Final Exams
Akira Thinking: Damn it, it's final exams, and I didn't even help any of the girls. Well, that's a lie. I did "help" one of them. I'm fine, but I'm scared for them.
The day before
Akira Thinking: I should actually stop by their house today. The test is tomorrow and, even though they have improved, I'm still worried. Yotsuba is known for doing bad on test, but the one I'm most worried for is Nino and Itsuki. I hardly saw them work, but Futaro helped a little without me, so I'll hope he did well.
He was already on his way to get groceries, so the idea popped into his mind. He shrugged his shoulders, saying why not.
After a bit, he gets to the Nakano house.
Akira: I wonder if they mind me dropping by unannounced like this.
He walks up the stairs and knocks on the door. He waits for a couple of seconds and then it opens.
Nakano: Eh what do you want.
It was just a head.
Akira: Well I came over to help you guys before Finals tomorrow. May I come in?
The girl just looks at him, the closes the door.
Akira: . . .
.
.
.
Akira: She really just closed the door on me. Ok, I'm coming it!
He grabs the doorknob and turns it. It wasn't locked so he opened it and walked in. He walked to the table and sat down. It was quiet.
Akira: Is anyone even here?
He hears footsteps come around the corner. He looks up as they turn it,-
Nakano: WHO SAID YOU CAN COME IN?!?!
The girl was standing with a towel on.
Akira: I mean you never said not to.
Nakano: Who do you think you are, CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!
Akira: Oh come on, this isn't the first time I've seen you like this Nino.
Nakano: THAT DOESN- Ah, Nino?
Akira Thinking: Please say it's Nino, please say it's Nino!!
Nino: How, did you know?
Akira: I just think who's reaction that would be, and it was similar to when we were in the hot springs.
Nino: You trying to say my sisters would let you see them naked?
Akira: No, but you're the only one that would say that stuff.
Nino: I think I responded normally to a guy peeping on a girl.
Akira: Then did you forget you're still in just a towel then?
She looks down to see she is still basically naked. She grabs an extra towel that was on the side and throws it at Akira's face. It hit him.
Nino: PERVERT!!
She runs out of the room and slams the door to the bed room.
Akira: I don't think I deserved that.
After some time, Nino walked back out. She was wearing, it'll just be better to show you.
She walked out and looked at Akira.
Nino: You're still here?
Akira: Where else would I be?
Nino: Out of my house and yours.
Akira: Like I said I'm here to help you guys with your studies. Speaking of which, where is everyone?
Nino: Like I know. I don't keep tabs on my sisters every whereabouts.
Akira: Well you'll have to do then.
Nino: WHAT?!?!
Akira: Grab your books.
Nino: LIKE HELL I'M STUDYING TODAY!!! Did you feel how nice it is outside, I'm going out!!
Akira: Where is so important?
Nino: I need groceries cause someone has to cook for this family.
Akira: Perfect, I have the same task.
He pulls out a sheet of paper with a list of things to buy.
Nino: You're joking, right.

Nino: Why did you follow me?
Akira: This place has a sale.
Nino: Is that the only reason why?
Akira: Yeah. I would go across town for this sale.
Nino: Jeez you're that poor?
Akira: Careful what you say, you guys might get into my situation sooner then later.
Nino: What are your trying to say.
Akira: You're not on your Dad's income. Ichika makes good money monthly, but for a family of five, it's not enough. And non of you guys have a job, while me and my mom have jobs and we still barely make ends meet. It might be smart to look for a job.
Nino: It's not my style.
Akira: A jobs not your style? That makes no sense.
Nino: Like I care. Until we get kicked out then I'll wait.
Akira: Do whatever, it was just advice.
Nino: Yeah well I don't need it.
Akira: I see. What about finals?
Nino: Like I care about those either.
Akira: You should. I thought you said you'd take studying more seriously.
Nino: I did, when you actually worked for us. Now you're just a pest that won't leave.
Akira: You know I'm working with you guys again right.
Nino Thinking: Crap I forget he was.
Nino: Hmm.
She flipped her hair and walked away.
Akira Thinking: That's one way to dodge a situation.
They both grab the things they need. Nino's basket was filled with a verity of foods. Akira did the same, however with a little less verity.
Nino: You know it's healthy to have vegetables?
Akira: Yes but my sister doesn't like vegetables, and my Mom would rather not eat them. Anyways, they're expensive just to have me eat them.
Nino: So what are you feeding your family?
Akira: Just the regular stuff. I make sure they get protein, and my sister lots of water. Since she's not the healthiest dieter, I make sure her intake of other foods is good. She wants me to do it anyways, mostly since she would just eat crap if it wasn't for me. I respect her wanting to try so I do it for her. What about you guys?
Nino: Hmm, Itsuki and Yotsuba will eat pretty much anything. Miku is a picky eater though. She will never try anything new. Ichika is in the middle. With a little push she'll eat something new but that's pushing it.
They get to the line and stand together, side by side.
Akira: You're cooking was always good when I had it. I only had it once or twice, but every time I did it was really good. Have you thought of going to culinary school?
Nino: Never gave it any thought. Not much of a school person.
Akira: If you fine a school specialized in a field you're interested in it would be way better. If you're not into liberal arts ch-
Nino: You just don't shut up about school do you.
Akira: I guess I do. There isn't much else I do other then study. All I do is plan ahead after high school.
Nino: God that sounds sad.
Akira: Oh really?
Nino: Yeah, it's sad you can't see that. Planning ahead, you don't know if you'll even get that far! You have to live a little.
Akira: What kind of advice is that?
Nino: A good one.
She puts her stuff on the cashier belt as Akira waited his turn.
Nino: You're so stuck up, you know that?
Akira: That's rude.
Nino: Well someone has to tell you.
Akira: Stuck up or not, I don't care. As long as I'm helping my family.
Nino: Ehh your sob story is so boring.
Akira: Shut it.

The two walked down the street.
Akira: Well, just try to study tonight.
Instead of going straight, he made a right.
Nino: Huh, where are you going?
Akira: Home.
Nino: To do what?
Akira: Study.
Nino: Jeez it's like you didn't hear me, let me spell it out for you, Live, A, Little. Did you get that?
Akira: Yeah. I plan on that, but finals take priority. Make sure you study too. Good lu-
Nino: How about that. We have a competition. You win, you get me to study, I win, you don't come to my house for the rest of the week, and I don't want to hear about my grades too!
Akira: Why would I take part in this? It seems like if I win I have to do work and if I lose I can't help your sisters in the right environment.
Nino: You didn't even hear what it is.
Akira: There isn't a need. I'm not going to-
Nino: Jeez, you really are a loser.
Akira: Will you shut up. I don't understand you right now and it's freaking me out.
Nino: WHAT?!?
Akira: I thought you didn't want me around so why would you propose this offer?
Nino: Idiot did you not hear what happens if I win?!
Akira Thinking: What the hell is she on about? She was whining I was with her at a store and now she wants me to play a freaking game with her? What's her deal? Is she lonely? Haaa, I guess I'll play along. Not like I plan on losing to her.
Akira: What is it?
Nino: Try to make something better then me, and if your food tastes better, then you win.
Akira: Heh, alright. Let's play.

Miku Thinking: Studying at the library helps me focus more then at home. I'm hungry now. In hope Nino's home now.
Itsuki: Oh Miku, you're home too now.
Miku: Yes. I just came back front the library.
Itsuki: Oh that's good. I was out for a walk, listening to this English thing Uesugi told me to listen to.
Miku: Was it helpful?
Itsuki: I'm not to sure, being honest.
Miku: English is hard, but I think I've been getting better. I can win.
Itsuki: Um, win what, exactly?
Miku: Nothing. Let's get inside.
Itsuki: Good idea.
Itsuki grabs her key out and opens the door. As they walk in, a sent hits them. A pleasant smell that made both their mouth water.
Nino: Will you get out of my way!
Akira: I told you I needed another spoon.
Nino: You should have just waited!!
Akira: I couldn't just wait, it would burn.
Nino: Does it look like I care, let it burn.
Akira: I'm platting anyways so there's no need.
Miku: Hello?
Nino: Perfect.
Akira: Perfect.
Nino: Miku, Itsuki, get over here now!
Miku: um, ok.
Itsuki: It smells good in here.
Akira: You're smelling my dish at the moment.
Nino: Shut up! Sit down, I need to finish.
Akira: While your sister is trying to make something bad look good, please enjoy. And I say, try not to eat it all so you can get the bad taste from Nino's mess out of your mouth.
Miku: You're mean when you cook.
Itsuki: I think they're having a kind of competition.
Akira: Just eat.
He puts a plate down. It was a plate of Shogayaki. Steam floated off the meat, giving the room an intoxicating smell, a smell so good to make Itsuki wipe her mouth.
Itsuki: Don't mind if I do.
There was chopsticks next to the dish for the two, which they both grabbed.
Girls: Thank you for the food.
They both take a bite.
Miku: Oh, wow.
Itsuki: Mmm it is good, I'll give you that.
Miku: Good is an understatement.
Nino: Step aside. Eat REAL food.
She put her plate down, it being Tonkatsu. Once again, Miku and Itsuki eat up.
Miku: This is good too.
Nino: Now its better.
Itsuki: I don't know, I need to have both.
Itsuki starts to eat both.
Miku: So what brought this on?
Akira: She doesn't want to study so this is how we decide it.
Miku: Well can you help me after this?
Akira: Of course.
Itsuki: Sorry Nino, but I think-
Nino: Mine is better yes.
Itsuki: Don't be a sore loser now.
Nino: I'M NOT!!
Akira: Get you're books ready, looks like I'm not leaving so soon.
Nino: Ehhhhh!!
Time = Present
Akira Thinking: I don't want to worry over nothing, seeming that I helped her study yesterday, but still, I can't help but worry. I hope all those girls do will.
Quintuplet Special
Akira: That ones wrong.
Nino: Shut up I know that.
Miku: He's just helping out Nino.
Nino: You be quiet too.
Akira: What's wrong now?
Itsuki: She's just mad she lost.
Nino: SHUT UP!!
Akira: Jeez even my sister doesn't cry when she loses.
Miku: She can't help it. Seeing that none of us but you can cook.
Itsuki: Speaking of which, you should make us things more often.
