Y/n POV:
I just left from jasmines house a little early because I told the girls I had to run some errands for my mom, when honestly I was running from Jacob.
I know Kayla told me to forget about him, but the truth is I can't! I hate the fact that me and him are not talking and I honestly don't care he has a girlfriend. I just want to at least say something to him other than nothing...
Today we kinda had some glances exchanged between us and it made me feel at least the slightest hopeful that he thinks about me too.
Anyway, on the brighter side of things did i mention that I have a car! Yasss! My daddy bought me a car and it's a Ferrari. I literally fell in love wit it the day it arrived. Custom made darling!
The only people who know about it are Kayla and Brianna who already made me promise them a field trip in My own car. But gotta love em.

Currently I was driving my car to the nearest walmart to pick up some snacks, because my mom was working late again. And ain't no body gonna cook this late.
I was walking into the store gravitating towards the shelf wit chips. Taking a pack of hot Cheetos off the shelf, while on my phone checking up on Instagram. I turned around to only find myself bumping into someone.
"Oh, I'm so sorry it was totally my fault" I said bending down to help pick up the stuff they dropped.
"It's all good ma" the person said wit a smooth but deep voice. standing up at the same time as me, I looked up to see this sexy ass boy looking back at me wit a smirk.
"um... was this yours?" I said stumbling over my words.
" yeah... Thx" he said taking the stuff from me.
"No problem" I said smiling.
" hey do I know you" he said looking at me more intently.
" um.. I don't know, do you?" I said raising my eyebrows.
" yeah, you go to Lincoln high right" he said smiling.
" uh yah I do" i said curious as to how he knew.
" I'm Malik, Malik Johnson." He said looking for a signal that I may remember something.
After a while I found out his identity.
" oh yah, your Layla's brother" I said smiling which made him smile triggering mini shocks throughout my body.
" and it's y/n right" he said.
" Wow you remembered"
" how could I forget?" He said smiling and looking at me wit those addicting green eyes of his. Which is the reason why we almost never got his homework done and girls loved him like kids love candy.
You see me and Malik had a past. Malik was Layla's half brother, they had the same dad and different moms. He was nothing like his sister, much more hardworking and dedicated. I remember him because I tutored him one year in AP physics. But he moved to another school and we lost contact. Anyway he got way taller and more fine than I remember. I mean he was always cute, but now he is gorgeous!
" I'm glad you remember too, we did have some good times huh" he said biting his lip. Which gave me chills.
"so um we should catch up"
" yah sure" I replied.
"Aight then, give me your phone" he said smirking again.
"Why" i said teasing him.
" just give it here baby girl" he said grabbing the phone out my hands making sure our fingers lingered against each other.
I forgot that's the silly nickname he gave me when I tutored him. Did I mention he had a crush?
"You could be a thief you know" I said as he gave me back my phone.
"Nah wearing masks ain't really my thing" he said smiling. " I'll text you later, maybe we can meet up"
"Aight, Maybe" I said turning around to walk away.
"Hey y/n!" He yelled after me.
" yeah" I said turning around.
"It was nice to see you again" he said looking at me wit his hands in his pockets.
I smiled and replied " same here"
