Scott is sitting as his bedroom desk, with a night lamp and color pencils. He was designing a new suit, that would be able to strike fear into the criminals of Riverdale, but he didn't know what he wanted it to look like. As he sits, and ponders on a outfit design, his phone begins to ring. He sees that Betty is calling him.
Scott[OTP]: Hey Betty, what's up?
Betty[OTP]: Hey Scott, so I just talked to Jugheads dad about the surprise party, and he's totally down for it.
Scott[OTP]: That's really cool...Are you sure this is a good idea?
Betty[OTP]: What'd you mean?
Scott[OTP]: I mean Jugs party. Be honest, why are you really so serious about this whole idea?
Betty[OTP]: Because I wanna prove to Jug that we care about him, not just me and you but all of our friends.
Scott[OTP]: Well, just don't go over board with this party alright? A short get together with just the six of us...
Betty[OTP]: Oh, I also invited Ethel as well.
Scott[OTP]:....Who the hell is Ethel?
Betty[OTP]: Oh, she's a friend of me and Veronica. Don't worry, she's sweet. Ok, I gotta go. Talk to you later Scott.
Betty hangs up the phone in a hurry. Scott was left sitting at his desk ,rubbing in face, he felt deep down that this "surprise party" would not end great, but he wanted to be supportive so what else could he do. As he continues to sit, he hears a knock at his door. He turns around to see Angus there, with a smirk on his face.
Angus: Never took you for a lady's man boyo.
Scott: She's just a friend, alright.
Angus: Yeah, that's what they all say...what's this?
Scott: Something I'm thinking about. I can't keep wearing same thing if I wanna get the point across.
Angus: And what point is that?
Scott: Fear.
Angus looks at the seriousness in Scotts eye. He really beloved in what he was doing, and there was nothing that could stop him.
Angus: If that's what you're going for than I say go with... this one.
Angus points at the second design Scott made of his outfit.
Scott: Why that one?
Angus: Because, it's not everyday you see someone dressed like that. I'll see what I can put together.
Scott: What?
Angus: You wanna dress like a lunatic don't ya? Well at least let me help you make your Halloween costume ay?
Scott chuckles to himself as Angus takes the drawing and proceeds to leave his bedroom. He than checks his watch and realizes that he needs to start getting ready for Jughead birthday party.

Scott arrives at the Andrews house. So far the only people who are there are Archie, Kevin, his boyfriend Joaquin, and Ethel Muggs. Mostly, Scott just stood in the corner,drinking punch, while everyone else was talking. He noticed something was off with Archie, he was a lot more "friendlier" than usual. While Scott is sulking in the corner. Ethel Muggs walks up to introduce herself.
Ethel Muggs: Hi, you must be Scott right?
Scott: Yep, and you must be Ethel huh? Betty told me you would come by.
Ethel: It was nice of Betty to invite me. I honestly didn't think she would.
Scott: Well, Betty is full of surprises isn't she?
Ethel: Yeah, well I guess go back in keeping watch. It was nice meeting you Scott.
Ethel walks away to the window, leaving Scott alone once again. Shortly after, Archie walks up to Scott. Scott could smell the alcohol from Archies breath from across the room.
Archie: Hey Man, you enjoying the party?
Scott: Uhh...what party?
Suddenly the door opens. Everyone,excluding Scott, say Surprise, but instead of Jughead and Betty it's Veronica who walks through the door.
Veronica: Do I look like Jughead to you?
Oh. Betty just texted me. They're almost here. You've met Joaquin, right?
Veronica: I haven't had the pleasure.
Veronica pulls Kevin aside, just out of earshot of Joaquin.
Veronica: Also I thought it was inner-circle only tonight?
Kevin: Joaquin's my boyfriend, that makes him inner-circle.
Veronica: Uh-huh, well, I just came from the ,most insane meeting with my dad's lawyer. Between his upcoming hearing and his potential involvement in Jason's murder, not to mention my mom's in a foul mood.
Ethel: Guys, they're really coming this time. Everybody hide.
Veronica: Ugh, I'm so over this.
As Veronica heads to the liquor cabinet, Betty and Jughead walk through the door to everyone, excluding Scott and Veronica, screaming Surprise. Jughead is thrown off ,and kinda disturbed by this shocking gesture.
Jughead: This is why we left the double feature.
Archie: Happy birthday, bro.
Jughead: [WHISPERS] You really shouldn't have. Ugh, you reek. Are you drunk?
Archie: No.
Scott: Happy Birthday, man
Jughead: Thanks Scott, shocked to see you here.
Veronica: [SPEAKING SPANISH]
Jughead: Thanks, Veronica. Thanks, everyone. - Oh, it's Kevin! -
Kevin: Happy birthday, bud. This is my boyfriend, Joaquin.
Jughead: Hey, nice to meet you. Um, has anyone seen Betty?
As soon as he say that, Betty comes around the corner, singing happy birthday to Jughead.
As Jughead begins to blow the candles, Veronica rushes to the Kitchen. Scott notices this and checks on her. As he enters the kitchen, he sees her crying over the sink.
Scott: Veronica? - The stuff with your dad?
Veronica: It's just the tip of the iceberg. I don't want to talk about it.
Scott: Okay. You want a drink?
Veronica: Isn't it the New York sophisticate who's supposed to corrupt the sweet small-town boy?
Scott: I considered myself the bad boy loner, but sweet small-town boy will do.
Scott: Winter is always tough for me. My parents died in the Winter.
Veronica: Oh my god, Scott I'm so sorry.
Scott: No, it's okay. It's just in times like this,being surrounded by people who care, reminds me of the times they were here.
Scott: Forget it. It's nothing compared to what you're going through.
Veronica: He threatened me, Scott. Said he would destroy my mom if I didn't make a statement on his behalf. Said she was just as guilty as he was. And maybe he's lying or maybe he isn't. And maybe he killed Jason Blossom, and...
Before Veronica starts to cry, Scott brings her in to console her. He did not like seeing her sad or troubled and felt so terrible for what she was going through. Not only that, but it also made him more suspicious of Hiram Lodge. As Scott and Veronica hug in the kitchen, Jughead walks in and catches the two.
Jughead: Oh, sorry. Just coming to get ice cream, so... Is everything okay?
Veronica: Yeah, no, I'm just not in a party mood like I usually am.
Jughead: That makes two of us.
Betty: Whoa. Wait. You're not actually upset that I threw you a party, are you?
Jughead: It is nice, Betty. I appreciate it. It's just I would be happier if it was just the five of us in a booth at Pop's.
Betty: Yeah. But we always do that. I wanted to do something special.
Jughead "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
Archie: Jug, come on man. It's not that big of a deal
Betty: Why is everything so doom and gloom with you, Jug? Why can't it just be normal for once?
Jughead: I'm not normal, I'm not wired to be normal.
Just before this lovers spat begins to heat up, the doorbell begins to ring. Everyone was given pause, who else could possibly be here?
Jughead: How many more people did you invite to this thing?
Betty: No one. Inner-circle only.
As the five friends walk to the front door, It opens to reveal Cheryl, Chuck, and what seems to be the entire student body has arrived at this party.
Cheryl: Did you really think you could have a party without inviting moi?
Chuck Or me?
Moose: Archie, where do you want the kegs?
Archie: Screw it! One in the kitchen, one in the backyard.
The Students cheer by this announcement. Jughead quickly runs off, with Scott shortly following behind him. The Party of nightmares was about to begin.
