I sat for once not utterly focused on chess. I know. I'm shocked at myself too. But we had big things to be dealing with so I was sat on my chair magazine in hand trying to find things that look nice. Oooohh outdoor chess table, want that. Anything I was interested in I circled in the magazine even if I knew It would all have to be approved before I bought anything. I heard the phone so I reached back to the table and grabbed it
"Hello?" I asked unsure who to expect
"Hello, is that uhh me witt's?"
"Watts?" I offered
"Ah yes sorry watts."
"Yes, it's mr watts"
"Sorry about that, it's a bit hard to read on my paperwork"
"It's alright, I imagine my feincé filled it in and has very…. What do you call it? Cursive handwriting" I laughed
"Well just a call to inform you that the deposit has been received along with your first payments, everything seems to be going over just fine and the family has just let us no they will be leaving on the second so, on the third well go in and do a check for you and then hopefully we'll give you a call and tell you when you can move in"
"Excellent, thank you, yeah let me know as soon as you can we've got a lot of things to work out. Hopefully I'll heard from you soon" I smiled before he hung up I grabbed the phone and put in her number waiting a couple of minutes
"Hello?" Her happy little voice smiled
"Hello dolly"
"Ohh hello Mr watts, to what do I owe the pleasure?"
"Firstly, have you seen that outdoor chess table?"
"No?"
"Uhhh stylish life page…. Fourth six"
"One moment" she giggled clearly getting her own "hummmmm…." She pondered
"Please" he pouted
"I'll think about it"
"Yes!"
"Have you been through perfect kitchens like I asked you?"
"I did. But I'm sure my options are incorrect"
"Not incorrect. Impractical"
"How are black marble counters impractical?"
"You'll never keep them clean!" She argues
"Fine. Besides kitchen is your department I get the bathroom that was our deal"
"I do recall. Is that all you called about?"
"No, realtors just called me"
"Ohh no what's wrong?"
"Nothing. They have the deposit, and our first payments, families out on the second they'll do a walk through on the third potentially be in by the forth" I told her
"Yay!" She giggled "have to packed… anything Benny?"
"What do I have the pack? Clothes. My chess boards. My books. I'm not taking furniture except my chair, my ottoman and my rug. My kettle ain't worth it and nothing on my kitchen or bathrooms worth taking, I'll buy new soap and dish towels for our new house"
"Alright, have you packed any of your books?"
".... Yes" I lied
"Liar"
"What if I wanna read them better now and then?"
"Benny the family moved out tomorrow."
"Still, I assume you're completely packed?"
"Completely, living out of suitcases and cardboard boxes, got any furniture we are talking wrapped up except my chair and my bed. And the phone but I need that"
"Okay, should probably get things organized."
"You should Benny. Won't be long till we can have our little place, then we can go house shopping"
"I know dolly. But soon we will have our little house and… we need to christen our new house don't we?"
"Not till the bed gets put together mr."
"When have we ever needed a bed Dolly?"
"Still. Besides I wanna get shopping done and all that first, can't unpack till we decorate"
"You are going to gut like every room of that house aren't you?"
"I am. Speaking of which new home design page sixty two item twelve" she says so I grabbed that one and had a flick thought seeing the black and white striped wallpaper
"For?"
"The dining room to go above that lovely paneling"
"I'm open to it. But we'll see once we get there"
