It's funny how at night your minds never more awake. It's like the dark shines a type of light only your inner eye can see.
Then again, my dreams come under the light of the blue moon and often in the morning that colors my mood.
I don't know what treasure my inner eye searches for but I'm sure as hell blind to it.
In this pocket of night when I try to join the river of sleep my bottom bunk feels more like an observatory. When I stare at the top bunk all I see is my future written with stars, showing me all I can be if I trust in my own being.
