the blonde male's hair who hummed at the action. jungkook's hair had gotten rather longer, he should maybe try later to have it be tied in a man bun.
the couple stayed in each other's arms for awhile, taehyung thinking that jungkook might've fallen asleep despite their positions but the occasional pecks on his bare skin confirmed that the other was awake.
taehyung was a bit worried of the waffles getting cold but at the same time didn't want to disrupt jungkook's request of cuddle time as the older would always welcome him if it was the other way around.
he softly hums, feeling his husband relax in his arms. dominant hands on his waist, caressing and gently squeezing that sent shivers down his spine, goosebumps on his skin.
intimate mornings like this is what taehyung loved the most. both of them gets very busy with their respective work throughout the whole day especially jungkook who would tend to work over time til late at night so this little moments in the morning of just being in each other's arms is something he cherished.
it wasn't long until the blonde male had pulled away, briefly gazing at the brunette who had a wide smile on his face before leaning in to capture his lips.
"my favourite breakfast..." jungkook mumbled with a hum that made the brunette lightly laugh.
"alright, please put me down now so i can prepare you a proper breakfast, my love" taehyung says pecking the older's lips who replied with an 'okay' before gently settling his feet back down on the wooden floor.
"oh" jungkook exclaimed making for the brunette to look at him with a small tilt of his head.
the blonde male carefully untied the brunette's already loose robe, going down on one knee and pressed a kissed on his tummy. the action making taehyung to smile, butterflies swirling in the pit of his stomach as a sweet blush appeared on his bread cheeks.
"good morning to you as well, my little one..." jungkook murmured pressing another soft kiss on the brunette's tummy.

the taekook couple had decided to have breakfast on the cabin's veranda to bask in the sea view as they eat.
they've been in the city for too long that they would love for their eyes to feast on the beautiful beach scenery as much as they can.
"i remembered, doctor choi wants to schedule you for a full check up when we get back" jungkook informed remembering the doctor saying that taehyung was in good health but still wanted to make sure as he was taking medications plus she wanted to properly check up on their growing baby as well.
"alright, i'll call up her secretary for an appointment" the brunette says a hand unknowingly going to his tummy which jungkook noticed making him smile. "does mom and dad know we're pregnant?" taehyung then excitedly asks.
jungkook chews on the piece of waffle as he shakes his head. "no, no. it's just me, doctor tan and doctor choi."
the blonde male very much appreciated that the obgyn doctor made efforts to talk to him in private as his parents were in the hospital as well when doctor choi was able to confirm the brunette's pregnancy.
"i wanted you to decide on when to tell the family, my love" the blonde male says with a smile with the brunette returning the gesture but lightly pouts which didn't go unnoticed by the older.
taehyung sighs. "i should be the one surprising you with the pregnancy news but it went the other way around" he mumbled, lips pouty and cheeks plump. "we both waited so long to get pregnant..."
jungkook chuckles as he leaned forward to give the pouty lips a kiss and gently brushing the tips of their nose that now made the younger lightly giggle.
"don't stress yourself about those things, my love...we're finally pregnant. what's important is yours and the baby's health... that's all i ask for" the blonde male murmurs.
the two continued eating with jungkook having to cook some bacon, eggs and prepared some fresh strawberries as the brunette was still hungry and suddenly craving.
taehyung was a bit shy to admit first that he still wanted to eat as he had already consumed two whole waffles and he usually doesn't eat that much but jungkook was quick to notice and made it seem that he was still hungry as well and offering to cook for the both of them.
"should we go swimming after, my love?" jungkook suggests seeing how much of a nice day it was.
they were now laying in the hammock, munching on the bowl of strawberries placed in the brunette's lap.
taehyung excitedly nods, agreeing despite still learning how to swim. the blonde male had been teaching him and he was quite a slow learner for it, too scared to let go of his husband's hand and would always end up clinging to him.
still, progress is still progress as jungkook would encourage him regarding their swimming lessons.
jungkook gently held the brunette's waist as he hopped off the hammock, gasping softly as he lightly tripped.
"careful, baby" the blonde male huffs, hands tightening around the younger to steady him.
jungkook led them back to the cabin so they could change to a more appropriate swimming attire, a hand settled by the brunette's lower back as they walked.
although, the dominant male had already expressed he didn't mind go swimming naked but only to receive a light smack on his arm from the blushing brunette.
"have you packed me something to wear for swimming?" the brunette asked as he starts to rummage through the dresser with jungkook standing behind him, arms around his waist as he pressed a kiss on his shoulder.
taehyung was in nothing but his white panties, the boudoir robe disregarded when they walked in inside the bedroom and the blonde male was finding it hard to detach himself from the younger.
"they're in the second drawer, baby" jungkook managed to mumble, voice muffled as he was now busy biting and sucking on the brunette's exposed skin by his neck. hands roaming on the brunette's body.
taehyung giggles finding the older's breath ticklish as he bit just below his ear but soon had his eyes flutter, sucking in a breath feeling him lick and pressed a kiss on the spot.
"what would you like me to wear? white? or this mint green looks cute too" he asks holding up two bikini bottoms for the older to see, jungkook now resting his chin on the brunette's shoulder.
"hm... how about the white one?" jungkook suggests liking the idea of seeing the brunette in the white bottoms. "regardless, you'd look pretty in anything, love. i just want you to wear with whatever you're comfortable with." he adds.
he did pack a number of taehyung's bikini bottoms from the ones he personally liked on him to the ones he think looks comfy so the younger could have a wide array of choices.
"i think i'll go with this" taehyung agrees putting back the rest of the clothing back in the drawer. "and now you need to get changed too" he swiftly turned around to face his husband who didn't waste a second to peck his lips.
"you're so beautiful... i'm so inlove with you, how am i so lucky..." jungkook mumbled more to himself, intently gazing at the brunette who heard the words and now had a rosy blush on his cheeks as he shyly smiled at the other.
but it didn't take long until taehyung had opted to hide away in his husband's chest, getting too shy at how the other was lovingly admiring him, starring at him. jungkook laughs that made taehyung's cheeks heat up more feeling the vibration against his naked chest.
"kookie~ stop~" taehyung whines, arms wrapping around his husband as he remained unable to look at him.
"what? why? i'm not even doing anything" jungkook replied, teasing tone evident in his voice and only received a small huff from the brunette against his chest.
a small gasped left taehyung's lips when he was suddenly lifted off his feet, hands clutching on the white bikini bottom in his hand and wrapping his arms around jungkook.
taehyung then felt the familiar soft sheets of the bed on his bare back as the dominant gently layed him down, hovering on top.
their eyes met, taehyung's cheeks in a permanent shade of red as jungkook gazed at every inch of him.
"forgive me, my taehyung... i just couldn't help but admire you..." jungkook says with a gentle smile, softly caressing the back of his palm on the brunette's blushing cheek. "i love you..."
taehyung's heart was beating widely as if he was hearing his husband's love confessions for the first time, the familiar butterflies erupting in his tummy once again. "please allow me to admire you everyday..." the blonde male murmurs.
taehyung smiles, eyes lightly fluttering as he leaned into the dominant male's touch before turning to his side to give a soft kiss on the older's palm. "i love you..."
jungkook leaned in to attach catch the younger's lips, the pair of sweet lips he loves to kiss.
the brunette already had his arms around his husband, a hand on the older's nape pulling him closer. the white bottoms he was clutching on long forgotten and lost in the sheets.
soft pants soon left the younger's lips, eyes shut closed as the dominant male started to kiss away from his mouth and ventured down south.
jungkook licked, sucked and gently bites as he kissed and made his way down taking extra time to fondle on the brunette's erected nipple that had the younger's body arching, a gasped moan leaving his swollen lips.
"kookie..." taehyung pants, hands fisting on the blonde male's hair as he had finally reached his destination below. the younger's legs spread wide open to make space for his husband.

he gently tucked a piece of hair behind the younger's ear who was biting his lip obviously bothered by something that the blonde male was quick to notice.
the brunette looked at him with wide shy eyes. "i want you to make love to me too but i... i don't think i can control myself..." he honestly mumbled. "i still want to swim and walk... i might not be able to... if we go on..." he added voice above whisper, rosy cheeks a shade darker.
jungkook initially thought that the brunette was talking about him as he tend not to be done in just a few rounds but realized that taehyung was referring to himself.
they hadn't talked about it but they were both aware how the younger had recently been active. he was easily aroused and to initiate first. he recently would tend to crave and ask jungkook for more when they make love.
basically, taehyung is recently more sexually aroused.

the taekook couple had finally was able to take a dip into the sea, jungkook swimming freely for at least half an hour with the brunette bathing under the sun.
the blonde male soon took the younger with him to continue teaching him how to swim. they had always practiced in the pool and he thought it would be a good experience for him to learn out here in the sea.
taehyung didn't disappoint as it only took a few tries before he was finally able to freely swim and not panic when jungkook would let go of him.
"oh my gosh, i did it, kookie!" the younger squealed as he emerged from the water, instantly lunging himself on the blonde male. the water lighting rippling around them at the action.
"i'm proud of you, baby" jungkook praised as he brushed the brunette's drenched hair off his forehead and giving him a kiss tasting the salty sea water.
taehyung then rests his chin on his husband's shoulder, clinging into him tightly like a koala that made the older chuckle as he securely wraps his arms under the younger's bum.
"should we swim together going over there?" he then asked referring to the pile of rocks just a few meters ahead.
"no" the brunette firmly says wanting nothing more at the moment than to cling to his husband. "i'm tired..."
"you won't be able to practice swimming, baby if you just hold on to me" jungkook knew the other was full on pouting despite not seeing his face which made him to chuckle once again.
"but...." taehyung protests, hiding away in the crook of jungkook's neck that the older now was too soft and couldn't resist him if he was being like this.
"okay, fine... how about you just hold on to me?" he suggests which now made the other to look at him, pout still evident but soon turned into a cheeky smile.
taehyung giggles and gave him a peck on the lips. "i love you, kookie"
jungkook only chuckles, playfully rolling his eyes but had his heart doing flips from the peck he had just received.
"i thought we're very far out" taehyung comments as he took in the view and seeing their cabin from a distance and a bit surprised that he was able to swim this far.
jungkoook hummed. "i think it's already far for a first time swimmer like yourself" he replied which made the younger proudly smile.
although, the older was still being careful and safe as the brunette was now pregnant, if anything were to happen he didn't want them to be too far out in the sea.
"oh, jungkookie i was thinking... would it be alright if we maybe invite our families over and announce our pregnancy here?" taehyung thoughts pulling away lightly to look at his husband.
"yeah? i think that's a good idea, my love. it would be nice to see everyone too"
"i just hope jinwoo and hoseokie-hyung would be able to come or maybe i should call them first before i set a date..." the younger mumbled with a small pout, resting his chin back on the older's shoulder, legs tightly around jungkook.
the artist jung hoseok was currently doing a world tour and jinwoo was accompanying him. the last time he had talked with jinwoo, he was informed that they would be heading to the usa and take a few weeks off before resuming the tour.
he knows that the artist's days off would definitely still be allotted for work but he hopes that the couple would have a spare free time to visit.
"ahh, i just remembered jiminie's also handling his father's company now... yoongi-hyung's always busy with his cases too..." taehyung groans, going back to tuck his face away against the crook of jungkook's neck. "appa and dad might have prior appointments with their patients and clients as well..." he whined, pouting even more. "why is everyone so busy..." he further whines, legs wiggling in annoyance under the water.
jungkook could only laugh as he gently caressed the younger's back, the water lightly splashing at the action. "don't stress about it, my love. we'll plan it together and make sure everyone would be able to come."
"mom and dad might even be planning to go back to london soon... we didn't even get to spend time with them and now we might be asking them to extend..." taehyung rants in horror, mind in panic thinking that his plan for a pregnancy announcement party was already failing before it even started.
he might as well just pop the baby out and just gather them all to see the baby.
"babe, my love, calm down" jungkook says as he rubs a hand on the brunette's back who looked at him now with wide teary eyes that startled him a bit not expecting him to get too emotional with this.
"listen, my love. there's no rush, yeah? we'll plan it together. we'll make a call to everyone and make sure to set a date where all of them can come, okay?" he mumbled, a hand gently cupping the brunette's cheeks to look at him.
taehyung nods at this as he lightly sniffles, the older giving him a comforting kiss on the forehead.
it wasn't long until the two had decided to swim
back to shore, taehyung happily holding onto the older's shoulder who swims, pulling him along letting his feet lightly paddle.
the brunette was pretty much had just been carried by jungkook as they got back to shore, the older giving him a piggyback ride as they walked up back to their cabin.
"to the bath tub with a view, please" taehyung exclaimed with a giggle as he holds on to his husband referring to their outdoor bath.
jungkook laughs and quick to comply as a bath with his husband and a sea view always sounds a good idea. "as you wish, my love"

expect the next chapter or two to possibly be just fluffy and lovey dovey taekook haha maybe honeymoon 2.0 but they're preggy already🥰 i've always planned for this book to be just all lovey dovey married taekook so if ever i'd insert some drama / conflict / angst, it would just be light and nothing too heavy:)
aside from being busy with school and me struggling to write chapters, another reason for the slow updates is that i'm wanting to write longer chapters meaning it also takes time for me to edit a chapter. i tend to reread and reread a chapter before publishing; adding / editing and all that (and yes, still have errors smh 🙈😵💫) haha but the point is, my paranoid self can't just publish a chapter without rereading it at least a dozen times ✨😭
(regarding the upload time) based on your answers from the last chapter when i published, i guess i'll stick with my usual update time - at night? since it's also night or afternoon for most of you rather than the mornings wherein we all are quite busy~
